"The staff are online and the hotel is a small boutique hotel. The breakfast is good and the location is very convenient. But there are two issues that cannot be avoided. First, the evening drinks and appetizers are only suitable for Europeans and Americans. They are a simple social time, and we think the happy hour in the executive lounge is two different concepts, so don’t have any expectations; second, the rooms are on the roadside. It's indeed noisy."
"The service is very good, and you can store your luggage. Although it is a shared bathroom, there are more than one shared bathrooms and toilets. There is a wash basin for your own use in the room. In addition, the shampoo, hand soap and other supplies are not messed up. They are relatively good products, but the fragrance is woody, and those who don't like woody fragrance may not be used to it. I personally like it so I think it's okay. The bathroom is also very clean, and the owner should take care of it more carefully. However, the single room is small and is only suitable for personal luggage."
"The décor of the rooms were excellent and the small touches - such as the music that plays when you walk into the room, and the small bar area, the art work, and the welcome book - were really special. The beds were comfortable, the rooms were quite, and the size of the room was prefect for two people. There is a sauna available to use by in-house guests, which is excellent after a long hike. Overall, the quality of the room was value for money.
There is also a restaurant, but sadly it was not open the day that we stayed (Monday). We were quite upset about that as we had read very good reviews about the chef and food quality! Whilst the staff were nice at check in, they did not give much information about the premises (i.e. they didn't give us a tour or anything), and we had to ask a lot of questions.
The location is outside of town, but a short drive if you have a car, or a short bus ride (the bus stop is right outside the hotel).
Overall, I would highly recommend to stay here!"

"I recently stayed at this hotel for a short trip while looking for a room with a lake view, easy access to the airport, and proximity to town. Overall, the hotel met my basic expectations, offering both comfort and convenience.
Pros:
- Spotless and well-maintained room.
- Room with two double beds was spacious and perfect for four adults.
- 24-hour reception for assistance at any time.
- Convenient access to public transport, with a bus stop (Bus 1) about an 8-minute walk away.
- Great dining options, including in-room dining and a restaurant with stunning views of the lake.
- Unobstructed, picturesque lake views from rooms on level 4.
- Courtyard with seating areas with beautiful views.
- Swimming pools.
Cons:
- The hotel is located on an uphill slope, which might be inconvenient for some who is not driving.
- No balcony to enjoy the view outdoors in room.
- No microwave in the room.
It offers a pleasant and comfortable stay. The beautiful lake views and great dining options make it worthwhile. I would definitely recommend it to family and friends!"
"Environment: The most important thing is the environment. It is right in the center of Queenstown. Open the window and you will see the largest lake.
Facilities: There is a small happy hour living room with many Chinese elements and a wide variety of wines.
Hygiene: Hygiene is okay, but water easily flows out of the bathing area
Service: The young lady who received me in Queenstown on the first day was very enthusiastic."
"The location of this hotel is very good. It is right in the center of the town and you can walk to the most beautiful shore in three minutes. Anyway, it's convenient to go anywhere. The only problem is that you may have to look for parking on the roadside. The hotel room is really big, and the equipment and speakers inside are very good. It's also close to a bar, so it's a bit noisy at night. Everything in the refrigerator is free except alcohol, and there are unlimited refills. For breakfast, it is beautifully prepared on site downstairs. I remember that the big breakfast was about 30 New Zealand dollars. It is worth commenting and worth staying at."
"Walked out onto the balcony and we were met with these stunning views.
The time that we visited (May) meant that it was slightly too cold to be out on the balcony for too long, but the views that we enjoyed out of the window were magnificent.
When the first arrived the lady on the front desk was very friendly, and helpful.
We had asked for a double bed and had been allocated two single beds. She quickly contacted the ladies from house keeping and they very kindly sprung into action to help rectify the situation.
The housekeeping staff were nice and pleasant, and the location was just right for us to get out and about visiting some of the local attractions like the Kiwi birdlife park.
The big plus about staying at the highview apartments was having a parking space. When you visit queenstown you'll soon find out that in some places finding a parking space is like gold dust."
"There seems to be a new building and an old building, and we stayed in the old building. It felt a little worn, but I think it had the best tableware and facilities. I didn't really understand how to use the TV in the room, but we could only watch one channel.
It's also about a 12-minute walk to the downtown area of the port. It's a convenient location. I was impressed by the smiling young lady at the front desk who tried her best to help us."
"There is no air con at all and the reception is only willing to provide one fan (our room has two beds placed in separate rooms). We tried opening the windows but a lot of mosquitoes and various bugs flew in, and you can kind of see the remnants of squashed bugs on the ceilings and walls. We had to sleep with the windows closed which made it quite hot as we went in the summer.
Despite this we do have good things to say about the room. The location is very convenient and close to the town centre, the room is clean and there are sufficient amenities. Not a bad stay for its price."
"This Holiday Park was very clean for us and a child. The facilities provided here exceed expectations where there is a place to cook.
A very strategic location with the town of Queenstown only walking distance to the beautiful lake.
The staff here are also very helpful by providing advice to us where we plan to go skiing and are advised to go early in the morning with the weather forecast being quite good in the morning at 10.00 am."

