Hotels near Church of St. Gerard in Rio de Janeiro

We stayed here for one night as we flew into Rio quite late. It’s perfect for one night stays if you have an early/late flight. The rooms are quite basic but clean and quiet, the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was ok and there are snacks and a few sandwiches for sale if you want something quick to eat. The infinity pool is lovely. The hotel is a few minutes walk from Terminal 2, but it’s easier to catch the free shuttle bus. It goes every 20 minutes from Porte D on the upper floor of Terminal 2. A taxi into the city costs about 30 US dollars and can take ages because the traffic is often very bad.

I only hosted one night, I arrived after midnight tired and yet we had a quick and professional Nico care that, in addition to paying full attention, was super patient, because I had a difficulty to find my document and the same waited without staying I was quick, and good people, as they say in my land; I found the room a little tight, but for one night it does not get too fast.

I found Ibis New America by chance on Google trying to find some place in Rio de Janeiro to go to Rock In Rio. I booked the time for the best value. I didn't think it would be such a perfect location for the event! Besides being a meeting point, the site's infrastructure is excellent, offered a coffee with numerous delicious options and completely responded to what we needed. I would like to congratulate especially the receptionist Lucas who has done a wonderful service and has done everything possible to keep us from losing the transport!

I've been here in B&B North Shopping several times and I've always had some small problems from In to Out. But today 04/05 I was surprised by the team that attended me. 3 people smile, sympathetic, performing, with a wonderful humor and careful to what the guest asks.Today I have experienced the true experience that the B&B Network offers in all its hotels. I want to congratulate Priscila, Rafaela and (I'm sorry if you're wrong with the name), Kath. Vcs make the difference!!!! Know that it's this type of professionals that the market requires in this new phase. Congratulations the unit. So every time I'm in the North Zone, I choose vcs.

I was pleasantly surprised at our accommodation here. We booked for a day-stay between our cruise and our late evening flight out of Rio. Service was excellent, accommodation likewise. I could find nothing negative about this place and would recommend it without hesitation.

The hotel has a good structure. Near the pharmacy, laundry, conveniences. I found the restaurant as the highest point. Good price and excellent food quality. Wonderful swimming pool. Good game room. Very beautiful view of the cover. The weak point is the parking, a little dark, nor a pleasant smell, difficult to get in and out.

Stayed here due to the hotel being so close to Rio’s Bus Terminal. Our room was spacious, the bed was very comfy and dinner wasn’t bad either. Has a really nice rooftop pool with great views of downtown Rio. Good value for money! There’s not much outside the hotel but it’s a good hotel for stopping on your way through Rio or to catch and early Bus.

I would like to thank the receptionist Carol, who provided me a fantastic stay and still gave me a birthday mimo! She is a show, she deserves all the success of the world. Thank you for preparing the mimo and the entire management and maintenance team, which keeps the hotel a bright. Note 10!

Only breakfast leaves to be desired; The coffee staff is very careless , not paying attention to restore what will end ... - Then they end up the cuttings, and they will take a long rest. I stayed in the hotel for the commitment I had because it was close. As it was one night only, I chose to book. The room was very dirty, sabble paper open in the pier, all dirty. 2 towels, 1 was acceptable and the other was completely swept and damaged. I put it on the floor because I had no courage to use it. The bed is horrible and noisy, and the dressers too. Have you seen a short shirt? Yes, it was so much to cover up to half the body and thinnerly impossible. I had nothing but that shirt to cover. Summary: I didn't sleep anything, super discomfortable. It's all about all the rooms, bad clothing. Coffee is half mouth, but in any case I've seen worse. The only positive point is that the reception official called ”D”. When we arrived at the hotel, we were surprised by the information that the system was out of the air and would take a little, then the same offered us 2 courtesy drinks for the event. The only thing I liked at the hotel, but you're only reserved in the last case if you don't want to get angry.
