"Room facilities: Coming from a Park Hyatt standard, I was a bit disappointed. The materials used for the facilities felt quite ordinary, more like a 4-star hotel level, similar to Atour hotels, and definitely not up to super 5-star standards.
Value for money: For a 5-star hotel in Changsha, the value for money is considered high, which is probably due to its location and hotel positioning.
Breakfast: The breakfast was pretty good, with a rich variety. However, during the Chinese New Year, it was extremely crowded, and the service couldn't keep up. Eating felt like a battle, with many items frequently running out and not being refilled quickly enough.
WiFi: Connected very easily.
Bed: A 1.8-meter bed being listed as a 'large bed' on Ctrip is quite something. Logically, given the room's layout, why didn't they use a 2-meter king-size bed? For a 5-star hotel, this is quite unacceptable. The mattress comfort was decent, and the quality seemed high.
Restaurant: The ambiance was okay. The breakfast layout was a bit chaotic and not centralized; you had to walk quite a bit back and forth, which was inconvenient.
Hygiene: Overall, it was fine, and I didn't encounter any major issues. However, during breakfast, I later found a tiny insect in the cereal section. I'm not sure if it was from the ingredients or if it flew in. I didn't report it to the staff at the time because I was in a hurry to leave.
Room view: There was practically no view, just a window directly facing the highway below, nothing worth looking at.
Location and transportation: It can't compare to Park Hyatt, but it's relatively close to the airport and high-speed rail station, so transportation is quite convenient. The subway can take you directly from the high-speed rail station without even going outside; you can enter directly from the mall. There are also plenty of dining options nearby.
Service: Not bad. The front desk for check-in and check-out is on the sixth floor, but on the day I arrived, my room wasn't ready even at 6 PM, which was a bit disappointing.
The hotel's overall positioning is trendy and stylish, but honestly, it felt a bit too flashy. The lobby design resembled a KTV, even the scent was similar. All the designs were quite unconventional, not like the immersive and comfortable hotel image I usually associate with. I didn't particularly like it.
Room usage was acceptable, but the shower pressure was too low and not powerful enough, making for a very mediocre shower experience."
