Amazing
GGuest UserThis hotel boasts an excellent location. It's just one stop to Tsukiji Market, and the Yurikamome Line to Odaiba is quick and convenient. Akihabara is only 20 minutes away, and it's a direct line to Shiba Park, Roppongi, Minami-Aoyama, Shibuya, Shinjuku, and Yoyogi. Ginza is a 20-minute walk or a 1200 yen taxi ride. Haneda Airport is half an hour away, and a taxi isn't too expensive; you can even use Didi. It's peaceful despite being in a bustling area; Shimbashi Station is lively with plenty of dining, drinking, and shopping options. I found the hotel itself quite quiet. On the 25th floor, you might hear the Shinkansen, but we were on the 28th floor and didn't hear any train track noise, so our sleep wasn't disturbed. A side note: this hotel is very popular with Western foreigners; about 95% of guests seemed to be. We stayed for four nights in the most basic room type, which was small but perfectly adequate. The lobby offers an all-you-can-drink selection for 1000 yen per glass, and you can enjoy it while admiring the Tokyo Tower view from the lobby or take it back to your room. Next to the check-in desk, there's a service counter that can help you book Japanese restaurants, which is a thoughtful touch. There are many art pieces and exhibitions; before leaving, I bought a lucky cat for my daughter that she loved, made in Japan. We tried the hotel breakfast on the first day, and honestly, that was the only downside to our stay. The restaurant staff were all cold and unsmiling, a stark contrast to the welcoming lobby staff. We had a stroller, and no one guided us on where to park it; we ended up folding it ourselves and placing it next to our table. We had to specifically ask for a high chair, and no baby cutlery was provided. Furthermore, the food was poor value for money, 9000 yen for two adults, with limited good options and bad coffee. Despite this, I would definitely stay here again on my next trip to Tokyo.

KKelaodemanFirst off, this is by far the most spacious hotel I've ever stayed at in Japan. For a family of four, having four beds, a small living area, and a completely separate bathroom, toilet, and vanity area is incredibly rare in Japan. Secondly, the cost is significantly more affordable compared to hotels in Ginza. Thirdly, the location is super convenient. Asakusa Station is right downstairs, making it incredibly easy to get to Shibuya, Shinjuku, Ueno, Disneyland, Kamakura, and Yokohama. Just across the street are Sumida Park and Sumida River, with the Tokyo Skytree directly opposite! Fourth, the surrounding area is unbeatable. You have the ancient Senso-ji Temple, Nakamise-dori, and Shin-Nakamise-dori, offering an abundance of food, entertainment, drinks, sights, and shopping – absolutely everything you could ask for, so convenient! There's even a currency exchange machine downstairs. And as for the hotel service, it goes without saying that Japanese hospitality is top-notch.

GGuest UserThe location is absolutely perfect! Shinjuku Station is literally just downstairs, about 200 meters away, and the bus terminal is right next door. Getting around from here is incredibly convenient. Within a kilometer, you're surrounded by shopping malls, so eating and shopping are super easy. I stayed for four nights this time, and the front desk staff were really enthusiastic. Even though there wasn't anyone who spoke Chinese, English communication or using a translation app worked just fine, and their service attitude was excellent. I'd definitely stay here again next time I'm in Shinjuku.

Mmezzan9neThis hotel is turning out to be my go-to as it is my second time staying there out of my 3 times visiting Tokyo. Very conveniently located, just a short 2 stops away from Tokyo station, and at the mouth of the vibrant and exciting Akihabara Electric Town, it was a cozy home away from home. This time round though, I was assigned a room on the 3rd floor, just off the reception and I was afraid that it would be noisy, but it was well off the main area so it was still fairly well contained. Room was as usual, cozy and comfortable and had a bigger desk area than my previous stay. Walking distance to Aikihabara, and many abd eateries, kobinis, and a minute away to Akihabara Station, really the location takes the cake. Nothing much negative to say, and definitely will be top of the list for subsequent Tokyo visits!

GGuest UserI've stayed at Keio Plaza's Premier Grand at least 10 times, and it offers incredible value for money. It's much better than other hotels in the same price range, and I highly recommend it. A special shout-out to the breakfast on the 45th floor. While it doesn't have as many options as the second-floor breakfast, every single item is exquisite. The ingredients and preparation are clearly done with great care, making it more refined and delicious than breakfasts I've had at many 5-star hotels.

GGuest UserThe hotel's location is fantastic, really close to Shinjuku Station, which makes shopping super convenient. Montbell, Keio Department Store, Nowan, Lumine 1 & 2, Yodobashi Camera, and more are all within walking distance. Plus, there's a McDonald's and a Lawson nearby, so breakfast is no problem. The hotel looks very new, and the room was spacious. I'd definitely stay here again!

GGuest UserThough small, this hotel has everything you need. Its Ginza location is incredibly convenient, perfect for shopping or quickly getting to Narita Airport via the expressway. What truly impressed me is how many features are packed into such a compact space. They have a coin-operated laundry and a large public bath. The room, which I'd estimate at about 20 square meters, even managed to fit bunk beds (1.2m/1.5m), making it very family-friendly. A minor point is that since the hotel is directly above the subway, you occasionally feel vibrations as trains pass. This led to a funny moment when an actual earthquake hit at night, and I initially thought it was just another train going by!

GGuest UserPros: 1. The overall design is quite appealing. Cons: 1. The 15 sqm room is incredibly small. Don't believe for a second that this room type can accommodate two people! If there are two of you, you'd need at least 20 sqm, and I doubt this 15 sqm room is even truly 15 sqm. 2. The hotel has an absurdly small number of power outlets. There are no outlets by the bed at all! This is a terrible design. You can only charge devices by the TV. The room only has two charging outlets in total – one in the bathroom and one by the TV! How are two people supposed to charge their devices? 3. The hotel entrance is also very small. Across the street, Koko has sofas and other seating areas, but this hotel only has a few outdoor stools.

JJoyful TravellerWhile this hotel has a convenient location, the experience was ruined by a lack of basic hospitality and very cramped quarters. The room was so small it was difficult to even open two large suitcases. More disappointing, however, was the staff’s attitude. Everything is followed strictly 'by the book' with zero flexibility. I was told a late check-out would be charged by the hour, and even a simple request for a complimentary bottle of water was flatly denied. The staff were condescending and never offered a smile, making for a very unwelcoming environment. A small gesture like a bottle of water costs almost nothing but earns customer loyalty; unfortunately, this hotel chooses rigid rules over guest satisfaction. I would not recommend staying here.

GGuest UserStaying in a tatami room was a new experience! My only minor quibble was the TV being on the side of the bed, which felt a bit unusual. Otherwise, everything was super comfortable. This is the closest hotel to the exhibition center, and I've been staying here for years. The staff are always incredibly helpful, quick to answer questions and resolve any issues. And the breakfast? Consistently amazing!
