Spa hotels in City of Manila

Located on the main street of Malate, it's a great spot for sightseeing. The facilities are a bit old, but I think the breakfast quality is good for the price. The air conditioning unit was Japanese-made and worked exceptionally well, almost too cold!

Overall, our stay was pleasant. However, the swimming pool was not operational during our visit due to bad weather. Additionally, the provided slippers were in poor condition, and we had to contact the front desk several times to request replacements. We were also disturbed while sleeping when a staff member knocked on our door claiming we had requested an iron, which we had not.

I traveled to the Philippines to visit relatives. It was my mother's birthday, so we stayed in Manila. Whenever I stayed in Manila, I always stayed at the Philippine Plaza, but as soon as I found out it had closed, I started looking for a hotel. My requirements were that it be located on Roxas Boulevard, have good access to the airport and tourist attractions, and have good security. After searching and reading reviews, I decided that this hotel was ideal. I arrived early in the morning by overnight bus, but they kindly allowed me to leave my luggage before check-in and go out for breakfast. They also made arrangements to ensure a smooth check-in. I had mentioned in advance that it was my mother's birthday, and unexpectedly, a lovely birthday cake was waiting in our room. The room was clean, and the front desk staff provided wonderful service with smiles before, during, and after check-in. However, I was disappointed by the manners and attitude of some guests. Dogs were roaming freely in the restaurant and near the front desk (the website I checked said that pets were not allowed, but the hotel actually allowed them). There were also people walking down the corridors soaking wet. The most shocking thing was that, although we know it was our mistake, my mother's coat, which she had left near the front desk, went missing. It was an expensive coat that she cherished. My mother, myself, and everyone traveling with us remembered losing the coat at the hotel, so we checked with the staff multiple times, but it couldn't be found. It was almost certainly stolen inside the hotel. I don't know if they checked the security camera footage. I have stayed at famous hotels in the Philippines, such as the Philippine Plaza and the Manila Hotel, and five-star hotels in various countries, but frankly speaking, this is not a five-star hotel. Putting aside the manners and morals of the guests, it was a wonderful hotel.

★★★★★ Great stay at Hotel H2O! The room was clean and well-maintained, and my daughter truly enjoyed our whole stay. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. This birthday trip was extra memorable for us, and we hope to come back again soon!

We booked a suite room here because we had our wedding preparations at this hotel five years ago, and we expected the same quality of service and experience. Unfortunately, it feels very different now compared to before. Last night, there were two people sleeping in the lobby who did not appear to be hotel guests. We were wondering why they were allowed to stay there, as we understood that the lobby is intended for hotel guests. Additionally, the towels in our room appeared old and worn out. Overall, we believe that the cleanliness and security of the hotel should be reviewed and improved. There was also a drunk individual outside the 7-Eleven last night who was saying things to us, which made us feel scared and uncomfortable. Although the staff did ask him to leave, we still would have appreciated an apology regarding the incident. Overall, we were disappointed with this experience, especially since we chose this hotel based on the positive memories and standards we experienced during our wedding preparations five years ago.

Our stay at this hotel was overall average. There are few areas that need improvement. The carpet was not clean, which made the space feel less comfortable and not maintained as expected. Cleanliness is very important to guest. Additionally, the breakfast buffet did not offer many choices. The selection was quiet limited. I hope the management can improve these areas to provide better experience for future guests.

I stayed in a suite and thought the price was good for two people with breakfast included. The Wi-Fi worked fine. The shower had hot water, but the water pressure was extremely weak, just a trickle. There was no curtain or partition in the bathroom, so the toilet got soaked. Part of the wall near the window was wet, possibly from a leak. The safety deposit box was broken, but they replaced it for me. There were no issues with bugs or toilet odors.

There were some minor issues, but they were resolved right away so it wasn't inconvenient. First of all, the location was really good.

Good stay overall. The staff were friendly, and the room was comfortable. Housekeeping could be a bit more thorough, but it did not significantly affect our experience. We would still recommend this hotel and consider staying again.

I was so disappointed. The shower host from the bathroom was defective but in fairness it was repaired on the 2nd day midnight. And also no rubber bathroom mat (since the bathroom floor tiles is slippery) . They only produce the mat after my sister a pwd has warned them for any accident that she may incurred the front desk will be responsible. While the water heater is not 24 hours based on their post. Water heater resume on my 3rd day stay. The four treadmills at the gym are also not working it is all under maintenance. In regards i think this hotel needs already a fully renovation.
