Scenic Hotels in Paris

"Barebones hotel for those who want to travel on a budget but don't want to stay in hostels/share a room with others. Comes with a bed, bathroom, small desk, TV and small closet. There's stuff like ~5 hangers, a hair dryers etc. but they also lack some basics like toiletries (you only have a 2-in-1 shampoo and shower gel; no toothbrush, shaving kit, etc.) and slippers. Service was adequate and 24/7 so that's a plus."

The breakfast was delicious, and food was replenished quickly, although the variety was a bit limited. 4. The hotel is only a 2-minute walk from the metro station, and there’s an escalator, which is convenient when carrying large luggage. 5. Although the room was small, the layout was practical. 6. Unfortunately, the shower area only had a half glass door, so water splashed out easily and made the floor very slippery—this issue significantly affected the overall impression."

"Hygiene: It was alright, the bathroom was very small but had everything you needed, so it was clean. Facilities: It was so small you could barely turn around, and a suitcase could only just about open fully. Service: You had to leave your key at the front desk when you went out, and the elevator would be full with just one person and two suitcases. The location was actually quite good. There's a supermarket right outside to the left, and a nice breakfast cafe a bit further down. The area also felt very safe."

"We stayed at this hotel for two nights, and it was the perfect base for our time in Paris! The Location & Vibe: The location is absolutely fantastic. It is situated right next to a beautiful, lively, and vibrant canal area. It was amazing to be able to take evening strolls, enjoy a drink by the water, and easily walk right back to our hotel. Superb Connectivity: Moving around the city was an absolute breeze because the metro station is literally right outside the hotel doors. You cannot get more convenient than this! The Neighborhood: The surrounding area has a wonderful local energy. Right across the street, there is a McDonald's (perfect for a quick bite), and the neighborhood is packed with lovely shops where you can easily grab a morning coffee or something fresh to eat to start your day. The Room & Stay: Our room was clean, cozy, and provided everything you need for a classic Parisian stay—a comfortable retreat that lets you fully enjoy the beauty and energy of the area. Overall, it was a wonderful experience. A huge thank you to the staff for their hospitality! We highly recommend it for anyone looking for a lively and well-connected stay in Paris."

"Facilities: The room was exactly as pictured, quite small. There was barely enough space to open one suitcase, and definitely no room for two. However, the bathroom was surprisingly spacious, especially compared to the room itself. There's a tiny elevator that can only fit one person and one suitcase at a time. Environment: The soundproofing wasn't great, but honestly, I feel like many buildings in Paris have similar soundproofing issues. After a long day of sightseeing, I was so exhausted I'd just crash and sleep, so I didn't really notice any noise. The hotel's location is fantastic; public transport and dining options are incredibly convenient, which is a big plus. Cleanliness: The cleanliness was much better than I expected. I honestly thought it would be a bit dirty and had low expectations, but it turned out to be quite decent. Service: The gentleman at the front desk was very friendly. On a side note, the hotel breakfast was genuinely very good! All the bread was delicious, the yogurt was tasty, and the coffee was even better. To be honest, we stayed at two hotels in Paris, and the baguette and croissants at the other 4-star global chain hotel weren't as good as this small hotel's breakfast, and neither was the coffee. This unexpectedly delicious breakfast really added a lot of points to my overall impression of this hotel!"

"The room is super small but understandable since it’s in Paris after all. Walkable to Gare L’Est side entrance, but there are no escalators going down, so if you have luggage, you may have to bring them down manually depending on your strengths haha. There’s only small bar soap and 2 small shampoo & conditioner given, but there are coffee and tea sachets in the rooms. No mineral water is given. The drawback was the hotel’s soundproofing, which was nonexistent. You can hear the sound of the train, people’s conversations, etc., from level one. We woke up to the first train coming at 5:32 a.m."

"This hotel is part of the Palais des Congrès de Paris complex, and it's one of the few high-rise buildings in the city. From my 8th-floor room facing south, I could see both the Eiffel Tower and the Arc de Triomphe. Getting to the metro is super convenient; you can walk directly through the convention center, which is a huge plus in often rainy Paris. The breakfast was incredibly rich, offering rice, omelets, stir-fried vegetables, and over five kinds of fruit, plus hazelnut chocolate. The room was quite spacious by Parisian standards. Just a heads-up, Montmartre Hill, as shown in some photos, isn't actually visible – I had to stick my phone out the window to capture it. Now, a special warning about the taxis right outside the hotel. They are dishonest, so be careful. Taxis from Charles de Gaulle Airport to central Paris have a fixed zone-based fare: 65 euros for the Left Bank and 56 euros for the Right Bank. If you order a taxi via an app or phone, there's an additional 4-euro booking fee. We took a taxi from the hotel, which is on the Right Bank. The concierge confirmed the fixed fare would be 56 euros. However, after hailing a taxi right outside, the driver tried to charge us 65 euros (the Left Bank rate) plus a 4-euro booking fee upon arrival at the airport. After a lengthy argument, and even calling the hotel, the driver finally charged 56 euros plus the 4-euro booking fee. So, even after arguing, we still ended up paying the extra booking fee. "I think it's the best hotel in Paris. Wonderful area, spacious rooms, everything is new and beautiful and the price is low, I think it's temporary. The only thing is that the staff takes a long time before arrival"

It also feels quite safe, and the metro station is very close – it's right at the last stop of Metro Line 12. This means you're not too far from anywhere; most popular attractions are reachable within 30 minutes. The room was cleaned daily and very thoroughly, which is a big plus. The bed was also quite comfortable. However, it's an economy hotel, so there are no slippers or toiletries provided; you'll need to bring your own. One point that isn't really a flaw of the room itself, since the size is clearly stated, but it's something to consider: the room is incredibly small. Even after mentally preparing for it, you'll likely still find it tiny upon arrival. Essentially, you can't do much in the room besides sleeping. The soundproofing isn't great. You can hear cleaning staff in neighboring rooms in the early morning, but it's not noisy at night, so it's generally quiet. Overall, if the price is right, it's a perfectly acceptable place to stay. It's a simple, straightforward hotel for travelers, and you won't have any complaints about the facilities or cleanliness. However, it's not worth staying if the price is significantly inflated."

"Booked a standard twin room, and it seems I got an upgrade, though all the rooms are the same size. What's really convenient about this hotel is that it's right above a subway station, making getting around super easy. Just a heads-up to everyone: hold onto your phones tightly on the subway! Ours got stolen – seriously, be extra careful! Across from the hotel, there's a Japanese restaurant and a French restaurant, both with good food."
