Sanya Hotels with Wi-Fi

As always Sunshine Resort in Sanya is like a home always from home...but with better cooking :) From the warm welcome from Vanessa at the front desk...to all the cleaners, wait staff and pool staff..you are treated as a valued visitor. It is great to see the extra loung chairs at the pool and on the property above the beach and chairs and umbrellas on the beach...well done. A big benefit is the newly developed bosrdwalk that goes the entire lenght of the beach with plenty of food and drink. Also....although I do not have kids here..they always have entertainment on the holidays for the young ones. I will always return the the special...”Sunshine” in Sanya

There were definitely some positives and negatives about this hotel. First off, I will say the staff was very friendly. They would greet you with a smile wherever they saw you on property. I ate dinner at the poolside restaurant a few times and I enjoyed my food as well. Some negatives were that the hallway itself smelt moldy and nasty. Could be due to the carpeting, which was in bad condition, or all the old wood decor or a combo of both. My room smelt the same. The shower smelt like urine and some of the wood in the bathroom was rotting. I guess due to continuous exposure to water. I also didn’t like the fact that there was little accessibility for a stroller. Maybe I didn’t see it, but, to get down to the pool and most of the restaurants I only saw a staircase which was inconvenient to take my baby around. I did like the fact that it was right across the road from the beach, but, also somewhat far from the airport. Another positive is that they had a nice play area for the kids. My baby loved playing there. Everyone is different. Maybe you will enjoy this hotel. That is just a bit of my honest review.

This Pullman is the cleanest hotel of all the 5* resorts around Sanya Bay. We tried 5. If u care about western standards and pay attention to smaller things (leaking water, weird noises, furniture falling apart, decayed facilities, clean swimming pool etc etc, then trust me, you want to stay here, rather than the other resorts in the close proximity. It’s worth the couple extra $ you pay. And no, im not a paid shill, we are a couple who traveled to Sanya on our China trip. The next real 5* we saw is in the Yalong Bay area (we stayed there too - Sheraton and Marriott, each 2 nights)… But around Sanya, this is your best bet. Hope we helped. Have fun.

Great stay. We booked 2 similar rooms but got a free upgrade for one of the rooms. The villa was awesome but the pool access room was also really nice, both had very easy and quick access to the beach and the staff was always kind and fast in helping us. From the stay to the buffet dinner and breakfast to the way the staff dealt with us made it a chill and relaxing trip. There were a bunch of activities we didn’t even get to do and still had lots of fun!

Had a great time. Front desk and Housekeeping were very accommodating with our frivolous request. Breakfast is mostly Chinese but timing is vast and lasts till 10:30 AM. They have many swimming pools and the beach is accessible between 6:00 to 23:00 Hrs. Beware of the sea currents on the beach. Overall a very satisfying stay.

We recently stayed at a villa in Sanya through Trip.com and also experienced the wonderful hospitality of The Palace Resort Yalong Bay Sanya. From the moment we arrived, Bill, a staff member at the resort, added us on WeChat and provided outstanding service throughout our stay. He was incredibly helpful and made everything so easy for us. While January was a bit chilly, we only used the Villa pool on the first day. However, the resort has a hot jacuzzi by the pool in Villa, which was perfect for the cooler weather. We simply messaged Bill on WeChat, and he promptly ensured we had access to it, which was a great touch. The resort’s location is excellent, with Yalong Bay beach just a short distance away, making it very convenient. If you’re traveling with kids under 10 years old, the free indoor play center within the resort is a fantastic feature. Our children had an amazing time there, and it added so much value to our stay. Overall, we are extremely satisfied with our experience and highly recommend this resort. The combination of beautiful surroundings, family-friendly amenities, and exceptional service from staff like Bill made our trip truly memorable. We can’t wait to visit again! The hotel is outdated and old. The fridge was broken, the shower door leaked. Great video and breakfast was very good but this hotel needs remodeling for sure.

The first thing that attracted me to this hotel was the affordable prices compared to other nearby luxury hotels. It was definitely one of the better deals, and you get a very satisfactory stay in return. Everyone was very welcoming and helpful, including the front desk staff, bellhops, bartender, cleaning staff, waiters, and various other encountered staff (knowing a little Chinese helps). A staff member kept in contact with me through Wechat with its built-in translation tool, answering any questions, helping with any request, and making sure each day remained a satisfactory experience. I would like to give a special compliment to Zoey, the front desk staff member who was of great assistance; she deserves a promotion! Also, praise to the friendly and hardworking cleaning lady that is assigned to building 3, floor 5 (I don't know her name); she also deserves a bonus! The room itself is cozy, comfortable, and clean. Room service is smooth, it is very convenient to take care of any living necessities, and the pools and beach are a short walk away. There are no complaints that I have in regard to my stay. My biggest highlight is definitely the big bathtub! My only suggestion would be a single foldable lounge chair for the balcony, allowing for a person to lay down outside or for sunbathing, so it is not needed to always go to the public sunbathing areas.

We have been at different hotels in Sanya during the last years but since the time we discovered Marriot Sanya Yalong Bay we were so delighted and since that time we always come back. This time during national holidays it was not the exception on how a fabulous time we have spent during our 4 days stay. All the hotel maintenance is great, we love to spend the day between ocean and pool area and for that Fish bar restaurant is a spot we like a lot, around 6 PM q couple of great foreign singers play some amazing covers. Marriot Yalong Bay never disappoints us!! The hotel is located in a tranquil bay where there are very few people. There are practically no waves in this bay even in bad weather. This allows you to swim without any problems. At the same time, you can get to the city center, markets, or shopping centers from the hotel by a very cheap taxi (from about 15 yuan) in 10-15 minutes. Or you can go out and have lunch or dinner in local cafes nearby. The hotel territory is large, where you can calmly walk and admire the views. There is a swimming pool and a cafe where you can eat and enjoy cocktails. Breakfast is organized as a buffet with a variety of dishes, where everyone can choose what they need. The rooms are very clean (cleaned twice daily) and have everything you need for a comfortable stay - robes, towels, toothbrushes, toothpaste, and much more. The hotel staff is very friendly and always ready to help.
