"I booked this hotel through Trip.com right before the Dragon Boat Festival for 393 yuan per night. After checking in, I found the room facilities and everything else to be mostly good. On the evening of my arrival, I received a welcome gift of yogurt and some snacks. I used my Trip.com points to redeem breakfast. The breakfast spread was extensive, but mostly consisted of carbs, with relatively fewer protein options (though there were fried eggs, shredded lamb tripe, and bacon; and some stir-fried meat slices in the vegetable dishes). The hotel has a swimming pool, and I had high hopes for it, but the actual experience was quite poor: the pool on the sixth floor didn't provide towels or slippers, and the pool itself had an unpleasant odor (like a sewage backup). Even more absurd, the shower rooms in the changing rooms didn't even have body wash or shampoo. It was, frankly, ridiculous."

"Facilities: Excellent, no problem. Disposable kettles are wasteful; I suggest using kettles that are universally accepted nationwide. A complimentary breakfast was provided. Room upgrade: 99 yuan. Service: Attentive and warm, polite, and quick to fix the TV. Environment: Large and convenient parking lot, with green slow charging available. Price: 1.2 yuan per unit. The biggest problem is the hotel name isn't prominent; the characters ”56” are too small to see while driving, almost causing me to miss the entrance. The ”Shangpin Hotel” sign, on the other hand, is very eye-catching. I wonder what the owner was thinking? It would be best to put up a ”Yi 56 Hotel” sign before the car entrance. Extending one more night, today I visited the Qinghai Provincial Museum and Art Museum. Tomorrow I'll head back to Chongqing."

"Our overall stay was fantastic! The location is superb, with easy access to transportation, dining, and shopping. The front desk staff were incredibly warm and efficient during check-in, and they patiently answered all our questions. Our room was spotlessly clean, with no strange odors, and the bedding was soft and comfortable, ensuring a truly restful sleep. All the in-room amenities were in perfect working order, and the hot water supply was consistently good, making for a pleasant bathroom experience. The building's soundproofing was excellent, so we weren't disturbed during our rest. The common areas were tidy and well-maintained, creating a comfortable atmosphere. Considering the great value for money, we'll definitely choose this place again for our future travels."

"The hotel's location is excellent, close to many attractions. The Xinqian Night Market, a street bustling with food, drinks, and entertainment, is only about 400 meters away. It's also very near Nanguan Street, which has a distinct ethnic charm and plenty of delicious food. The Serta mattress in the room was fantastic – very supportive for the back and incredibly comfortable. The Peter Thomas Roth toiletries also smelled great. The front desk service was superb; they were always ready to answer questions and fulfill any requests. Breakfast was delicious and varied, with a wide selection. The management was very welcoming and even personally asked if we enjoyed the breakfast! Highly recommended!"

"I had a good experience in this hotel. It was previously booked by my tour and we extended our stay as our train to Lhasa was at 11pm. The staff were courteous and frequently checked in with us to check if everything is satisfactory. I was impressed by staff Jinjin (津津) as she noted that we were headed to the railway station and arranged a complimentary transfer for my family. Overall, I had a great stay and would recommend this hotel to friends and family visiting Xining in future."

"The hotel I booked on Limeng Road was excellent, with a very nice environment and a great location. If it's difficult to get a taxi from the train station, you can take bus number 2 to stop one of the bus lines. It's a 100-meter walk from the Xining Bathhouse stop. Very convenient. It's also very convenient to get to Mojia Street and the Dongguan Grand Mosque. Breakfast was on the 13th floor and was delicious."

"The room offered a great view and was very clean, especially the beautiful night scenery. The service was excellent; the staff cleaned the room meticulously every day, even wiping my luggage, folding my clothes, and washing my socks. They also provided face masks due to the dry weather and left thoughtful notes. The location was convenient for dining and getting around. Overall, it was a fantastic stay, and I would definitely come back."

"The hotel's location is incredibly convenient, with easy access to shopping and dining. It's right next to a Wanda Plaza. The rooms and facilities are new, clean, and hygienic. It's especially quiet at night, allowing for a good night's sleep, so I, who have trouble sleeping, decided to extend my stay. Parking is on the street downstairs, and because we arrived late and couldn't find a spot, the owner came down twice to help, moving his own car for us. The owner and front desk staff were very kind. 👍 There's also a large convenience store on the first floor with a full range of daily necessities. The beef and lamb in Xining are amazing! Before leaving, we bought some, and the owner kindly froze it in the hotel's freezer for us to take home the next day. We were very grateful. Speaking of food, there's a night market downstairs that stays open very late. We arrived late that day and ate there. We found a small shop called ”Harbin Mala Tang” and ordered clay pot rice noodles and Mala Tang, both of which were delicious and inexpensive. My daughter said it was better than Zhang Liang's. While eating, we heard a story: a delivery guy accidentally spilled some food while delivering to their shop, so he went back and bought a replacement to compensate the customer. The owner of this small mala tang (spicy hot pot) shop told the delivery driver, ”If this happens again, just tell me. I can forgo the money the shop makes, saving you a few yuan. You only earn so little in this sweltering heat...” Wishing this little shop booming business! I think Xining must be a warm city, where we encounter one heartwarming scene after another. This was just a brief stopover, but I'll definitely make a special trip back next time..."
