Service is very nice and helpful. I got a lot of tips that were very valuable to me. Near the metro line. Shower is provided only for women with excellent cosmetics for people who care for the skin. I recommend. If I ever welcome to Osaka, I'll be sure to come back.

Don't go to the wrong branch, which name ends with ”Shinsaibashi”. When typing in Google Maps, type the full name including the last word ”Shinsekai”. This Shinsekai hostel/hotel had just opened on 18 June 2026. Less than 6 weeks later, we stayed in its Universal (twin) Room with private bathroom, so to us it felt like a hotel. The bigger bed is only slightly wider than the single bed, but the room is spacious. The bathroom (with a huge bath tub) and toilet even more so. Room has universal adaptor, USB-A and USB-C charge points on the wall sockets. On the lobby floor, there is a laundry room and a vending machine for cold drinks, and the spacious kitchen runs 24h for your convenience with free coffee, tea, along with a hot water, warm water, and cold water dispenser. There is a row of window seats with power points (no USB) so you can charge your phone while savouring their breakfast. The hotel is walking distance from the Dobut-suen metro/subway station, which crosses two major lines brown and red, both of which takes you directly to epicentre Namba and the landmark Glicoman signboard within 3 stations. There is a Daiso dollar shop a few doors away, and a Family Mart convenience store at the junction where you cross to the subway station. Write them a review on major platform, and show the reception staff to get a free drawstring pouch!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this apartment. It was clean, comfortable, and in a great location. Although the space is compact, it felt surprisingly spacious for the two of us and had everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable, and the apartment was well equipped with a washing machine, refrigerator, TV, microwave, kitchen, and cooking utensils. We especially loved the balcony, as it was perfect for drying our clothes every day. What impressed us the most was the host's kindness and hospitality. We arrived in Osaka after a long flight, feeling exhausted and sleep-deprived, so we asked if an early check-in might be possible. The host kindly accommodated our request at no extra charge, which we truly appreciated. Being able to rest before exploring Osaka made a huge difference to our trip. Thank you for your warm hospitality. We highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Osaka and would happily stay here again!

I ended my stay early for a couple of reasons. One; the mattress in my pod was too short and my feet hung off the and. I’m nearly 6 foot. Also, the guy in the pod next to me was snoring very, very loudly all night. Sue the manager kindly let me switch to another pod but I was still uncomfortable so she allowed me to check out early. Also, the place is very cramped and cluttered. Stuff everywhere. It just didn’t suit me. But Sue was unbelievably helpful, kind and understanding.

Stayed in standard twin shared toilet room from 20 - 22 June 2026 2 nights for MYR180 and 14-15 June 2026 1 night for RM57. Highly recommended for solo travellers as the hotel is clean, convenient, walking distance to Shin Imamiya Nankai Line station, Shin Imamiya JR Osaka Loop and Dobutsumae / Tennoji Zoo Metro Station (Interchange for 2 metro lines). Nitori, Donki, many hotels and some eateries are also within walking distance. Shower room is at ground floor and gender-separated. There are 4 shower cells with high privacy and 3 washing basins. Washing machine and drying machine is inside the shower room and you can pay by coin or apps. There is a common area at lobby with toilets, microwave oven, electronic kettle and kitchen basin. No water refill machine is provided, I need to buy water bottle at convenience store nearby. The room is very clean and comfortable, it comes with Wi-fi, air conditioner, smart TV (need to pay for certain programme), small fridge, 2 sockets for charging phone and window. There is toilet at every floor. After booking, you will receive email to pre register your particulars, upload passport photo and selfie photo. Then you will receive QR code. On arrival, you need to scan the QR code pasted at entrance by typing your name. One set of password will be generated for you to enter the entrance, your room and shower room. Receptionist only work at counter from 9 - 6pm. You can store luggage before check in but cannot store luggage after check out. Check in time is 3pm while check out is 9am. Overall I am very satisfied with the hotel and will definitely come back in future.

This one just beats all my other stays in Japan, it was seriously that good. The location is near Umeda Station, a super quick three-minute walk, and it was so easy to find amazing local cuisine nearby. The public bath is the absolute MVP here. I was totally not expecting someone with a tattoo on the back like me to be allowed in, but it was fine. My Japanese friend even said, ”Your public bath is way too good to be the one of a hotel, it should be a private public bath.” The quality is superb, and the amenities are fully equipped with everything you have in your own bathroom: hair spray, shampoo, hair conditioner, sponge, razor, nail clipper, nourishing cream, toothbrush, toothpaste and woww a lot. You put heart in every detail. It was my first experience with a Japanese public bath, and it was the best. The staff are super friendly but still uphold guests’ privacy. Having a lot of guests, it was surprisingly enough to sleep. Just one quick recommendation: The hostel requires a daily check-in even when you book consecutive days. For us, it was no problem sorting out and communicating with staffs. But some foreign guests seemed a bit confused by the process. If they could clarify that for non-Japanese speakers better, the place would be beyond perfect! Thanks for the excellent experience!

I spent several weeks at 3u Namba. The receptionists were always very pleasant and often helped me keep the same room between reservations. There's a significant dust problem because of the carpet everywhere, leading to dust bunnies all over, so if you have allergies, you should be aware of this. The location is perfect, close to stations, and the showers are generally clean. My only very personal negative point is that I find it a bit disappointing when you've been staying for several weeks and have to check out for just one night because the hotel is full, only to have to wait until 3 pm the next day for check-in. A bit more flexibility for regular guests would be a real plus. The rooms are good, but the view really depends on your luck. Thank you for the stay, and I will return. I recommend it if it's less than €20 per night outside of peak season.

The hostel is conveniently located near the metro station. The area outside is a bit like a bar street, but once you step into the hostel, it feels new, modern, clean, and comfortable. There are several common areas on the ground floor and upstairs, which are great for chatting, using your phone, or working. They also have a shared kitchen, washing machine, and dryer. The dorm room had a bit of a strange smell, but it felt clean. The beds were spacious enough for a comfortable sleep, and each bed had its own private locker.

Right next to Shin-Imamiya subway station, so getting around is incredibly convenient. The front desk staff rotate, with two people on duty at a time, including locals, Chinese, Koreans, and Indians. There's a women's shower on the 4th floor, men's showers on the 6th, and a men's bathhouse and microwave on the 10th. Downstairs, there are convenience stores, pharmacies, and places to eat nearby. The room was super small, but quite clean, and they provided towels and plastic slippers. Because it's close to the train tracks, there's a bit of noise. Plus, there's some noise from motorbikes speeding by. I stayed for 3 days, and there was hardly any noise from other guests.

I stayed at a hotel in Osaka and had a mixed experience. The staff were very nice, always polite and willing to assist, which made me feel welcome. The location was also convenient, with easy access to the main sights and transportation. However, the cleanliness of the hotel could have been better. Some areas did not feel as well maintained as they should, which was a little disappointing. The amenities were just average, functional but not impressive. Overall, the hotel was fine for a short stay, thanks to the friendly staff and good location, but it would benefit from improvements in cleanliness and facilities.
