The restaurant is warmly decorated and has a rich breakfast. It is registered in Michelin. It is still to be evaluated as “Star” and Western food. There are many antique furniture and animal specimens in the public area, and the spa and sauna are great, that is, the water temperature is slightly lower. There is also a massage service and no time to enjoy.

I traveled alone to Prague, and booked a golden well two days before and after the birthday; this hotel is awesome! I also lived in A***. The service level of this hotel is no different from A***; as they say, treat their guests like kings.... When checking in, there was a welcome juice. The receptionist was very enthusiastic to help me draw a recommended route on the map; the uniforms worn by the reception staff were very classical and refined; Room11 is a 24-hour public service room with internet access and free coffee; the paintings on the wall are also great! I liked our stay at the Augustine. Nice bed and nice pillows. The staff were friendly and wanted us to have a comfortable stay. I used the sauna and steam rooms that was quite good with the complimentary ginger tea. The hotel is central to most places the castle, the Charles bridge were all within walking distances. The negatives the breakfast is poor for a 5 star hotel and needs to be addressed quickly. We went to the breakfast room and the buffet was not great. We ordered from the menu not great too. It would also be lovely to have some biscuits in the room to go with the Nespresso coffee.

I was glad the hotel has an elevator. We had a nice room with a charming old fashioned look to it. It has two twin beds shoved together. Instead of blankets it has two comforters. It has a nice wooden, real desk, a wooden armoire and several wooden tables. The bathroom is all tiled and very roomy. It has a bathtub with a shower wand. The hotel provides an excellent breakfast buffet. There is quite a variety of foods to chose from. Seating is in several small rooms with a couple of tables in each. It was very nice. Even though there is a tram stop in front of the hotel we had Uber take us around. It was just a little more than taking the tram and dropped you off wherever you wanted. Unfortunately there are not any restaurants nearby.

If you like being a little bit away from the hustle, bustle and can appreciate 1920-1930's feel then this is for you. Staff were very polite and quick to greet us in our native language, we can both speak basic cezch however the staff were more than happy to communicate in English and made us feel very comfortable. We stayed for three nights, having booked two rooms. Excellent location, because the metro is just 50 meters from the hotel. The environment is clean and very spacious. In particular, the rooms, with large private bathrooms, are large, air-conditioned, moquettes and fridge bar. The environment is quiet. The only sin is the lack of heavy tents, so it filters light from outside in the morning. The staff were very friendly and helpful at the reception and breakfast room, which, in my view, could be improved in the variety and quality of the products.

The location was great. The castle/palace was just 10 minute walk up the hill. Down the hill was Charles bridge, which is a pedestrian bridge that connects to old and new Prague. The history of the hotel was great, but if you need space the room we were given won’t work. It was very cramped. Couldn’t stand up on one side of the room. No drawers to store lingerie. On the other hand The bathroom was wonderful. Plenty of hot water and good pressure. Oh we had to hunt for plugs and no USB ports. We’d stay again but ask for a room like the picture🙂

Just returned from a really enjoyable 4 night stay at the Golden Wheel Hotel. Situated on the very picturesque Nerudova Strana in a quiet area of the city, half way up hill (so beware anyone with mobility issues). 10 minute walk to the Charles Bridge and 5 minutes to the Castle.(at the top of the hill). This is a relatively small and wonderfully quaint hotel with not very many rooms. We (2 couples) were in the top floor of the hotel with rooms opposite to each other. Rooms 411 and 412. This was perfect for us. Plenty of storage space in the rooms, large bathrooms. Room 412 had stand alone shower and 411 had a bath with shower over it. A kettle with a selection of teas and coffee available in the rooms. TIP if you are like me and enjoy English black tea then bring your own tea bags and purchase milk in a supermarket. There is a small fridge to store drinks etc. Hairdryer also available along with travel size Shampoo, shower gel, cotton pads/buds and shower caps. Staff in the hotel are very friendly and helpful. We were able to get directions/travel route and purchase our tram tickets from reception. Breakfast was perfect for us. Selection of cereal, fruit, spreads. Croissants, bread/toast, pastries, scrambled egg, frankfurters, cold meats and cheese along with fruit juices and tea/coffee. Lactose free and almond milk were provided by hotel. Breakfast was 8am - 9.30 am. We stayed over St Valentines Day and there were two little loveheart boxes of chocolates left by the hotel in our rooms. Very nice touch♥️ Rooms were very warm but there is an air con system if you need it.

It was beyond my expectations, clean and spacious rooms with every comfort (if there were also a small refrigerator and a boiler, it would be excellent). Spacious bathroom with shower (my own had also hydromassage) shampoo, soap, courtesy chiabats and phon available. Super soft salviette. nice and available staff. Excellent soundproofing, no noise comes from outside. Breakfast is both sweet (broad, marmalades, butter, yogurt, cereals, milk, juices and various drinks) and salad. The area is very comfortable with nearby supermarket, bars, pubs and restaurants. With Tram 22 in less than half an hour you get to the center (also you do not get out of the hotel). Note that the view from the tram is beautiful ...s goes from the catall and the strange disease area). Most advisable for all age groups. Unique neo, to get to the hotel there is a stairs ramp ... nothing impossible, but with the baggage, better climb from the road that is little left at the corner of the supermarket)
