Located in the bustling business district of Xuhui, Capella is much better than the ones in Hainan! It's quiet in the middle of the hustle and bustle, making it very convenient to go out for a walk or ride a bike. Although the design of the small five-story building is climbed up and down, the functional areas are indeed divided very well. The sanitation and cleaning are good. Both bathrooms and toilets are smart and have heating functions. They are very friendly to friends who come to Shanghai in the winter. The audio-visual room does not disturb teammates who want to sleep. The light shading in the room is excellent and the sound insulation is very good. , it was quite quiet all night (but I don’t know if it was because there were few or no neighboring guests), which was appreciated by teammates who suffer from insomnia. The service is also very good. From the time of check-in, every employee takes the initiative to say hello, greets you with a smile, and responds quickly to requests. As for breakfast, I think it can be improved. Breakfast is a la carte service and can be ordered and delivered to the room. I went to the restaurant to eat, but my expectations may have been too high. I felt that the product that day was not at an excellent level, and the staff did not feel very busy. Why do I always have to ask for more tea? Haha... The last unhappy thing is that because I like their body wash, I bought it for home use, but I forgot to check it in when I boarded the plane, and the security personnel took it away in vain😭😭😭I will bring my children back next time, continue. Keep up the service level!

Super helpful and friendly staff. Assisting me in ordering food delivery, ordering didi (cab/taxi) and also with my luggages. Special thanks to the very thoughtful house keeping lady, I think her surname is Fang, who is on duty from Dec 4th till 9th on the 11th floor. She put in extra effort and try her best to help my colleague from Philippines even with language barrier. Love the location as well, very near the subway station, beautiful surroundings during Autumn, a lot of locals and non local restaurants. Convenient location.

Stayed for 2 nights with wife. A small chic boutique hotel. Usually stay in big chain hotel but a change of scenery and experience is not a bad idea. The basic room was quite small but I would recommend the larger size room. The staff did great to accommodate all your needs. Simple breakfast which are included in the room rate. Overall the experience was great. The ambience and the surroundings are definitely an awesome IG spot. this is certainly an IG hotel. a 5 minute walk to metro and 10 minute walk to a major mall was a plus.

It's our 1st time staying in Seclusive, and we chose to celebrate my 50th birthday here (we're from Singapore). In our 6 days trip in Shanghai, this is the 3rd hotel we've stayed for 3 nights. We booked 2 rooms - a suite and a king-sized bedroom. Talk about the downside first. The suite (on the 2nd floor) is spacious with a terrace, however the king-sized bedroom (on the ground floor) was extremely small, it will not be suitable if you're a 6 footer at all (you'd probably be knocking your knee to alot of things). Since it is an old structured building, the sewerage system is no good (toilets in both our rooms were choked and needed attention). The staircase to the level 2 was really steep with uneven carpet. They should also plan to hire more (& younger) housekeeping staff as cleaning up the rooms takes longer than expected, we waited on the day of check-in as well as when we were out for lunch (2 hours). Now on the good things! Location is great as it is walking distance to alot of shops, cafes, restaurants. We reckon that this is a 'hot' and 'social influencer' locality with lotsa crowd taking photos and vids. What made the stay MOST PLEASANT and MEMORABLE is the staff named Ace, true to his name - he was truly a superstar with top-notch service and attitude, the type you'd think never exist in this world! From settling the laundry (with an external vendor), booking cars, restaurants reservations, birthday-surprise decor to the room, all coordination with external vendors and many more! Last but not least - with a bright smile at all times! If at all we decide to be back, its only because of Ace!

