KKeaiduoduojaneMostly individual travelers stay here, and it's very conveniently located with easy access to transportation and shopping. The service is excellent, everyone is very friendly and enthusiastic. The breakfast offers a good variety, and there's a free minibar. It's also easy to find places to eat nearby; if you turn left out of the hotel and walk about 500 meters, there's a restaurant with an amazing 'Big Long Burger' for only 35 RMB, easily enough for two people.

I had a very pleasant stay at Cinnamon Lakeside Colombo. The service throughout the hotel was fantastic and the staff genuinely go out of their way to help.
The breakfast was a highlight. There is a very big variety and great choice of options, which made mornings enjoyable and convenient.
At one point the phone in our room stopped working. I went to reception to inform them and they immediately sent a technician. The issue was fixed in under 10 minutes, which shows how efficient and responsive the team is.
Room service was also very accommodating. I was travelling alone with my daughter and the staff made extra effort to make everything easy and comfortable for us.
Overall a great experience. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would happily stay here again.

CCJ12A beautiful building in a very pleasant area of Colombo; the architecture and interior design of the hotel are a joy to behold and the vast majority of staff are polite and courteous. Plenty of amenities nearby to suit all tastes and interests. The breakfasts were great both mornings (both the Sri Lankan breakfast and the Western style), and they really lived up to the high expectations we’d had from the Instagram marketing we’d seen.
We were upgraded to the North West Suite, which was a larger room, for which we were greatly appreciative; a couple of issues with working plugs and appliances (coffee machine and hair dryer) were reported and rectified, although the wiring/plugs more broadly were temperamental and poorly placed (as expected, possibly, with the charm of an older hotel). However, the bed was comfortable, the hotel was quiet, and the bathroom was well appointed.
Our only qualm was with the overzealous Head of Housekeeping, who seemed to not grasp the subtlety required for such a role, or the privacy with which guests might like to enjoy the beautiful hotel. It appeared that he lingered all too often in search of a tip, and didn’t quite appreciate the boundaries one might desire when paying a reasonable fee for each night. My wife and I took to speedily locking the door and placing the ‘Do Not Disturb’ sign on the handle to keep his incessant interrupting to a minimum. His deputy was, however, an asset to the hotel, who seemed to comprehend the subtle art of providing high quality service for a luxury stay in a lovely hotel.
All-in-all, a great choice for a hotel in the heart of Colombo, and hopefully, during a busier season, the aforementioned Head of Housekeeping might spread his overbearing attention across the many rooms of the hotel.

ZZorpaOverall a great couple of nights. Good hotel with very helpful and attentive staff. The room was spotless, big bed and great water pressure in the shower (not a given in a lot of places!) The rooftop pool is nice to sit beside but be aware the surrounding buildings do block pretty much all views so fine as long as you're not expecting to watch the sunset!

D with non alcoholic freshly made juice for my self and my littlest extremely accomodating at such a late hour breakfast was a buffet setup with. Oth Western European and traditional Sri Lanka cuisines and we still pretty much could order anything anyway - my daughter wanted western style eggs fried sunny side up on toast cracked them right there in front of here the view was incredible from our room you could hear the ocean crash against the rocks only wish we could have stayed longer really good people place service was exceptional- you. E nice they be nice easy peasy xox
