It's right in the heart of Seoul, within walking distance of the vibrant Dongdaemun Design Plaza, shopping centers, and many local restaurants. This made exploring the city incredibly convenient. **Rooms The room I stayed in was spacious and well-maintained. The bed was comfortable, and the amenities provided were sufficient for a comfortable stay. The only minor drawback was that the decor felt a bit dated compared to some newer hotels. Dining The hotel's dining options were decent, but I found myself venturing out to nearby restaurants for most meals, as Seoul offers an incredible variety of culinary experience. RAMADA BY WYNDHAM SEOUL DONGDAEMUN offers a comfortable and convenient stay in one of Seoul's most vibrant neighborhoods. While it may not have the flashiest amenities, the excellent location and friendly staff make it a solid choice for travelers looking to explore the city. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Seoul, especially if you value a central location and attentive service.

Fuss-free check in with friendly service. The hotel room and adjoint toilet were clean and comfortable. The hotel does not provide many services but it was good enough for solo travellers who spend most time outside exploring. Would recommend!

Good location, nearby to a few train stations so I can choose to alight at different stops depending on where I came from. Amenities like soap, toothpaste, toothbrush, towels provided, as per stated in the listing. Common pantry at level 1 can be used, which has hot water, coffee, cutlery, microwave. Comfortable and recommended to stay.

Location: First of all, it was located in front of the bar of Chungmuro Station, so the accessibility was very good! As soon as I got off the station, it was easy to find because it was right there, and it was easy to move to the subway. In addition, there are many food nearby, so I ordered it to be delivered in the evening. At night, I went out with my friends and played in my favorite bar. 🍻 Room interior, cleanliness: First of all, the room stayed in a room for three people, but it was wider than I thought, so three people went to sleep. It was enough, very neat and clean. There was also a table, so it was easy to eat, and it was okay to bring a laptop and see the work! The bathroom is clean and Netflix is available (you need to use your own ID). There is a washing machine, induction, and sink, so you can cook and wash! (I haven't used it, but,) it was just new and tidy because the bathroom was just built. Is it a little unusual that the sink is on the outside? It wasn't uncomfortable, but it wasn't as noisy as Hongdae or Sinchon. It was nice to be quiet at night, not like a noisy downtown area, but because of its good accessibility and location, it was convenient to use public transportation and places to eat or cafes around. It was nice to have a lot! I stayed with my friends, but I think it would be suitable if you are looking for a place to stay for long-distance business trips or business purposes.. !

Overall the Oriens Hotel and Residences was a great value for it allowed the family an area to return to relax for another day of sight seeing. It is spacious and ample room to unwind compared to a standard hotel. The hotel’s location is decent and the railway system is close. The rooms were clean and even heated flooring so great on a cold night. A little learning on how to turn on the hot water system which is as needed system that takes about 5 to 10 minutes to heat up. A dining room table with 4 chairs and all the cups, plates and silverware plus dish soap. Pluses are the kitchen with a full refrigerator, Microwave oven, bottle water provided, stove, oven/toaster, dishwasher and the clothes washer and dryer as a single unit. Great for college dorms and retirement unit. Another plus is that the front desk staff even loaned a transformer unit so you can charge your electronic devices- ie phone. Breakfast was available for an additional charge. We did not eat at the hotel and ventured out to the local restaurants. Check in and checkout was very efficient. Would consider staying here again.

Liked almost everything except the quality of bath towels. The location is supereb, near to subway stations, also walking distance to Insadong and Mendon. The room is big and clean, bathroom is a bit small, but OK) for us. We took breakfast, which was not bad, but we would like some bakery to have with coffee. The only dissapointing thing was the quality of bath towels, they were grey instead of being white. And it's not about the color, it's about being used for so long that washing machine can't help.

Located in the vibrant Mapo district, the hotel offered easy access to popular attractions and public transportation. Upon arrival, I was greeted by the friendly and efficient staff at the reception desk. The check-in process was smooth, and the staff members were helpful in providing information about the hotel amenities and local area. They were also accommodating in fulfilling my room preferences and ensuring a pleasant stay. The room I stayed in was clean, well-appointed, and thoughtfully designed. The bed was comfortable, and the linens were of good quality, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The room featured modern amenities such as a flat-screen TV, a mini-fridge, and a safe for securing valuables. The complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi was reliable and allowed me to stay connected throughout my stay.

It’s a bit pricey but it’s worth to stay however I want to comment a few things like to point it out. 1. Front desk workers are almost no manners, they seem to not have any idea how to greet people, they never say any word like thank you, may I help you? , how may I assist you? Next customer please, what’s your car license plate number? Anything I can help you? How was your stay in our hotel? I’m sorry I don’t understand etc.. I believe not they didn’t want to say something in English, they seemed to not educated people neither they were lacking in English conversation. Don’t expect any common western manners from them. That’s why I rated them “poor” in the service category. I hope they will improve their service quality next time I see them. Thanks for reading my review.

Overall it was a decent stay at the GM JS boutique especially for the price. Service and amenities were standard - staff were polite & hotel room had the basic amenities you need…there’s extra charge of 1000 KRW if you use the toiletries though, ie shampoo, toothbrush, etc… One thing we noticed when we entered though was the smoke smell, perhaps it had something to do with ventilation or pipes.. it was gone the day after. It was also quite dusty so our all allergies were definitely triggered for the first few days… it would be great if the room could be cleaner as well, there were some blotches on the wall/cabinet. In terms of location, it’s near a lot of restaurants, convenience stores, bus & subway station, which was good. If you’re planning on going around tourist areas, ie Hongdae, Myeongdong, Gangnam, area, the location is quite far though. When we tried to take taxis back to our accommodation, some refused as they say they don’t plan to go that far… Size of the room was quite good, spacious enough for 2 people and open up your luggage. There’s a study table with chair and a small coffee table with chair. Bed was quite comfortable. Bathroom was also spacious with a smart toilet (seat is also heated) & bidet. Would recommend this hotel for a budget friendly one & good for the price!
