"We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights with our child. On the downside, there was a slight sewage smell in the room. When housekeeping came to clean, we asked them to come back in 10 minutes, but they only showed up 2 hours later when our child was asleep. The room itself was clean and had everything we needed. The staff were friendly and responsive. We were particularly impressed with the play area, the clean swimming pool, the restaurant with its wide (and delicious!) selection of dishes, and the room with a PlayStation, billiards, and foosball. There's also a gym. It's an excellent option for families with children, and they've also thought of everything for guests with pets. We left very satisfied!"

The room was spotless, the pool was great, and the overall experience exceeded my expectations. The only issue was that our room door wouldn’t lock properly with the key, which should definitely be fixed. Aside from that, everything else was excellent. I’d happily stay here again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, budget-friendly place with a nice pool."

"The shower water was inconsistent, alternating between hot and cold, and the temperature couldn't be adjusted. It was also extremely hot, making it easy to get scalded. "Great value for money – you get a star-rated hotel experience at an affordable price. Its convenient location, close to bus stops for Kata and Karon beaches, and within walking distance to the Naka Weekend Market, were all reasons I extended my stay. The hotel is well-equipped with facilities like a restaurant, cafe, and gym. The swimming pool is located on a skybridge between two buildings, and it's not too deep, making it perfect for families with kids. "I stayed at The Beach Heights Resort for 3 days and 2 nights and found it to be excellent value for money. The room was spacious, clean, and equipped with all the basic amenities, along with a large balcony. The hotel also offers good facilities, including a swimming pool, gym, and kids' room. The location is very convenient, with Kata Night Market, 7-Eleven, KFC, laundry services, massage shops, salons, and many restaurants all within walking distance. Overall, it was a comfortable and enjoyable stay, and I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the Kata area."

"We were concerned about some bad reviews we had seen and were therefore pleasantly surprised when we arrived. The rooms were beautiful on the ground floor with a balcony area overlooking the pool. We had a wonderful massage and were treated very well. The hotel was quiet most of the time meaning we had the pool to ourselves most of the time. Staff were extremely kind and helpful . I would highly recommend this hotel."

"Our room was on the 4th floor, and the duvet was slightly damp. There was a faint, almost unnoticeable musty smell when we first entered, but it disappeared after a short while. I don't think the room felt old; some minor wear on the corners was negligible – you're not staring at the corners anyway. Overall, the room was quite clean; we didn't see any bugs or ants, probably because we were on the 4th floor. The mirror faced the bed, but I didn't mind; I wouldn't even know some people find this an issue if I hadn't read other reviews. We brought a water filter, but the hotel's water came out clean and colorless. Our filter would turn yellowish after about 2 days, but subsequent daily changes kept it mostly clear. My family even brushed their teeth directly with tap water, and we had no issues. The hotel environment was also excellent, giving a real vacation vibe. The kids loved the pool, and there were taps right by the poolside for rinsing feet and showering, which was very convenient. We could easily wash off sand from our feet after coming back from the beach. Breakfast was indeed quite 'Western' (or 'white people food'), and after two meals, we weren't keen on it anymore, so we ate breakfast out for the rest of our stay. There's a 7-Eleven to the left of the hotel entrance and a 'You & Me' laundromat next to it. If you turn right out of the hotel, then left at the intersection and walk a bit, you'll find 'Hungry Corner,' a restaurant we ate at for five days because it was delicious. Some other restaurants near the hotel weren't great, so I recommend checking Google ratings. The hotel staff were all very nice. For the price, I think this hotel offers excellent value for money."

"As many have noted, the location is very good; almost everything is within walking distance, including the market and Big C. The beach is about a 5-minute walk away. There's a decent-sized, clean swimming pool on the roof. The shower has excellent water pressure, and there are no issues with hot water. The staff are friendly and always ready to help and respond quickly if anything unexpected happens."

"The hotel's location is pretty good, right in the lively area of Nai Yang Beach, close to the national park side. You step right out the door onto the beach. There are plenty of supermarkets and snack stalls nearby, though Nai Yang Beach is really just for relaxing – there's not much else to see or do. The hotel itself is full of greenery, which is quite beautiful, and it has several swimming pools. My room had a balcony right overlooking a pool. As for the facilities, they're just okay, but the bedding was clean. I think if you choose this hotel, you should opt for a slightly more expensive room type; the cheaper ones are in buildings further from the main pool area, and both the room type and the view will be a bit less desirable. I found the bathroom door opening inwards to be impractical, and their cleaning service wasn't great – the floor was still dirty every day with quite a lot of sand and mud. There were absolutely no Chinese guests at the hotel; 99% were Russian. The staff's attitude towards Chinese guests was quite indifferent, in my opinion. I stayed for three days, and while there wasn't overt discrimination, not a single person smiled at me, whereas they were very enthusiastic with the Russians. The hotel is really close to the airport, a 5-minute drive."
