"I stayed here a long time ago when it was under its previous name. This time, I booked two rooms. We stayed in a high-floor ocean view room. The accommodation was great with a good atmosphere, and everything was good except for one thing: the place is starting to show its age. The hallway floor was crumbling, making it easy to trip. We got a corner room, and the air conditioner compressor was quite noisy. The room walls were also quite old. The breakfast looked appealing for some items, but others, like the stir-fried dishes, looked unappetizing. Luckily, there was congee, noodles, and hot fried eggs and omelets. The front desk staff at check-in were good and very helpful. However, the staff at the car park entrance were inattentive; when I got out of the car and dragged my luggage towards them because my arm was injured and bandaged, they didn't pay any attention and were busy chatting among themselves. Overall, it was good enough."

"The overall atmosphere was good, but there was no toothbrush, even though it was listed as an amenity. When I asked about it, the staff seemed confused, despite it being on the list."

"The room was spacious which was great but had little tiny brown ants that bit me. Another bummer Bed was super hard like a rock , on my request though they put two toppers on it but toppers were also kinda hard but atleast ot helped me get some sleep but by second night my back and neck was sore from the hardness of the bed. One pool was working which was beautiful the second one was under construction . The breakfast was below average and i ordered lunch from that breezee restaurant on arrival as i was v hungry the grilled chicken came like a rubbery meat… i couldn’t believe that was resort’s food.. the chiken was horrible cant cut it and it jst had rubbery texture ( don’t know what was it) was v disappointed by the food there. But later there are alot of good food and healthy breakfast options outside the hotel like 300-500 meters away. So better enjoy nice meals there. I did like the seating area outside the resorts restaurant was pleasantly breezy and you can enjoy ocean view . For me the stay was 6 out of 10. If they can improve service like more warm and congenial reception at front desk and better food quality and more comfortable mattress and bug spray to get rid of ants in room( probably it was due to old wooden furniture that attracts those tiny brown ants easily) it can be a wonderful place to stay. Hope the hotel takes the suggestions in consideration."

"The location is convenient, right across from 21 Shopping Mall, and it's a ten-minute walk to the beach. Alternatively, you can take a tuk-tuk along Beach Road straight to Walking Street. The hotel has a large swimming pool that never feels crowded, even with many people. The breakfast buffet has a limited selection but is delicious. The entire hotel is designed in a Thai style with bungalow-style rooms, and only a few are two-story. There's lush greenery everywhere, perfect for spending an entire afternoon relaxing at the hotel. It's highly recommended for guests who enjoy peace and quiet."

"This is one of the oldest hotels in the city, and we absolutely love it. It maintains its charming national style, completely enveloped in lush greenery. The grounds are expansive and pleasant for walks. You can spot rare bird species like tree swifts and hoopoes. In the garden, water lilies bloom, fish swim, and a large turtle resides. The views are simply wonderful. Its location is excellent. While staying at the hotel, guests are right in the thick of the resort's action (the promenade, shops, restaurants, and attractions are nearby), yet at the same time, the hotel offers peace, quiet, and tranquility. The hotel is well-secured; the entrance gate to the hotel grounds (from the promenade) is opened with your room key card. The pools are very clean, and there are several. Two pools are accessible from the second floor, and the others from the fourth. The depths vary. There are pools for toddlers, deeper ones, and some that are 2 meters deep. There's also a pool with a bar and a jacuzzi. At the bar, happy hour is from 3 PM to 5 PM (buy one drink, get one free). They also make incredibly delicious pizza right there. Showers and toilets are available everywhere. In the rooms, the soundproofing is excellent, and the beds are the most comfortable we've ever experienced in any hotel. There's a selection of pillows, excellent linens, and a huge, soft duvet. A coffee machine and a clothes drying rack are provided! Beyond toothbrushes and razors, the toiletries include combs, nail files, cotton swabs and pads, and even a sewing kit. We stayed in a club room. Breakfast is served on the 9th floor. Everything is delicious. You can make your own pancakes using an automatic machine. The coffee is excellent. There's a wide selection of fruits, snacks, and vegetables. A spread of rolls and sushi is available. There's always jamón, smoked sausage, blue cheeses, classic cheeses, and two types of lightly salted trout. Hot dishes change daily. From 10 AM to 8 PM, you can enjoy tea, coffee, cookies, and dried fruits on the 8th floor. From 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM, themed mini-dinners with alcoholic beverages are held here. For example, on Wednesdays: Thai food. You can also send clothes for laundry, which is very convenient if you're continuing your journey instead of heading home. The hotel has a magnificent team of staff. The lovely ladies at the reception and in the club on the 8th floor are very welcoming and polite. A big thank you to them for their work and for making our vacation wonderful. I want to particularly commend the lifeguards. In the 2-meter-deep pool, a young man felt unwell. The lifeguard reacted instantly, immediately jumped into the pool, and pulled the person out. He provided all necessary assistance. We found no downsides to the hotel. One minor detail: if you are tall, you need to be careful on the balcony, as the railing is very low. My height is 170 cm, and the railing only reached my mid-thigh."

