Second stay after very pleasant one two weeks ago, but slightly disappointed with a few things broken down in the room including the blue tooth speaker resulting in changing to another room which was a little hassle. Although nothing is perfect, but in a very competitive hospitality industry, the consistency of customers’ satisfaction maintains guests’ loyalty. Comparing with other hotels, Puli still stands out as a service oriented hotel. The amenities do look a bit tired and need to be taken care of or upgraded soon.

A lovely hotel with a rich historical ambiance, and the room size was amazing, exceeding my expectations. The ground-floor restaurant was very convenient, but there are several restaurants and pubs nearby offering plenty of alternative options. However, I decided to try the traditional Shanghai cuisine in the hotel and had a meal there. The food tasted good, although it was a bit pricey. The surrounding area was pleasant, perfect for a relaxing stroll that kept me in a pleasant mood.

I have stayed in this hotel before when it was the Hilton. It was good then, and it is good even now. It used the home tennis stars during the Tennis Masters tournament in Shanghai. The location is the best part of this hotel. and easy access to Metro stations, the neighboring roads Julu Lu Changle Lu and Fumin Lu are buzzing with activity on weekend nights with their endless bars and restaurants! a great place to chill out, and I did just that. I got upgraded to a fantastic room with a view of Jingan Temple!

Another great stay at the Swissotel! As always a great welcome and greeting by the night manager Jason. His associate, Jack is also always kind and very helpful with anything that I may need. Always so inviting, caring and makes me feel like a family member when I stay. The hotel is decorated nicely for Chris**as and has a nice holiday feel. The building is very special, it’s obviously got character but well the inside is very dated, some of the fixtures are not very well detailed for example the shower has some screws coming off and well it’s an old building so it’s understandable, the breakfast was good so was the coffee but half of the staff was friendly and half was a bit careless. It was a good experience.

It’s great to be able to live in Julu Road and experience the ocean room. It’s quiet in the middle of noisy, and I can go to *** for a run in the morning. It’s very comfortable. Hotel service is very good, like family, not the kind of service. Although the stairs are not very good, it is not a big problem to help carry luggage. Try to stay in main building (only those rooms with Main Building are better). The other rooms in annex buildings are old, rundown and can be quite unpleasant. The triple room we stayed in (in the annex building), the bed is stiff and uncomfortable. Furniture is old. Most unpleasant is that there is this mirror before the entrance of the toilet. This mirror can be opened and inside is a building service compartment with all sorts of pipes inside and seems to link to other floors. Although it is narrow and i dont thing people can go through.

My favourite hotel, with friendly staff like Vicky and Shirley. A short walk from my favourite bar, Funkadeli. Next door to the luxurious and beautiful IAPM, and only a 20 minute walk from my favourite Sunday brunch spot, The Bull & Claw. I highly recommend this hotel for couples and solo travellers. Nice comfortable bedrooms with great heating during winter. There is also a nice gym upstairs which I often use. Will definitely stay here again!

Everything about this room is amazing. It is clean, tidy, modern, the services well organized and polite, it has character and an amazing location with nice views. The best thing about it though are the people running it, as they are super polite and helpful. I definitely and unreservedly recommend it! I also have a dog and they treated us great, while ensuring of course we take care of the flat. All was done with great politeness and grace. I m super happy with them!

This was a great find. We stayed here with two adults and an 8 and 6 year old. Mostly we were impressed with the service and how quick the owner was to respond to our needs. We enjoyed the area and the 10 min walk to the subway passed a few good eateries though it was a little outside downtown. Warning! Don't try to take a cab during rush hour. Take the subway or walk it! Would definitely stay here again.
