"Perfectly fine hotel to stay in and good location right off the main strip. Checking in after hours was a bit difficult and I needed to call a number and go through quite a bit of stuff to get the access code but once I was in there the room was a decent size and clean and nice. I’d stay here again because of the location."

"Strong point: Ideal location close to the metro exit. It is possible to go to the center of Sydney on foot and if you walk around Victoria it is possible to have a very beautiful view of the Sydney landscape.
Weak point: The hotel has a laundry room, however it is a shame that it is not clean.
The hotel is not new, the room was ok for a short stay."

"There are many restaurants around at a reasonable price near Cbd. It seems to be a place where the traditional elevator and the newly renovated interior are swamped. You can cook in your room and you can cook your own T-bon steak at Coles, 5 minutes walk."

"Great location and great people. For the price it is very good.
Points of criticism:
- If you have the upper bed, you don't have a socket on the bed. You may be lucky that there is an extension cable
- there are no curtains on the beds. So zero privacy"

"I like to experience youth hostels, but I don't recommend this one. The toilet is shared outside, and you have to climb stairs to go to the toilet. There are no curtains and independent lights. Check-in is done online. But the service is very good and the bedding is changed for each guest."

"Traveling to Australia, the highest hotel. After I checked in, I really lived up to expectations and left a very good impression on me. I upgraded the most luxurious room type for free, with a bathtub and balcony, and the area was super large. The hotel is located in a deep alley, quiet and low-key; The hotel has a heavy sense of history and the design of materials is very solid. Breakfast is perfect, bedding is perfect, the environment is perfect, it is perfect!"

"There is a train station nearby, so it is convenient for travel. There is a large supermarket and business district just a few steps downstairs, which is convenient for life. The price of accommodation is very cost-effective. The only drawback is that there is no swimming pool."

"Old style but clean Big room..
With 2 large queen size bed and 1 sofa bed.
Enjoy staying here as a family of 5 people with kids, will surely come back.
Easy to get foods, walking distance to train station, near supermarket, but perhaps crowded on weekend since its opposite of clubs and so.
Safety box not working well, but finally they change it after 3 days.
Internet not good, ask to front office but unsatisfying answer, but finally better after handle by other staff and it's after 3 days.
Overall its good and great 👍"

⭐️ I went to check in at around 11am I thought I had to check-in at 2pm but she let me in. Moreover, in the morning when I was checked-out she offered me that I can leave my luggage here in your room then come to get it after. It’s made me feel very happy with this hotel ❤️❗️

YYingyingmoThe original Chalis old house was transformed into a hotel and a B&B. It has a beautiful appearance. We were assigned to the first floor. The room was compact and the bathroom was even smaller. The location is good. It is a busy area. It takes more than ten minutes to walk to the subway entrance.

GGuest UserI loved my stay at this hostel. I met great people, the room was super comfy, very quiet. The kitchen + living room are super spacious, it's really nice here! Location is perfect, just a 15min walk from the botanical gardens + a view on the opera house. And a 2 min walk from Kingscross train station, from which you can take a train to most parts of the city + outside of Syndey. Lovely! If you stay in Sydney, I would 100% recommend London Plane Backpackers.

AAudrey ExplorerFriendly customer service and hotel guests. Clean and tidy. Only the fridge is too full, and no laundry machine yet. The big plus is the location, next to the King Cross entrance at Darlinghurst road.
