Les Lofts Dorchester - PAR les Lofts Vieux-Québec

This is a condo built from the old industrial buildings of Quebec City. The quality is very good. It was perfectly cleaned. There is no reception (the reception is in another building) which is a bit annoying on late arrivals (in that case, only one person works there, dealing with people, the phone etc.). In the building, you would meet from time to time the cleaning team, which is very nice and ready to help. This condo is properly equipped. There is nothing on the food side except salt and pepper so you have to go to the supermarkets nearby to get the basic items. The place is rather quiet. There are homeless around, that's true, but there are not aggressive at all. Many restaurants, bars, etc. are all around. The old city is not far, walking or using one of the many buses down the building. The view is nice. You can go up to the roof which has a few chairs and tables (really the minimum !) for a nice sunset. The bedroom could be too warm, as the a/c is in the living room, and it pulses the air through a tube in the bedroom (the curtains are black, so this doesn't help). The price per night may be high, ever higher than in some nice hotels (200 to 300 CAD + tax and more per night), but the condo gives space and you can cook. The laundry is at the 2nd floor (2.50CAD for washing, the same for drying). You have to find your products. So this is a good and nice place, maybe a bit expensive according to the season, the day. As this is a condo, there is no basics (e.g. spices, oil, a few tabs if you want to do your laundry etc.). You can ask for more towels if needed as there is no everyday cleaning: this is not a hotel. I was very satisfied of this condo, the team is nice, I had no problems during the 6 nights I stayed there. I think we could have a few more services for the price (compared to other branches using the same concept for instance).

The penthouse at Dorchester is very roomy , it was also very clean and well furnished kitchen wise + utensils nothing missing. I recommend this loft for its situation there are several restaurants up to three blocks away. The loft is a short walk to old Québec. If I may suggest several couples retired travel extensively and the Maître D’oeuvre should design some rooms for handicapped people.

Spacious bright apartments for a comfortable stay. Great location, not far from the old city. Supermarket, bakery, restaurants, bars and shops are around the corner. Well equipped kitchen for cooking meals. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

nice flat, very clean and stylish, convenient location, close to many stores and amenities. very silent as well, and fast internet connection. Beds were very comgfortable, but pillows were too fuffy.kitchen was also well equipped but there was nothing in the fridge when we arrived, not even coffee to make in the morning

We enjoyed staying at Les Lofts Dorchester. The space is comfortable with a clean, modern design. It had great amenities, including a well-stocked kitchen. It's in a great neighborhood with lots of shops and wonderful restaurants. It appears to be a somewhat gentrified neighborhood, but seems pretty safe. Old town is about a half-hour walk. The only downsides were ,our unit didn't have a dresser or shelves for clothes. We also had to get out of bed to turn off the lights in the bedroom. Both seem like easy fixes. We enjoyed our stay and would stay there again.

The fully stocked kitchen has no paper towels, cloth napkins, paper napkins or anything to wipe your hands and mouth on if you plan on eating in, which we did. Prepare to use your sleeves. We contacted the loft management and they responded promptly with a box of Kleenex. Not acceptable in my opinion. What full kitchen in history does not provide products for maintaining cleanliness. I can wash my dishes but not clean my hands or mouth while eating. Shame.

We had the top floor (6th) with a corner view - splendid. Very modern, clean, great kitchen, huge windows. Slept well in quiet bedroom with excellent bed (but no closet). Would happily go again. This is 300 East (GPS can make a mistake and take you to 300 West “Ouest”)

The apartment was exactly as shown in the photos. Easy check in. Clean and cozy. Would have given five stars but the bed made squeaky noises with every movement and made for a terrible night’s sleep.

It was sub standard for what I paid for. Too noisy due to constant traffics at nite.. i would not recommend to my friends and the staff there were cery unfriendly , i had to go out to find a washroom. There was none in the premises.
