We had a great journey out to Rohdes with no delays and a swift transfer to the hotel. At this point the disappointments start. They claim to be a 5 star hotel. Firstly there is no one available to take your cases from the taxi/coach to the reception. Once checked in there is no one to take your bags to the room. Only a member of staff to walk you halfway to the annexe building beside the pool and say "you go this way". It probably took us another 10 minutes to find the lift and the room. Our booking clearly stated a pool view. We got a garden view. If it is what you can call a garden. Patches of dead grass, a disused tennis court and a patch of astro turf with a canopy next to piles of hard-core and holes in the ground where the yoga takes place. The guests refer to this area as "The Graveyard" Oh and twin beds not double beds. If you want a double they push them together and put a mattress topper on. So down to reception to ask about the room to be told they have no pool view rooms left and we would need to talk to our travel company as there is nothing they can or will do. Still 5 stars.... apparently! We head to the beach, we have a lady washing her dishes in the hotel shower on the beach which is a little weird for a 5 star resort!  The beach bar has no cold bottles of water available. In fact no bar has any cold water available. For cold bottles of water you have to go the the ice cream place or the coffee shop which no not open until 10am.... this involves a walk through the hotel bar, reception, the main resturant, the Italian and the wine restaurants and when you get there the water isn't actually cold most if the time, just room tempreture. No bars have any bottled water. Once the ice cream and coffee shop close... that's it, no more water! This is something that needs some serious attention! I asked at reception and all I got was "perhaps ask the resturant, they might let you have some water". Only might? Excuse us for wanting one of the main things that sustain life! The gastro wine vibes resturant is a nice setting, just a shame there is little time to enjoy it. We had three courses put in front of us and taken away within 31 minutes. We tried to hold out a little longer with another glass of wine or two but just felt as we were in the way as being asked if there was anything else we wanted every 2 minutes. The Italian Passage. We were looking forward to this. Quite surprised that pizza is only available lunchtime. The starters consist of 3 types of salad. The mains consist of the same pasta with something  different added to each, a sea bass dish, crispy chicken which was my choice and Lasagne, my partners choice. The chicken was basically chicken in breadcrumb deep fired, over fried intact making it tough and dry with a few potatoes drowning in olive oil and a table spoon of mushroom in a sauce. The lasagne was exactly that, lasagne and no more. No potatoes, no vegetables not even a drop of sauce. I was looking forwa

Very good! I have a lot of thoughts to share! We booked with Jet2, and the flight got us there at 9:30pm. Following the transfer we got to the Hotel at 10:30pm. Unfortunately no food, was available but that was to be expected and I wouldn't expect the hotel to have food available at that time. Room was very nice, came with some sort of alcoholic drink and some small pastry treat. The room was warm, comes with an AC. This made my eyes very itchy (maybe cause I have hayfever, or maybe it was drying my eyes out). Found that opening the door was a much better solution, didn't encounter any mosquitos but there was a sliding net door that I assume was to let air in but keep mosquitos out. We had a pool view room which is where the entertainment was, and going to say that evening entertainment ran until 11pm. Didn't bother us but if you are going to sleep before 11, you'll need to shut the door. We had twin beds but just pushed them next to each other and it wasn't an issue, just saved us a bit of money. Shower was nice but caught my foot in bottom of the glass shower curtain and started bleeding, so will have a nice scar from that. There's a tv that you cast your phone to, but most of the time you would disconnect or be unable to connect in the first place. Tv also had menus and information on various things. The tea and coffee in room didn't get filled up at all Cleaning people were great, there's an electronic do not disturb sign. Always gave fresh towels and made bed. Hotel staff were also very friendly Breakfast was nice! Didn't know what to expect! They had bacon (luke warm/cold but surprisingly good 7/10), fried egg, people making omelets for you. Most food would be different each day, some days you'd have onion rings, some hash browns, some potatoes things, egg white omelet thing, fruit that look like it came from an apple crumble. There was also some country sausage on occasion which looks weird but tastes good. There were pastries, mini pancakes, chocolate sauce, bread etc. If you're a picky eater like my girlfriend then it may get repetitive as there was alot of weird stuff But if you're looking for like an English breakfast kind of thing, then you can make a decent one. Or you can make a sandwich in some lovely bread if you wish. Breakfast 7.5/10 Lunch was good! Try some traditional gyros (pronounced yeeros). They have burgers, spag bol, chips, salad. Lots of stuff for you veggies as well. 8/10 Dinner was good, a few things from lunch were there. The pork on the first bit of the hot section was always lovely (9.5/10). Lots of good lamb and beef options. Girlfriend doesn't like chicken on the bone, so that was an issue. There was turkey one night, some pizza, casserole things, oven kebabs. Probably forgot alot. But plenty of options , not so many if you are into plain ish food. 9/10 Lots of deserts! 7.5/10 Italian had good pizza for lunch but dinner options were limited ( no pizza for dinner) If you get bored you can