"I had a very good stay at Kokotel Pattaya South Beach. The room was clean and comfortable with good facilities. The swimming pool was nice and relaxing. Special thanks to Cindy from the staff — she was very friendly and helpful during our stay. The hotel location is quiet but still close to Walking Street and other attractions, which made traveling easy. Overall, a pleasant and comfortable experience. I would recommend this hotel to others visiting Pattaya."

"I'm so glad we found this hotel. Everything from start to finish was perfect! Beautiful rooms, stunning views, wonderful service, and delicious food. The afternoon snack bar with ice cream was a wonderful surprise!"

"Location is great, and so is the infrastructure. The beach is just across the road. They even offered early check-in. It's clean. You can easily crawl back to Walking Street from here after a night out."

"The hotel is clean and tidy, and the grounds are well-maintained. They even vacuum the bottom of the pool with a special machine every evening. There are slides for kids. The only thing is, there are signs everywhere saying you can't bring your own food and drinks to the pool area. But since we had bungalows with terraces, it wasn't a big deal for us. The kids drank water and soda by the pool and no one said anything. Breakfasts are good – they make eggs fresh for you, and there's a station with chicken soup and noodles, which are delicious. We booked two bungalows, one for my husband and me, and one for our two teenage daughters. The girls' bungalow had a door separating the main room from the large bathroom, but ours didn't – though if you're a long-married couple, it's not a big deal... There's a TV with YouTube, a good mattress and excellent pillows, crisp fresh linens. The rooms are clean and cozy, the air conditioning works well, there's varied lighting in the room, and the curtains block out light effectively – everything is comfortable. Pool towels are handed out at the bar shack in the middle of the pool area; you just need to sign in a logbook. There are squirrels, lots of different insects, and lizards on the property. In the pool bathroom, they have cut white cotton for drying hands, which is a nice touch. Just be aware that rooms don't come with toothbrushes, toothpaste, shaving kits, or bathrobes. They do provide rubber slippers for the pool and white ones for the room, as well as umbrellas and a safe. We went to breakfast at 9:30 AM and there were no empty dishes where food had run out – that's excellent. In the evenings, the lanterns around the property are lit and it's very beautiful. Overall, a very good impression! It's a bit far from the sea, but tolerable."

"The hotel is located in the city center, surrounded by lush greenery. It's lovely to sit on the terrace in the evening and enjoy the view. The room was quite spacious, but the lighting only came from one side, making the room pretty dark in the evenings. There were no bedside lamps. One evening, the power kept tripping specifically in our room, and we were moved to another at 6 AM. That one had neither lamps nor bedside tables. We just shrugged it off and managed without them for a couple of nights. The pool is warm and cleaned every evening. The sea is just across the road. You can leave your towels on the balcony if you want to head to the beach early in the morning. Breakfast was a standard buffet for a hotel."
