Hotels near Gourmet Chocolate Museum in Paris

Stay for an excellent hotel even you are in a tight budget. You can enjoy everything in this hotel like the location is in the city center, more amenities, lots of resto, shopping malls, few steps on the Metro and bus stations, can dine at a cheapest resto at the corners of the streets but not on the main boulevards - it is pricey. Thanks to the staffs of the hotel, they are amazing, very friendly and no discrimination even if you are an asian people. Special thanks to Ma Florence, Eunice and the very beautiful girl at the reception (I forgot her name sounds like Ms Donnie. Also the young old man, always at the counter, very accommodating and smiling face as always. I definitely recommended this if you have a limited budget. Unlimited breakfast buffet for only 9.50 Euro. You would not avail the breakfast. The hotel has free coffee and water. We are stayed at the ground floor but I suggest better to take a room on the higher level of the floors to see the beautiful corners when you outside of the window. This is up to 5th floors. I think. Stayed for 2 nights in room 101 although next to lift no noise issues due lift other side of bathroom. Room size OK for paris & happy with decor & cleanliness. Aircon was excellent & blackout curtains worked a treat. No tea/coffee facility or fridge in room but unlimited coffee at breakfast. Breakfast was continental & plenty of choice. This is probably the best hotel for value I have stopped in Paris and will now be my hotel of choice in paris. Location good for train station

It has a quite good location. but still little bit far from the city center. And staff at front desk are not that work well. they are sometimes confusing what bed is available. also they are not that concentrating on the online booking. seems like… But really clean and good facilities i highly recommend

Decided to book a last minute trip to Paris & my partner had booked this hotel as part of a package. Upon searching the hotel, I was very skeptical how this hotel would be and had very low standards of arriving due to all the reviews I’d read. The room & hotel were clean and tidy, staff are lovely and nothing was a hassle for them, breakfast was brought out quickly and re-filled if finished! Only downfall being how tiny the bathroom is, quite a struggle getting round about everything in the bathroom as it’s all packed in so tightly & the mattress was a bit uncomfortable, but that bit wasn’t too much of a bother to me as the pillows made up for it! Two stars knocked off primarily for the size of bathroom and mattress but can’t grumble too much due to the price paid! Still very happy and satisfied with our stay.

First things first, there effectively is no Lennon Hotel. There is no reception there and no breakfast room. Everything from the administration on is done through the Avalon Hotel next door so, make the assumption that you are going to the Avalon and you will not get lost or confused. The decor is both dated and modern at the same time. I would say, typically French so I am glad they didn't go all chain hotel and boring. The Bedroom - The choice of furniture I would question. In some pictures you can see what looks like a coat rack. This is the 'wardrobe' in the room. There are 6 hooks which may or may not have 6 hangers. Beneath that could well be a full size laptop safe (free to use) and under that, what I would have used as the shoe shelf. There really isn't anywhere for smaller items at all, they likely will stay in your luggage. With the lighting it's either bright or very bright so, there wasn't really an option to have it dimly lit though there are a selection of ceiling light, wall lamps and table lamps, they are all bright. Our room (100) was not a king size bed, I feel 4' 6” as it was certainly smaller than we are used to. In many pictures it shows the white bed pillows supplemented by small blue (green) ones. This is certainly not the case with every room. The Bathroom - I can but speak for our room as I understand other rooms have different configurations. We had a walk in shower with a rain shower head and a hand held spray adjusted using ornate handles. The toilet was on the wall. I personally don't like those, I feel incredibly unsafe especially when they creak like this one did when sat on. To make it worse, we're only 5' 3” and it's just too high, we felt like 5 year olds in need of a step stall. I wondered if this might not be aimed at wheelchair users as I am disabled but I do not use a chair but a mobility scooter (which there was plenty of room for). Then I consider the sink which is high up, too high for a wheelchair user. Of course, there is no chair in the shower either so, if it is meant to be an accessible room, it kind of isn't. The walls are done in tiles. Very mismatched tiles, not sure whether that was intentional or just years of different repairs and replacements. I feel that the light blue small square tiles were original but that when the shower, toilet and sink were last done they were not replicable so got replaced with blue rectangle tiles. The floor tiles are probably original but very worn and though they may have been, I never felt they were clean. Being a walk in shower the water got everywhere and the floor remained wet all night so we kept a towel on the floor by the door. Us British might find it weird to see a hairdryer in the bathroom right next to the sink, I think a plug socket too! The large round mirror was supposed to light up with a touch switch but, we never got it to work. In my room the A\C didn't work, the wc room was so small that i couldn't fit in (i'm184 and very slim), the aeration system didn't work inside the bathroom and one light was flickering, the room was dirty and you could hear every single words that my room neighbours were saying, you could hear also every drop of piss they had. I went to the concierge and he Immediately changed my room with a smile, he did the right thing with the right attitude. The new room was better but still dirty (the cleaning lady skipped twice in a week the cleaning) and kind of outdated. The position of hotel is perfect but from my point of view the pricing is out of this world for this kind of structure. Thank you again to all the hotel staff for their kindness.

Good location for the cost, easy to get to from CDG, close to the Opera and 2 other metro stations to explore. The room is a bit small, but comfortable. I would improve the ventilation in the bathroom.

After much research, I booked Hotel Beaurepaire for my husband and I based on the location and great price. We requested a balcony room as we were celebrating our anniversary. We were pleasantly surprised to have been granted our request upon arrival and the balcony was 1000% the move. I would have been disappointed in the accommodations without it. Made the small room feel much bigger and you get to experience the sounds of the neighborhood. The hotel has no AC which was fine for the cooler temps we experienced. There is a fan in the room which helped as well. The bathroom is so small. Nice shower but you can hardly sit on the toilet, the wall is so close to it. Turn down service was wonderful, everything in the room clean, and the Nespresso machine was great. You can hear other guests through the walls but the fan drowns it out. The hotel could use some upgrades in the lobby and stairwells. The elevator is as small as they say; room for one person and maybe one suitcase. Great restaurants and bakeries in the neighborhood and easy access to the Metro and bus lines. Overall we loved being in this neighborhood and the staff was so helpful and friendly.

The experience has been fantastic. A quiet neighborhood. With good location. The rooms very clean. The service is very kind, friendly and helpful. The breakfast very good. We stayed on the 7th floor, very good views, the elevator needed to reach that floor because we had to climb stairs, but everything was great, happy with the stay.

Had to book this last minute and any hotel you book last minute in Paris is going to cost more than you really want to pay. However, this one wasn't quite as exorbitant as others in the same area: judging by the notices in French, English and Russian, I assume they normally have a lot of Russians staying there who currently cannot due to world events. Gare du Nord is walking distance if you're arriving by train (so is Gare de l'Est). Chose the area because one band I wanted to see were playing in La Villette one day and another in La Défense the next. There's a Métro line straight back from La Villette and a Transilien running from Gare St Lazare (also walking distance) to La Défense, meaning I could actually get some sleep the night between the two gigs and still get to the queue early. Room was small, but tastefully furnished, with the sort of furniture that reminds you that you're in France. Nice powerful shower of the sort you seldom find in hotel rooms these days, although the shower doors sometimes came out or their tracks, which was annoying. Room gets very hot in summer, but owners obviously aware of this and there was a highly effective tower fan. One odd thing happened concerning cups. Lots of tea and coffee, which was good, but there were only paper cups, which the housekeeping staff kept not replacing after use, even though they replenished the tea and coffee. Eventually, there were no cups left. Had to mention this at reception, whereupon I got more paper cups. Overall, decent place and probably the best I could have found in the circumstances.
