For my Sanya vacation this time, I stayed at the Banyan Tree Sanya for two nights. Although it was my second stay, the scenery, dining, and service here are still top-notch, making it perfect for a quiet getaway. The villa was comfortable and private, with its own pool, so I could take a dip anytime. In the early morning, before the sun got too strong, I enjoyed a stroll along the beach with a pleasant breeze. In the evenings, I preferred sitting on the outdoor lounge chair in my room, enjoying the surprisingly dry mountain breeze – unlike the usual humid stickiness often found in Sanya. Just sitting there, doing nothing, was incredibly enjoyable. The hotel's dining was also excellent. Local specialties like Hainanese noodles and Hou'an noodles were very authentic, and the freshly squeezed juices, fruits, and pastries were all of good quality. I was very satisfied with the food during my stay. The entire resort only has a few dozen villas, and the landscaping and housekeeping are meticulously maintained. The environment is quiet, and there are plenty of service staff. Special thanks to my butler, Henry He, who was incredibly responsive and efficient throughout my stay, providing professional and thoughtful service.

It was a fantastic experience, thanks to our butler, Kaylee, for taking such great care of us. Since we were traveling during the off-season, Kaylee reached out a few days beforehand to understand our needs. Upon arrival, our room was ready immediately, and she even upgraded us to a one-bedroom suite, which was perfect as I could get some work done after our child went to sleep. The experience was truly excellent. Kaylee was incredibly responsive to all our requests and even brought us many delicious treats. We had ordered a lot of JD.com packages in advance, and after checking in, we contacted her and they were delivered to our room very quickly. Although the hotel has been around for a while, it's very clean. I even saw staff meticulously cleaning crevices in the outdoor public areas with small brushes – truly impressive attention to detail. The lobby is incredibly grand; it makes you say 'wow' as soon as you step out of the car. It's very family-friendly, with a children's section in the restaurant that our little one loved. The family pool has a shallow area, and there's even a bubble party in the evenings. The pool is well-stocked with plenty of swim rings, so you don't need to bring your own if you're not particular. As for dining, the underwater restaurant was fascinating, with large fish and turtles often swimming by. The hotel's Tianfu restaurant was absolutely delicious – hands down the best meal we had during our 5 days in Hainan! 😂

The hotel felt like it was hidden in a tropical rainforest, with lush greenery everywhere. I often saw staff dedicated to maintaining the plants. The pool room was large and very clean; it was quite a walk inside the room! The high ceilings made the room feel grand. The bed was enormous, big enough for two people to spread out completely at night. The room came with a good variety of pool floats, and our butler even helped us get a flamingo float. The pool water was flowing and at a comfortable temperature, so we could swim late into the night. It was very clean. Our room was in the north building, which made accessing the shuttle and breakfast very convenient. It was a bit further from where we picked up takeout, but that wasn't an issue. The main building's gym had a good selection of equipment, and I was pleasantly surprised to find an arcade room. Breakfast offered a wide variety of choices and had ample opening hours. The public pool was perfect for families with children, featuring slides and other amenities, plus a bubble bath. The adult pool was large, ideal for swimming laps. There was a beach bar, horses, and beautiful scenery by the sea. A major highlight of our stay was the excellent service from our butler, Dora. She was incredibly diligent, responsible, and attentive to our needs, and her responses were always prompt. Overall, the staff provided gentle, appropriate, and polite service.

From the moment we checked in, I knew we had made the right choice. The front desk staff thoughtfully explained the location of the children's playground and the restaurant layout within the resort, and reminded us of safety precautions for playing by the sea. The complimentary children's step stool, bed rail, and toiletries saved us a lot of hassle. The pool was a must-do activity every day. The children's pool is heated, and there was a bubble party at 3 PM. My child stayed in the water for almost an hour, chasing bubbles and not wanting to get out. The paddle boats were free, which was a huge plus. We rotated between the indoor children's playground and fun craft classes, and also took the free mini-train several times. Dinner was a buffet at the beachfront restaurant, and the performance was fantastic; the kids kept clapping. Overall, the family-friendly amenities at Sheraton Sanya Haitang Bay are really competitive for this price range. The facilities are abundant, activities are rich, and service is responsive. Our butler was very helpful during our stay, always accommodating our requests.

