Reykjavik Hotels with Parking

A once-in-a-lifetime trip made more meaningful and charming by world-leading staff and service. We messaged ahead and told them that we were on our honeymoon. Iceland is a unique place on Earth, but almost as surprising as the geology, geography and weather was just how remarkable and excellent this hotel was. Its location was outstanding right in the old city centre and an easy walk to boat trips (for organised bus trips, which all use the same bus stop numbering, the nearest bus stop is number 5, about 5 minutes’ walk away), the breakfast was splendid and the room was unbelievably cosy, which was particularly welcome after a winter’s day adventuring amongst the ice and snow and especially the epic and cold wind. This once-in-a-lifetime trip was made extraordinarily special by the outstanding and attentive staff who really impressed with their thoughtfulness and commitment to excellence throughout. We cannot thank the whole team enough, both everyone we met as well as everyone who worked behind the scenes, for delivering a world-leading stay. We felt exceptionally lucky to have chosen this hotel, and so delighted that we did!

I'm really happy with the room! For this price during winter travel, it's excellent value for money. The room was super warm, and it even has a private kitchen with a washing machine, oven, fridge, and all the necessary utensils. The surrounding area is very convenient. Excellent budget hotel. Good location couple of things to note probably @ Trip.com fault not hotel Your booking doesn’t guarantee “free parking” you only get that if booking direct. Trip falsely advertise free parking. Also there was a surcharge to pay at check in approx 800 krona again trip won’t disclose this. For these reasons I avoided booking through trip my next booking. Hotel was excellent and good fresh breakfast.

This hotel offers decent value for money in Iceland. The elderly gentleman at the reception provided excellent service. Although the bathrooms are shared, they were very clean. They also offer a €5 breakfast. The location is superb, within walking distance to both the bus station and city attractions. The only minor drawback is the soundproofing; you can hear footsteps in the hallway. Everything else was great.

The breakfast was really delicious, the service from every employee in the hotel was wonderful. The beds were not that great, and the rooms were too warm. I also wish they had better room darkening window coverings as it was very bright in the room. I was also a bit disappointed in the art, they advertise as an art hotel but there were multiple copies of the same picture in the hallways and there wasn't as much art as I expected. The huge bathtub was nice, but the small bathroom was hard to manage.

Service provided by Ginta was excellent! Initially we were assigned to a room on the 3rd floor, which would have been impossible for us as there was no elevator and we had two big luggages. Ginta was very helpful and accommodating to our request, she called her manager and helped us to change rooms to the first floor. We also had to leave early by 7:30am the next day for a tour, but breakfast officially only starts at 7:30am. Ginta helped to arrange and ensure we had breakfast before we left. Location is great, less than a 5 minute walk to bus stop #8 and Hallgrimskirkja church. It was also easy to walk to Rainbow street, Laugavegur and other attractions.

1. It's located outside the main city area of Rayong, and we had to circle a few times to find parking when we arrived at night. 2. There's a washer and dryer, but the dryer isn't very efficient. What made it worse was that even with everyone waiting in line, the staff insisted on drying a huge pile of dishcloths needed for the next morning. This caused the dryer to keep restarting, and we ended up waiting until 2-3 AM for our turn. 3. Breakfast variety is okay. 4. The room size is decent, but you can't open four large suitcases at once. 5. The room door is really odd; you have to slam it shut with a lot of force for it to lock. Overall, it's a hotel I'd be willing to revisit.

My stay at the Hilton Reykjavik Nordica was, overall, very satisfying. The hotel itself is spacious and comfortable, with a clean and modern design that perfectly captures the fresh Scandinavian aesthetic, while also offering the refinement and convenience expected of a high-quality accommodation. The front desk staff were excellent; check-in and check-out were efficient, and communication was smooth, making them feel both professional and attentive. My room was spotless and quite spacious, with a comfortable bed that ensured a great night's sleep. The attention to cleanliness details made me feel very secure and at ease. The hotel breakfast is also commendable, with a wide variety of fresh options that perfectly met my dining needs during the trip. While not in the absolute city center, the location is still convenient for getting around, and the quiet surroundings are ideal for a good rest. The hotel's facilities are comprehensive, providing a consistent and reliable stay. Whether for a business trip or a leisure vacation, you'll experience excellent service and quality here. All in all, this hotel offers a great combination of comfort, service, and brand assurance. My entire stay was pleasant and effortless, making it a highly recommended and quality accommodation option when visiting Reykjavik.

The hotel's location is excellent, and parking is super convenient and free. The room isn't huge, and the bathroom is a bit small, but it's very clean, and the bedding is fresh and comfortable. The front desk staff are also very friendly.

Great location right in the center of Reykjavik. Clean bedding and a private room all to myself. A bonus was the coffee and tea available downstairs, and there's also a microwave. The building is quite old, but if you need a decent place to sleep at a reasonable price and don't like dorm rooms, I recommend it. On the downside, the coffee and tea room was closed on Sunday morning. We also had a fire alarm go off at 2 AM, but it turned out to be nothing.
