From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I was embraced by a warm and comfortable atmosphere. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and handled my check-in efficiently and patiently. They even proactively informed me about the hotel's facilities and provided tips for exploring the surrounding area – impeccable attention to detail! The room was spotlessly clean, and the bedding was soft and gentle on the skin. I fell asleep instantly, which perfectly relieved my travel fatigue. The facilities were excellent; the air conditioning heated and cooled quickly, and there was plenty of hot water with stable temperature. "Yangshuo Seasons Cloud Residence | Soaking in the pool with karst mountains as a backdrop 🥰 On my fourth day in Guilin, I checked into a landscape painting in Yangshuo that needed no filters 🌿. I actually changed my Guilin itinerary to a ”chill-out vacation” just for this hotel – the Seasons Cloud Residence truly has the saying ”Guilin's scenery is the best under heaven, but Yangshuo's is even better” literally framed outside its windows! I was immediately stunned by the beauty upon arrival: Opening the door revealed a combo punch of 'karst mountains + a vast lawn + a swimming pool'. Looking down, there's the crystal-clear pool on the room's terrace; looking up, the blue sky enveloped in clouds drifts towards the mountain peaks, and even the wind carries the scent of osmanthus! I booked a suite with a private pool. Sitting in the pool with a drink at sunset, as the distant mountains blurred into warm orange hues, I finally understood the meaning of ”mountains as screens, water as curtains”! Reasons why I didn't want to leave after checking in: ✅ The room is a ”mobile observation deck.” Warm, minimalist decor + an extra-large terrace. The pool directly faces the mountain view (swimming and watching the clouds drift by is incredibly therapeutic), and the living room is perfect for lounging with friends over tea or drinks. The amenities are so complete it felt like moving my home into the heart of nature. ✅ The public areas are more photogenic than actual scenic spots. The ground-floor pool features a marble pattern, framing the landscape like a painting! In the morning, when the sunlight hits the water, it turns so blue it looks like the sky has been crumbled into it. People asked if my original photos were from the internet! The hotel restaurant offers local dishes, and if you don't feel like moving, food delivery is also quick, as it's only a few kilometers from town. The most amazing part is being able to ”embrace Yangshuo without leaving the hotel”: Next to it are the Ten-Mile Gallery, Yulong River, and the Impression Sanjie Liu show, but I spent two days at the hotel— Soaking in the pool gazing at mountains, lounging on the terrace basking in the sun, counting clouds from the bathtub… This relaxed feeling of having the mountains and rivers as your backdrop is a unique romance only found in Yangshuo! Trust me! When you come to Guilin, don't just rush through attractions. "Mochi Luxury River View Resort (Xingping Ancient Town, Yangshuo) This hotel boasts a fantastic location right next to the pier. It's just a few minutes' walk to the scenic spot featured on the 20 RMB banknote, and Xingping Ancient Town is a mere 3-5 minute stroll away. Chaobanshan Pier is also incredibly close; you can reach it quickly by electric shuttle, which is super convenient! The round-trip boat ride from Xingping Chaobanshan Pier to Nine-Horse Fresco Hill is a must-do. This route covers the most picturesque section of the Li River, including the famous landscape from the 20 RMB banknote and the Nine-Horse Fresco Hill itself. A one-way journey takes about 50 minutes. Our room was very comfortable, clean, and tidy. The best part? From the balcony, we could even see the iconic landscape featured on the 20 RMB banknote – absolutely stunning! The proprietress was incredibly thoughtful and even specially prepared breakfast for us! We were all extremely satisfied and would definitely love to come back again!"

"The location was perfect, peaceful but still close to everything. Our room (601, 6th floor) was beautiful, with a ceiling window you could open, a huge bathtub, and even a projector for cozy movie nights. Everything was super clean and very comfortable. There is an elevator in the hotel (goes to 5th floor). The staff were amazing, so kind, helpful, and friendly! They gave us detailed recommendations for local spots, helped us order coffee, and even arranged a scooter rental. Their care and attention made our stay feel personal and warm. There’s also a small swimming pool, perfect for a quick refresh after exploring. The breakfast was quite simple and mostly the same every day, but that wasn’t a problem. Overall, it’s a wonderful place with fantastic staff. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Yangshuo, we would definitely love to come back!"

It's also very close to the bamboo raft pier, which saved us a lot of time. The room was equipped with a full set of convenient Xiaomi smart home devices, and it was clean, hygienic, and quiet. If you want to experience the lively atmosphere of West Street, it's just a 10-minute taxi ride, allowing you to avoid the noise and get some good rest. The hotel staff were incredibly thoughtful and meticulous, providing excellent advice from check-in to transportation and tour arrangements. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay. If our itinerary hadn't been so tight, we would have loved to stay a few more days to truly soak in the tranquility of the mountains and rivers."

"Since I'd never been to Guilin before, I decided to do some serious research for my trip back home this time. But the sheer amount of information online was overwhelming. When I was booking a hotel, I noticed this B&B in Xingping Ancient Town had exceptionally high reviews, almost no negative ones. What really sold me was that many people mentioned the owner helps plan itineraries, so I booked a 4-night stay without hesitation. The result exceeded my expectations; the facilities and services at Yunshanggu were excellent, and the room layout was sensible and clean. The three-day itinerary planned by the owner, Kitty, turned out to be fantastic and perfectly suited our tastes. Especially climbing the mountain behind the property and riding electric bikes to Xindong to watch the sunset over Nine-Horse Mural Hill – these were off-the-beaten-path routes that avoided crowds and were full of delightful surprises. Huge thanks to all the staff at Yunshanggu; their discreet yet ever-present thoughtfulness and service allowed us to truly relax and enjoy our vacation."

"The room was very spacious, and the bathtub was huge (it took about an hour to fill!). Everything was spotless. The receptionist was incredibly nice and provided very attentive service! Worried about food hygiene in Yangshuo after reading many reviews about people getting sick, we decided to try the hotel's restaurant upon arrival. The sweet and sour pork was absolutely delicious! Seriously, the chef (the 'auntie' in the kitchen) deserves a five-star rating for her cooking! We only ventured out for dinner once during our stay, to try a 'luo si bao' (snail hotpot) on our first night; all our other meals were enjoyed right at the hotel. We rented an electric scooter from the hotel for 40 RMB per day, and cruising through the Ten-Mile Gallery on it was absolutely delightful! The outdoor pool was also sparkling clean! Since it was off-peak season, there was hardly anyone around, so we had the entire pool to ourselves for a relaxing swim! Even though the hotel is located down an unpaved alley, taxis can still drop you off right at the entrance! Overall, we were extremely satisfied with our stay!"

Waking up to a sea of clouds rolling by, there's no need to even leave to find a viewpoint. The sunset from the rooftop terrace is absolutely stunning; guests quietly sit there, with only the click of camera shutters and gasps of admiration. ✅ Pleasant surprises: The Guilin rice noodles for breakfast were so delicious I drank all the soup, and the complimentary sweet soup each evening was different every day.