This hotel was originally just a one-night stopover, but the overall facilities, lounge, and room type turned out to be a pleasant surprise. In China, you probably won't find a JW Marriott at this price again. The hotel is located on a rocky beach in Dadonghai, without sand, but offering a different experience: mudflats foraging and swimming in the sea (there's a recessed, shallow area on the rocky beach in front of the hotel that's safer at low tide). The overall sea view isn't bad at all; one side offers a view of the curved Dadonghai beach, while the other faces the lighthouse. The hotel facilities are quite comprehensive, with a long family pool and a shallow children's pool. Armbands and full-body swimming life jackets are provided free of charge, and there are even cylindrical holders for shoes. There are numerous lifeguards, strategically placed so that every blind spot of one lifeguard is covered by another. This is completely different from the setup at other five-star hotels in Sanya, and the pool closes at 10 PM, which received unanimous praise from my family. The outdoor open-air children's playground is similar; for younger children, the playground staff will even follow behind to supervise, truly demonstrating JW's high standards. We booked an executive sea-view room in the East Wing, a room type that directly faces the sunrise over Rabbit Tail Ridge. Plus, it has a huge balcony, instantly eliminating any feeling of a small room. Since we only stayed for one day, we couldn't experience many of the dining options. However, seeing the hotel selling egg pancakes for 15 RMB and refreshing Qingshubiang for 20 RMB, I immediately felt that the prices were accessible to the general public. The executive lounge's food could only be described as average Marriott quality (I suspect this might be due to the hotel's price point), but it's one of the few resort hotels that even has an executive lounge. The breakfast experience was excellent, with stewed soups, JW noodles, numerous egg preparations, fermented grain vinegar, sour noodles, Hou'an noodles, and various fresh juices. Among the three hotels we stayed at in Sanya, this was the lowest-priced hotel, yet it had the highest breakfast standards. The service was excellent overall. Whether it was the lounge attendant helping us with a last-minute room change (and getting us a room with a large balcony), or the front desk staff running out to find the mini-train because my child wanted to ride it when it was almost closing time, or the proactive luggage service and reminders from our butler Una, it all truly met the high standards of a luxury five-star hotel! Some suggestions: 1. The open space on the large balcony could really benefit from some decorations and lounge chairs; I think it would enhance the resort feel. 2. Stronger signage is needed from the East Wing to the West Wing breakfast area. It's quite hard to find since you have to take an elevator. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay. Aside from the lack of a sandy beach, this is a high-standard, high-value-for-money resort hotel!

The villa room type is excellent, highly recommended for a private vacation ⛱️. Our butler Lucy provided attentive service (¯▽¯)👍. I strongly recommend the infinity pool villa 🌴. It feels so close to the sky, and even if you can't swim, it's absolutely fine to just relax by the pool and sunbathe – a sunbathing enthusiast's dream! Breakfast in the villa area can be ordered à la carte; the abalone congee is fresh and delicious, and the Qingbuliang (coconut milk dessert) is authentic and tasty. The privacy and vacation vibe are both top-notch. The experience was truly great and worth a special trip. I'll definitely choose this place again when I come to Sanya next time!

Overall, I'm very satisfied! A big thank you to our butler, Hellen, for the thoughtful service. She always responded to messages immediately, solved problems promptly, and was incredibly accommodating. I was a bit worried after reading some reviews, but after experiencing it myself, while the hotel's hardware might show some age given how long it's been open, the service was truly excellent and lives up to the brand's reputation! The experience was fantastic! The breakfast offered a wide variety of food and was very plentiful. I've never seen a hotel serve breakfast until 11:30 AM, which was perfect for us late risers. It made for a wonderfully relaxed day. Thank you! The hotel's parking lot was also spacious with plenty of spots, making it ideal for those traveling by car. We truly enjoyed a relaxing vacation, and I would definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Sanya.

After looking at several hotels in Yalong Bay, I chose the Mangrove Tree Resort for its relatively good value for money. I had seen quite a few negative reviews on Xiaohongshu and other apps, but it seems every hotel has them, so I came prepared. As an older hotel, the room types and facilities are a bit dated, but I found it acceptable upon arrival. We arrived late, and the front desk upgraded our room. Overall, the experience was decent. There were plenty of loungers on the beach, and it was quite comfortable whether swimming in the sea or just relaxing in a chair and enjoying the view. Breakfast was unremarkable, despite seemingly having a wide variety. The Thai restaurant that's often recommended online isn't really worth it, but if you can't find anything else good, you might give it a try. The staff were very good and always tried their best to resolve any issues. Also, there are indeed a lot of Russians here. I especially loved the little elephant made from towels on the bed. 🥰

After reading many reviews, I chose this hotel, and my overall experience was excellent. The front desk staff, other employees, and the concierge were all warm, thoughtful, and incredibly responsive to every request. The hotel is clean and tidy, the bedding is comfortable, and the breakfast spread is rich. It's also convenient to order food delivery. The front desk gave me a high-floor room with a fantastic view; I could see the sea right from the window. On a clear day, I could even catch a stunning sunset from the balcony. Evening strolls by the sea were lovely, with the sea breeze and the sound of the waves being very therapeutic. For my vacation next year, I'll definitely be back to this hotel to relax by the sea.

We planned two days in Haitang Bay during our Sanya trip. Initially, we booked a hotel-style apartment near Atlantis Waterpark, which had high online ratings. However, as soon as we checked in, we were shocked by how old and outdated the facilities were. We negotiated with the hotel, paid a 30% cancellation fee, and checked out. Afterward, we rebooked at the Wanda Realm Resort, and both my daughter and I were pleasantly surprised: 1. The facilities were incredibly new, and the hotel lobby was grand. 2. The service was excellent. 3. The location was superb; the beach was just a short walk away. 4. The hotel had a full range of recreational facilities. The pool water was very clean, and there was a foam party in the afternoon. In the evening, there were plenty of activities, including a lawn movie and a bonfire party. My child had an absolutely fantastic time, and both of us felt it was incredibly worthwhile. The hotel also has a Hainan Li Village restaurant, which has a beautiful ambiance, reasonable prices, and, most importantly, delicious food! I highly recommend this hotel! It’s the best one I've stayed at in Sanya~
