You're only a few miles from the centre of this lovely cathedral city, with all the main tourist and business destinations on hand. You could hop on the Nene Valley Railway or take a trip to the Fens. Then after a day out and about, return for a hearty Beefeater grill and relax in our extra-comfy beds.

"Quiet location, a local family restaurant is nearby. Room price is very very competitive!
10 minutes drive to city centre but just 5-7 minutes drive to Nene park which is great.
Room renovation and breakfast buffet are the same as other Holiday Inn Express do. Food quality is expected and consistent.
Shower water pressure was not very very strong but still acceptable."

"I stayed for one night at a rate of £42. The hotel is located in a busy service station area, so there was plenty of activity around. Despite this, the hotel itself was quiet. Although it was clearly fully booked, we didn’t hear any noise from outside or other guests, suggesting that the rooms are either well soundproofed or fellow guests were very considerate. There’s no restaurant or café within the hotel itself, but McDonald’s and several other fast-food options are conveniently located in the neighbouring building."

"This is a very old hotel, the hotel is a bit old, but the room is large, the hotel is good, the only drawback is that there is no elevator on the second floor, but the overall stay experience is still good, the best choice for family travel, facilities are also very good!"

"Check in was smooth. Receptionist were friendly and helpful.
Hotel is located is a very good location, away from the hustle and bustle of the city Center, yet very close to pop in and out when need.
Overall, we had a fabulous time at Holiday Inn Peterborough. I’d recommend it any day."

"The hotel is the basic we needed when we used it. The room is clean and the double bed is spacious enough for 2 people. The breakfast is great with a variety of breakfasts. My only concern is that the taxi is quite expensive compared to Uber, so I will recommend Uber instead of using the hotel taxi list."

"30 minutes walk to Peterborough train station. The room and bathroom are large, clean and comfortable, the windows can be opened, facing the shaft, no view. Basic facilities such as electric kettle and hair dryer are complete. Wifi speed is slow."
