Stayed 5 nights, the property is beautiful. Beaches and pools were lovely, along with the neighbouring lagoon (not part of the resort). Staff were generally friendly, with a few that were really rude, oddly dismissive, and pushy. Spanish came in really handy on multiple occasions. Our main issues with the resort:
1) Our room was extremely humid and smelled musty the whole time. We got used to it after a day but it was still a bad smell. We requested a dehumidifier on the second day and didn't get it until the day before we left. Once we received it, the dehumidifier ran for a bit and then turned off (nothing needed to be emptied) and we couldn't get it to turn on again. Now that we are home, all our clothes still smell musty even after washing.
2) My friend with a nut-allergy ordered the cannoli at the Dolce Vita restaurant and when we asked the waiter about the ingredients, he insisted that it was just cream inside. We noticed that there was another brown cream piped on the plate and upon tasting it, we noticed that there were nuts in it. Thankfully we tried it before my friend got to it, but we hope the waiters are more careful in the future. They always seem to ask about allergies when they seat us but nobody seems to care beyond that.
3) Dolce Vita and Blue Moon were not great. It took over an hour and a half to get our food and some of the food was terrible (duck foie, shrimp fettucine, panna cotta, etc.) Buffets (El Mercado and Pez Dama) and Sakura were all good.