Great
ZZXJS6Great rooms with a beautiful view of the mountains! The receptionist was very kind from the first day, and the breakfast buffet was splendid too. I truly enjoyed my stay here, as a solo traveller, the place is perfect. A walking distance to the busstop, laundry with a dryer provided, and my room was next to the spa with the hot tubs so my day was pretty perfect!
GGuest UserIt locates 10 to 15 minutes from the centre of Queenstown. It was acceptable for me to have a walk next to the lake every day. The lake is amazing, you can see a wonderful sunset then go back to take rest. However, there may have some noise during night if your room is next to stair. Otherwise, it is a good choice for staying in Queenstown.
DDragan S**Great Stay with Stunning Views**
I had a fantastic stay at **La Quinta by Wyndham Remarkables Park Queenstown**. The hotel is modern, clean, and well-maintained, with spacious rooms that offer beautiful mountain views. The bed was very comfortable, and the in-room amenities, including a kitchenette and laundry facilities, were a great bonus.
The location is excellent—close to the airport, shops, and restaurants, yet quiet and peaceful. It’s also a convenient base for exploring Queenstown and the surrounding areas. The staff was friendly and helpful, making the stay even more enjoyable.
Overall, a great choice for a comfortable and convenient stay in Queenstown. Highly recommend!
KKLylo is a modern hotel that offers a clean and comfortable environment for travelers. The pods are spacious and cozy. The location is great — it’s within walking distance of popular tourist spots in Queenstown and is also close to the bus station and a supermarket.
Ssuper酷酷鴨Stayed here for two days in a row. The location is very good. I chose it because the introduction said there is free parking. Currently, this youth hostel has 3-4 parking spaces in front of the door, first come first served. Otherwise, you need to go to Hamilton Road to find one (which is often full). You need to bring your own shower gel and shampoo, which is not very convenient. Other than that, I can give it a very high score. The youth hostel has cooperation discount codes with some attractions, you can ask the front desk to get them. If you are traveling alone, I still recommend them.
JJon HaseoOverall our stay in Copthrone hotel is amazing! Thank you Copthorne team! You guys are awesome! We got the family deluxe room with lake view - got 2 king beds, stayed for 6 days 5 nights. And it’s spacious! The view is stunning and loving it! There’s a gym and spa pool (need to reserve beforehand) inside the hotel! And there some parking in the hotel, you can park behind suburbs st if the car park is full. The room is warm and I really like the bed, it’s not too soft and give 2 pillows per person. Also there’s laundry service using coins, you also can change it from the reception if you do not have any cash. Toilet is nice, also have great water pressure. It would be great if they can provide utensils and plates. We did some groceries but there’s no equipment to use. Definitely will return to this hotel if I come to Queenstown again.
MMatthew LimSwiss Belsuites was our favourite accommodation across the 9 accommodations we stayed during our holiday in New Zealand! We absolutely love how spacious the place is. Huge cooking space with a comfortable living room with a large L-shaped sofa made for many nights in to cook our own dinner, which was made even easier with the provision of two dishwashing machines and almost every cooking equipment/cutleries you may need. It is also the only accommodation where we got to enjoy using a smart TV where we could easily use our own subscription accounts (via scanning QR codes) to stream videos during our dinners. The bedroom is also really comfortable and the toilet was very clean as well. We also had our washing machine and dryer, which was really useful as we were in New Zealand for two weeks. The best part of our stay was the view of Lake Wakitipu which we could enjoy from our living room. Was such a great stay that we were so sad to check out at the end. Highly recommended!!
GGuest UserReally enjoyed our stay here. Room was clean, comfortable and quiet with everything we could have needed. Food from the restaurant was great (and pretty cheap!) and there was an impressive variety of options for breakfast. Incredible value considering the usual price of Queenstown accomodation; would absolutely stay again.
FFirew DemelashI had 3 night Copthorne Hotel and Resort
Queenstown Lakefront the room is clean and basic the bed comfortable l had a good sleep the room to big even had a good seating area coffee tea in the room TV had variety of choices however the bathroom that not that great they need to get rid of that bath basin I am not sure what is purpose? The shower curtain so cheap common if you charge your guests a top dollars you can afford a decent shower curtain it New Zealand not a 3rd world country. All the Wi-fi so terrible even basic email take time to download also what is deposit for if you don't have any minibar in the room? I think all those can improve a good management I had pizz one night taste good anyway this Queenstown accommodation always in short that way they don't care still a good place to crush a big hot two.
NNelA great experience for a female solo traveler. I
Pros
I shared a female dorm with three other women and had a great time getting to know those coming in and out. The shared bathroom was always clean (cleaned every day).
The communal kitchen is large and well-organised. You can make use of condiments that get left behind. As it was still cold, there are always fires burning both in reception and the common room. It makes the atmosphere very cosy.
The best service I got was from their information desk, which is located in the reception area. As I didn't have a credit card and businesses like Snowbiz in town don't accept cash, I was able to pay for ski passes and rental by making a booking at the service desk (they have a card machine and also accept cash).
Cons
This side of the hostel where my room was located, just experiences a lot of noise, as there are bars down below, despite the sliding door being sound-proof. Not all the reading lamps for each bed work and also need to be fixed. The shower leaked a lot of water, as the glass door doesn't properly close.
Overall though, a great stay and value for money. You do save on accommodation, as QT is an expensive town to visit.
