Excellent location-5mins walking distance to Yu Yuan豫园, 3mins to nearest MRT Station (Yuyuan Station), Family Mart. 10mins walk to the Bund. 2 stations away to Nanjing Pedestrian Street. Room- Excellent design, huge room with seperate toilet(automation toiletbowl) and shower with bathtub, dressing table, big wardrobe to hang coats and big space to put luggages. Spacious Living area. Minibar is free and replenish everyday. Service- Front desk Lily and others staffs are helpful and friendly. All my request were fullfilled. House keeper aunty name 覃爱元 is so nice and polite , she always keep our room clean and tidy! Breakfast-Alot of variety, chinese and western. Coffee is good! Hotel Interior- New , Classy and elegant! Awards winning hotel.

The overall feeling is pretty good. After all, given the price, it turns out to be some kind of hotel in Deutsche. It must have been renovated in cooperation with Huazhu? The exterior and the interior of the lobby feel quite new, and the rooms are quite big. After all, land is very valuable in Shanghai, and it is very close to the Bund. There is a ferry station across the road, a bus station at the door, double-decker buses, and the subway. The station is not very close. You still have to walk for a while to get out of Yuyuan Station. There is a little brother at the door to help carry your luggage. The room is generally okay. The bathroom feels like it's not a young hotel. The washbasin has a smell and can be yellowed, but there are no other problems. The slippers seem to be of average quality. I feel they are not in line with the hotel's positioning. The inner layer will stick 😂 The set meal for the advance tour did not include breakfast, so I didn't go to the restaurant. The service was still very warm, and baked cookies were given as a gift when I checked in. Biscuit, although the floor is high, the elevator is also very fast. Overall, I am satisfied. There is a small episode when checking out, but it is not a big problem. If there are activities and suitable prices, local dogs will still stay there again. See you again when we are destined.

Overall a disappointing experience for several reasons. I’m not one who usually writes negative reviews or makes lists of issues when I stay at hotels, but there were a few that were difficult to ignore: 1. I stayed on Christmas Eve because we were having the hotel’s brunch the next day. I thought I would have a nice, relaxing morning to wake up and get ready, but instead was awoken to construction work out in the hallway—drilling and hammering that were incredibly loud. Furthermore, the whole room was then filled with the STRONGEST, AWFUL smell of burning plastic that I had ever smelt. Because none of the windows in the room could open, I had to suffer through the smell and try to ready as quickly as possible…not a pleasant way to wake up! 2. The bathroom just wasn’t clean. There were urine and possible blood stains on the toilet seat and floor that I had to wipe away when I first arrived to the room. Cleaning services should do a better job to check the toilet surfaces when cleaning. 3. It’s December and the middle of a cold snap in Shanghai, but for some reason the room was unbearably hot and stuffy. I turned off the heating and even tried to turn on the cold AC but the temperature remained the same. It was difficult to sleep because of how hot and sweaty I was. The windows couldn’t be opened so I couldn’t even get a fresh breeze…

It was perfect in every way. I was thinking about Fairmont and Waldorf and chose Waldorf. Choosing Waldorf was really the best choice. It was hard to enter and exit Fairmont because there were so many tourists. Foreigners like me definitely recommend going to Waldorf. And make sure to upgrade to the riverside view room. You can see the best view of Waitan lying down in bed. And Steven Diep! You made our trip perfect. I will not forget your service and kindness. Thank you.

Location of the hotel was great, it was near the attraction areas. The view from the hotel was wonderful we could see both the bund and the river ! The hotel breakfast was scrumptious there was wide selection of different cuisines. The interior of the hotel was high technology, clean and very comfortable and relaxing ! I noticed there is a small red spot stained on e bathroom floor (not sure what is that, it looked likes blood stain to me). However, on e last night, it was quite warm, I think there is no access of airconditioners during winter season. Other than that, room is really huge and with impressive Oriental Pearl Tower Views! The location is perfect with Yuyuan garden & Cheng Huan Temple located behind, food amenities and shopping street. Sightseeing bus also nearby the hotel to bring me around the bund & famous attraction spots. Subway also a short walking distance from the hotel. Family mart just below only! Price worthwhile overall!

Although it was fully booked that day, they have managed to keep the housekeeping process quick to allow us in for a good rest. Will definitely be my top pick in next visit.

The hotel is in a good location, about 3-5 minutes' walk from the Bund and about 3-5 minutes from Yuyuan subway station, which is very convenient. There are many places to eat around the hotel. The hotel room is large and clean, and the cleaning lady is very responsible. The guy and girl at the front desk were also very enthusiastic. However, the location of the room this time was not very good. It was next to the work room. You could hear the sound too late or too early, which affected your rest. Overall, it is quite good.

Same goes for the bund, if you enjoy walking you'll be there in 15 minutes. Quite convenient if you're traveling. Rooms are ok and packed with what's needed for a trip, comfortable clean beds, shower with shampoo and body soap, towels, water. It's not a super fancy hotel but it does the work. Breakfast is mostly Chinese style. I'd stay here again, it's worth it.

What location is not easy to find, my daughter's customer service is still the location and pictures sent by the boss, and she quickly found the place, and the attitude is very good. One of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. Service was 10/10. All the staff were super friendly & helpful from the bellboy, receptionists, housekeeping, maintenance person. Breakfast was great, staff even allowed us to takeaway when one of us couldn't go down for breakfast. Free usage of the laundry room. Once we couldn't get a taxi when we were out of the hotel, I texted one of the staff to assist and he was super helpful. Special thanks to Mr Edward & Mr Chao for your excellent service. There is a small shopping mall right across the bridge that has nice restaurants with reasonable prices and delicious food. The train station is quite a distance so I had to take taxis to go places since it's winter & pretty cold. The staff doesn't speak English so be prepared if you don't speak Chinese. It was a memorable first visit to Shanghai.

The best thing about this particular Atour Hotel is its proximity to the Bund, which is literarily a stone's throw away with a nearby Family Mart that is well-stocked with travel essentials and snacks. Nanjing Road is also within walking distance. As such, this Hotel is not the most spacious one especially if you have a bigger family, as its bedroom fits one big and one small bed just nice and its wash basin has to be in the doorway. One suggestion is to provide 3 towels instead of 2 for a family of 3. The breakfast is expectantly scrumptious with agood mix of protein and vegetables, however its coffee can be better as the current one is a bit too bland, as compared to Atour in other cities. Otherwise, the stay is ”Atourly” perfect.

We used to always love staying at the Indigo, but haven’t stayed since covid… We were disappointed as the hotel is starting to look a little tired, things need replacing, breakfast had much less choice than previously available. None the less we booked into the Micheline Char Restaurant for New Years Eve dinner with friends looking forward to a great meal and drinks to celebrate the Year … (the food was great) however at 9:30 we were told we had to leave by 10pm after such an expensive meal and wine it seems ridiculous on any night let alone New Years Eve.. The swimming pool was closed and it wasn’t mentioned until we turned up in our swimsuits to have a swim. It didn’t ruin the stay but I don’t think we’ll be rushing back..

Stayed two nights in a row! It feels good, comparable to Huazhu Hotel, and the reception staff on the fourth floor are also very attentive!
