This hotel has the worst customer service. When checking in, we asked very specifically about parking our rental car. The young man who checked in us asked where we had already parked, we answered him, and he confirmed that it was the correct spot. The following day we discovered our vehicle had been towed. We spent 135.00 at the impound lot, 35.00 on an Uber, and 150.00 on missed tours. We spent 2 hours waiting for the tow company, in an unmanned lot, because they work by appointments. We missed our kayaking, we got rained on and eaten alive by bugs. When we returned to the hotel, we checked out and The Francis Hotel’s response was “you shouldn’t have parked there and we can’t refund you for the night you are not staying”. The rooms feel like a slight step up from a college dorm. The vibe is they “ran out of money upgrading but they will get there someday”. Stay anywhere else, if you can.
