Domaine les Crayères

Beautiful château with free parking. Glass of champagne and petits fours upon arrival. We were in a cottage, just near the château, with a small and private garden, with 2 sun loungers. Wonderfully comfortable bedding and pillows (lots) , slippers, bathrobes, safe, Guerlain toiletteries, walk in wardrobe, one bathroom with bath tub and wash basins and another one with a walk-in shower bidet and toilet. Absolutely everything one could need to feel home from home, well, I certainly did, because the personnel was so friendly as well. High standards all around. Splendid garden and grounds to walk around. Spa to be ready for 2027 I was told. About 30 minute walk to the center. Perhaps a kettle and an espresso machine in the room would have been just perfect. And I did find that the portion of mushrooms and bacon was rather small at breakfast. But there was a lot of everything else one could want for breakfast. We were only there for one night on the way to elsewhere but should we go back to Reims, even though the price per night is expensive, we would definitely stay there again because I found the Royal Champagne hotel, not too far away and similar prices, too modern looking for me but we did have a lovely dinner there with friends, who were staying there, and enjoyed the beautiful scenery.

Wonderful Hotel! Beautiful first class accommodations. From the moment of check in when you are offered your first glass of champagne to check out, the service is impecable, friendly and professional. The breakfast was fantastic. Highly recommended!

From the friendly and professional welcome to the moment of departure everything was perfect. This is the epitome of everything a 5 start hotel should be. The bedroom was exceptional in quality, size and comfort. Champagne on the terrace on arrival; drinks after dinner in the bar - all very well done. And what a delight to be served a copious and varied breakfast - so much nicer than a self-serve buffet. You are absolutely spoiled at this unique property.

We have been coming to this lovely spot for years, going back to the time when it was owned by the Boyers. The changes that have been implemented since then have added another layer of enjoyment to a spot that was already a favorite. The rooms are lovely with many special touches. The welcome glass of champagne sets the tone for a pleasant visit. Food at the Brasserie is excellent and its patio a great place to enjoy an evening. The staff is professional and pleasant and eager to make your time with them memorable. We look forward to visiting again next year!

Exquisite in every single respect. Beautiful rooms, lovely staff, wonderful food (Le Jardin restaurant is good, Le Parc restaurant is sublime). Very relaxed: but it takes very good training and management to achieve that level of relaxed atmosphere. It is our 3rd visit and it will certainly not be our last!

We stayed here as a family of 5 (3 teenagers) in the Chateau. We had interconnecting rooms, kids had a big room with lots of space. Everything was beautiful. Hotel and staff are highly responsive through out the enquiry and booking process, ensuring that the kids would be next to us. Staff are very welcoming and made us feel at home. Wish we could have stayed longer and relaxed! Within walking distance to Veuve Clicquot.

This hotel fulfilled or exceeded every expectation. We stayed for two days with unfortunately dreary weather in late June. We arrived at the hotel prior to check in to facilitate lunch at Le Parc. Everything was flawless. We were led to the bar for check in formalities with champagne in hand. The waiters from Le Parc introduced the tasting menu options and wines, and we were then seated for a really magnificent lunch. Our room (28) was pleasant. The bedroom itself quite small, but the bathrooms lovely and light filled. It was traditional in style, but not dated, with an elegant blue and white oriental china theme. Of note, top floor rooms would have lower ceilings. Both restaurants on site are fabulous. The garden restaurant is exceptionally good value for a hotel restaurant. The hotel is ideally located for visits to champagne houses around Reims. Cliquot, Pommery and Ruinart all a short stroll. My two comments… For those coming off long haul flights and arriving prior to check in the hotel does not have facilities for showering or freshening up. This prompted us to change our whole flight booking for our lunch. Also, the breakfast lacked ambience. They need music in the dining room. Overall, breakfast food is of excellent quality, The continental offering is expansive. The hot food portions are tiny- an attempt to be tasteful, but it seems almost cheap (two cherry tomatoes… bacon is half a rasher cut up).

Spectacular setting, service and food. Our visit was a truly excellent experience. First impression is a real wow factor as the main building is truly stunning. All members of the team from arrival, to check in to valet to restaurants were professional, personable and charming. Dinner at le Jardin was memorable. Great food in a calm, sociable setting. We look forward to a second visit!