Taiyuan Villa, this century-old building is like a beautiful classical note. It has a large garden in the city center. Towering camphor tree branches stretch into the sky to form a green cover. There are fountains and pools with the sound of birds singing and the fragrance of flowers. It is really a fairy tale world in the city. There was a wedding on the day of check-in, and afternoon tea was delivered to the room. Thank you to the waiter for your hard work. It can be said that I am very satisfied with the experience! A hotel full of surprises. In the morning, you wake up in a room with a European-style ancient building. The private garden plants opposite are lush, quiet and comfortable🐝🌿🍂🐛🐦⬛ The sunlight from the guest room windows on the first floor and the tatami reading space show the designer's intentions. Particularly fond of things with a sense of time. Time flies by, the sun and the moon fly by, and the hourglass of time deposits the past of many people... The location of this homestay is very good, and the environment is okay. It is a one-story bungalow on the first floor. The windows cannot be opened, the ventilation is not good, there is an air purifier in use. Fortunately, the interior is clean and tidy, with complete living facilities, no problem for a day or two! Overall quite satisfied! The child finds it very fresh and likes it! The host's WeChat service is also very good, praise 👍

Wife and I just spent 13 nights in a Yarrow Suite @AUD350 p/n.(via Trip.com). I have previously stayed at this property on a number of occasions when it was under different ownership and was known as GianGong/JinJiang, and when I was always very satisfied with my stays. On this current occasion however, I was a bit disappointed - mainly due to the virtual complete lack of English language capability from any staff (previously there had always been an English speaker on duty at Reception). So most of our comunications had to be via a cellphone translation App. I get it that we are guests in China but do feel that having the facility to make ouselves understood is of worthwhile value. Further more we felt the breakfast buffet offerings were disappointing - whilst being plentiful, most dishes were served cold - which in the middle of a Shanghai winter is not good enough. Also after a few days the supply of cutlery knives apparently ran out (from pilfering??), so that towards the end we certainly expanded our expertise in the use of chopsticks. On the positive side the availability of a laundry room is very handy facility. Perhaps this property has suffered adversely from the pandemic and it was noted that its up-market gift shop no longer exists. Also, the overall locality around Hengshan Road seems to have lost a lot of its vitality as it currently is not the ”party street” that it previously was. We actually sought to extend our stay by a couple of days but were quoted a much increased price for our room although it appeared to be the only one occupied on our floor. So we moved to the Donghu Hotel which offered better value for our Aussie dollar (and where most of the front office staff speak English). In summary I feel that the Lestie Hotel is still good but has perhaps evolved principally towards the Chinese domestic market, is a bit over-priced, and so I would not recommend it to foreigners.

The first night I stayed in the secret place, the external environment was not very good, but the internal environment was not bad, and the bed was quite comfortable to sleep on. The Hejun hotel we stayed at for the second night was pretty good, but my son said the bed was not as comfortable as the one at Secret Place.

The landlord was very nice. During the check-in, he left the key in the room and helped us get the spare key. The house is very clean and has everything that should be there. The traffic is very convenient, and the specific location can be found according to the guidelines. If you drive to the roadside, it is recommended to stop, the community is not very good to stop.

[First glance into the room]: It feels unsurprising to see the pictures from the platform, but walking into the room gives people a bright look. The room is large and the standard two-game room. The housekeeper responded in a timely manner, and any questions were answered as soon as possible; The key is that the transportation is very convenient. It takes less than 5 minutes to walk out of the community. It is very convenient. I will stay at her house next time.

Very amazing accommodation experience, definitely the best place to feel Shanghai. The house is on Anting Road, quiet in the middle of noisy, the scenery on the road is excellent, everything around is very convenient, what to do. The house itself is a gallery that displays Hass's photography and collections. These works are very flavorful, and it is even more wonderful to be immersed in them. The collection also has its own stories, which confirm the changes in Shanghai over the years. Outside the window is the sweet-scented osmanthus tree. Every couple in the house can be painted. Stayed here for 7 days, whether it is at home or out, it is a pleasure. Very lucky to meet Anting Gallery. Hass was particularly nice, generously sharing his artistic insights and works, as well as Shanghai stories and delicious food, which added a lot of fun to my whole Shanghai experience, thank you very much.