The rooms and public areas are nice and clean. Pools look superb but freezing which is normal for Rhodes. I wouldn’t call this hotel 5 *. Understaffed in areas such as the bars and restaurants. Many of the staff didn’t appear to enjoy their jobs and some were just rude. Our room was very clean however the toiletries hadn’t been refilled . The shower gel and hair wash was completely empty. The tea/coffee was rarely replenished. We just took them from the restaurant ourselves. Our room in particular was right above the evenings entertainment. Ok it stops at 11.00 but the constant music drove me nuts. We had booked a garden view for this very reason knowing that entertainment is usually around the pool areas, we didn’t get it. I did ask to be moved after a few days which was obliged. The new room was tiny in comparison with nowhere except the bed to sit. No remote control for tv. When it did turn up the tv didn’t work anyway. I just couldn’t be bothered anymore. The buffet restaurant offers a reasonable choice everyday except you won’t get baked beans or HP sauce. They did eventually give my Husband beans and his HP sauce but he had to ask every day . It wasn’t available to other guests despite them asking for them. The food was generally luke warm. I had a quiet word with the chef . Who said it wasn’t cold it just wasn’t hot enough. Forget the Greek restaurant 2hrs for starter and main course. We left without a dessert as we were fed up of waiting. Only 2 staff for a full restaurant. The pizza restaurant is great huge portions. Wine bar restaurant was excellent. Drinks were certainly not premium brands at the bars. There was no pool table or table tennis as advertised. The table tennis table finally arrived 2 days before we left. The hotel is directly below the flight path and made conversation difficult until the aircraft passed over. You can almost wave at the pilot. What really spoilt our holiday was the fact that the hotel wanted to charge for food and drink after 12 on the day you leave. Bear in mind we didn’t arrive until midnight. No food but we could send out for a pizza at our cost. Even a stale sandwich may have done. To be fair Jet2 negotiated on our behalf and sorted the problem for us. However others weren’t so lucky. I’m sorry I have gone on and on but it just so many small things could have made a huge difference. Certainly won’t go back again.

We arrived at the Electra palace, check in was smooth and the receptionist was friendly and informative. Our room was bright and spotless however it lacked storage space ( missing shelf from the wardrobe) we did say to reception and it was fixed the following day, not what you’d expect from a 5 * hotel. Our bed was comfortable with a mixture of pillows available, we had clean towels every day and pool towels were available in the room. The hotel is spotless, this includes round the pool and pool toilets. The pool area is fantastic, sunbeds are plentiful. The standard of food was very good, definitely something for everyone available. ******* The hotel charge 80 euros to keep your room for a late checkout, at no point were we advised there is a courtesy room available for 20 minutes. There was also an issue for Jet2 guests where all inclusive ceased at 12pm on departure day, after a few complaints through the rep, the time was extended to 7pm. It was very difficult to get a soft drink in a large glass at the pool bar, When I asked why the lady asked “do you want it or not” it makes no sense Angelena and the older gentleman were both very good, There was a lady with a hoodie on who stood behind the bar everyday with her phone in her hand, regardless of how busy it is, she doesn’t help the bar staff. The manager can be seen walking round the hotel, but doesn’t acknowledge you in any way, this rubs off on some of the staff too! In our view the hotel is not 5* but a decent 4*

After a perfect holiday at the Electra Palace last year in August, we could not resist going back and seeing what they have done renovations wise. It did not disappoint, even better! The pool, pool bar, and entrainment were brilliant and massively improved, I really enjoyed the 60'/70's rock and toll band, please keto them gor next year!. The food, especially the Greek restaurant, was great. Big shout out to Anglina and Billy at the pool bar, who were great and nice to the children, who kept on asking for ice cubes. The new rooms were fab, double balcony great inside, and now if you want to chill, you can cast Netflicks for the kids. Look forward yo seeing what yhere might do this close season. We shall be back next October. My daughter says it'd her happy place this hotel, enough said. It was great you could ha e a toom for 40 minutes in the evening yo freshen up and shower before the flights back home. Thanks to everyone at the hotel for more great memories.

I had a massage today with Nicole Katerina, and it was an exceptional experience. Nicole's technique was impeccable; she was attentive to my specific needs and focused on areas where I felt the most tension. Her pressure was perfect, neither too soft nor too hard, and she consistently checked in to ensure my comfort throughout the session. Nicole's calming presence and professional demeanor made me feel completely at ease. She clearly has a deep understanding of body mechanics and therapeutic massage. By the end of the session, I felt rejuvenated and significantly less stressed. Nicole's skill and care truly made a difference in my day.

We’ve just come back from a week at this hotel, it was one of the best we’ve stayed at. All the staff were very friendly and attentive, from the restaurant to the bar staff and the restaurant staff. The food was excellent throughout our stay, much better than other all inclusive hotels. There was lots of choice and it was changed most lunch and dinners. The Italian restaurant was nice enough, but the dinner menu is quite limited which could be improved. The Greek restaurant was a great experience, and the food was gorgeous. The only negatives were that the same people reserved the sun loungers in the shade, and in the pool every day. Towels were often there for hours before being used, the hotel could do something about this. Also, it felt like the departments didn’t talk to each other. Our room had no body wash and a bad toilet stain upon check in, we asked reception to sort this the next day which did not happen. Alongside, one evening maintenance came into our room without us being informed prior. This was problematic as we were getting ready for dinner, and the door was wide open with numerous maintenance men inside so we could not get changed or use the bathroom. When we complained to reception, they said they hadn’t known maintenance was going on that evening so couldn’t warn us. These were small bad moments, but did not detract from a really lovely stay!

We arrived here due to our home bound flight back to the uk being cancelled at the last minute. The hotel is spacious, clean and the staff are very helpful/friendly. The food was fantastic. Our room was small and I would say very dated but I think that is because we were located in the older part of the hotel. My complaint is that whilst I was at the hotel I lost two gold rings, one was my grandmother’s wedding ring and the other a very sentimental ring give. To me by my parents for my 40th birthday with birth stones and inscribed. I contacted the hotel twice when we arrived home to ask them to check lost property and again this year and have had zero response! I explained how much these rings mean to me - I’m heartbroken, still nothing which I think is very poor. I.e they’ve had your custom and now don’t care! Really disappointed.
