"The hotel is relatively quiet, which is a big plus! It was better than expected. Although climbing the stairs was tiring, the staff helped with our luggage. The pool is beautiful, and I even practiced snorkeling there on the first day, haha. The location is excellent, with a great massage parlor nearby that I visited daily and shared in my photos. There's also a famous restaurant downstairs with a super delicious mango shake—all within a 5-minute walk. Plus, there's a shooting range and Kata Beach. My friend said Karon Beach was dirty, so I chose to stay near Kata Beach this time, and the sand was indeed very fine. The location is truly superb. Several front desk staff speak Chinese, making communication very smooth. The most noteworthy thing is that Skyline Adventure is nearby. We booked through Trip.com, and they picked us up last, which saved us a lot of unnecessary detours and waiting for other members. Nice!"

"The room is beautiful and very clean. The bed is soft with 4 pillows, very comfortable to sleep on. The fridge, coffee, kettle, hangers, and hairdryer are all fully equipped. Plenty of power outlets, it's wonderful! I'd give it 5 stars. Parking might be a bit limited, but it's not an issue. I highly recommend staying here if you visit Phuket. It's also conveniently located."

Pros: • The hotel is new and clean, with a simple yet comfortable room design. • The outdoor pool and garden are perfect for relaxation. • Excellent service, with smooth check-in and check-out. • Located in Chalong, which is relatively quieter than Patong Beach. Heads-up: It's a bit of a drive or taxi ride to popular beaches (Kata, Karon, Patong). This hotel is more suitable for those looking for a quiet rest and who don't want to stay in a bustling night market area.”"

"The hotel service was great, and the front desk owner was very enthusiastic. However, the hot water in the room needs improvement. For the first two days of our three-day stay, the shower water was only lukewarm. It only returned to normal on the third day. The location is excellent, with two 7-Elevens right outside and Jungceylon shopping mall next door, making dining and shopping very convenient. Bang La seafood market is directly opposite, which is great for seafood lovers. There's a boxing gym next door, which can be noisy from 8 PM to 11 PM, but since we were on vacation and didn't go to bed early, it didn't bother us. The beach is about a ten-minute walk away. On our last day, they even let us use the swimming pool for a few hours after checking out. Overall, I think it was a very good stay."

"The hotel was amazing! We stayed at the Riu Palace from September 6th to 12th, staying in an Elite Club Sea View room with a pool. Our stay coincided with the hotel's opening, so there were very few guests—a big plus for us. Everything was new, clean, and very well-maintained. The staff was professional and attentive, and the service was truly top-notch. The food, drinks, and room cleaning were all in keeping with a good 5-star hotel. The only downside for us was the pools being quite shallow; we wish they were deeper. Otherwise, everything was excellent. We really enjoyed it, and the service truly deserves special praise."

I must commend Thomas and all the staff! From check-in onwards, they were enthusiastic yet discreet, never overly intrusive but always accurately anticipating our needs. The restaurant staff were attentive and thoughtful, responding quickly to any inquiries or requests, communicating smoothly and politely. The overall quality of the staff is very high; whether guiding us, explaining tour routes, or coordinating requests, they were thorough and meticulous. You could feel their genuine friendliness throughout, making the entire stay comfortable and stress-free. The hotel's food completely exceeded my expectations. The on-site restaurants offer a rich selection of dishes, blending Thai flavors with sophisticated Western cuisine. We tried the Thai mango sticky rice with vanilla ice cream – the sticky rice was soft, sweet, and rich with a milky flavor; the Caesar salad was refreshing and light; the beef carpaccio appetizer had a delicate texture; the seafood black ink pasta had plump and tender prawns; the grilled steak and tiger prawns were cooked to perfection; and the flavorful Peruvian ceviche was outstanding. Every dish was beautifully plated and tasted great. Both the main courses and desserts were flawless. You can enjoy high-quality gourmet meals right at the hotel without needing to venture out. The guest rooms and facilities also added significantly to the experience. The hotel is very new, and every area, from the public spaces to the guest rooms, is spotlessly clean, with no signs of age. The rooms are spacious with a comfortable layout and simple yet luxurious soft furnishings. The washroom and lounge areas are well-divided, making for a relaxing and unconstrained stay. The hotel offers complete resort facilities, surrounded by lush greenery, creating a quiet and elegant environment with picturesque spots everywhere. You could spend an entire day relaxing at the hotel without getting bored. Based on this trip, I've put together a few practical tips for anyone planning to stay here: 1. The hotel's location is excellent. It's very close to Phuket Airport, saving time and effort for transfers, and the journey to Phang Nga Bay is smooth, making travel very convenient. 2. The hotel is geared towards a tranquil resort experience, with fewer crowds. It's perfect for guests who want to relax, avoid bustling city crowds, and seek a quiet, private vacation. For those who prefer lively nightlife and shopping, it's essential to plan your itinerary in advance and arrange transportation to and from the city center. 3. The hotel's internal dining quality is very high, so it's perfectly fine if you don't want to bother going out for meals. If you want to experience local street markets, plan your travel time accordingly. 4. The hotel's service response is efficient. For any inquiries about tours or room-related needs, you can directly communicate with Thomas and other staff members. They will patiently offer practical local advice. Overall, this is one of the best hotel experiences I've had in Phuket. The new and clean environment, high-quality attentive service, delicious and comprehensive dining, and excellent location are all top-notch. If you're tired of crowded, popular resorts and just want a peaceful, relaxing getaway, Radisson Blu Mai Khao is definitely my first choice. I will choose to stay here again next time I visit Phuket!"

"I had the chance to stay at this hotel pretty much right after it opened. It's definitely a fantastic hotel. From the building's facade inwards, you can tell a great designer worked on it – everything is GORGEOUS. As for the room, we loved it; beautiful furniture, a luxurious interior, comfortable beds, lovely linens, and the pillows were like clouds. I even slept better than at home. The breakfasts, which were included with our booking, were à la carte. Everything we ordered was delicious and beautifully presented. What was missing: a beach bag and a TV in the bedroom. What I didn't like: upon check-in, we were given the hotel rules and had to sign a document confirming we'd read them. It stated that if any stains appeared on the furniture or bedding, we'd be charged a fine. I don't remember the exact amount. It's not that we normally make a mess of furniture, no. But accidents can happen – unintentional incidents. And considering the furniture in the room was light-colored, and the chairs in the dining area were made of white velvet, it was actually a bit daunting to even sit on them. Luckily, in our case, everything was fine, but it certainly added a bit of stress. After this hotel, we stayed at two more of the same category. And honestly, the beauty of this hotel overshadowed all the subsequent ones. I think it will now be on our list of preferred places to stay."
