Highly highly recommend to stay in 上善若水 民宿 if you visit 宏村。 The place is conveniently located near 月昭, which is one of the most pretty sight in 宏村。 Hotel is beautiful , spacious and very clean , with a big yard where you can sip tea and enjoy the serene vibe of the place. There are 9 rooms ,all nicely designed by interior designer. Service by the owners, husband and wife pair is impeccable. You feel welcome immediately with attention to your every need! Feels like you are staying with friends who provide you with comfort in a foreign place. Home cooked breakfast every morning and great quality sleep every night! Some photos of the hotel below. The entire courtyard was charmingly decorated. The guesthouse was housed in a Qing Dynasty-style building. The rooms were wooden cabins, and the facilities were generally very complete, including a smart toilet. The rooms were duplexes, requiring climbing stairs. The bathroom was on the lower level, and the bed was on the upper level, which wasn't particularly convenient. However, it was a nice change from typical hotel rooms for families with children. The upper level had underfloor heating, so it wasn't cold at night. There was no TV in the room, and the Wi-Fi wasn't great. The owner was very welcoming. He called ahead to pick us up and even helped us with our luggage to the bus stop when we left. We were very satisfied with the service.

This guesthouse is located right inside the scenic area, making it super convenient for resting after an evening stroll. The decor is charmingly traditional, perfectly complementing the Huizhou architectural style. The guesthouse itself feels like an integral part of the scenic area, featuring a garden restaurant and a coffee bar where you can even pet cats. The owner is fantastic, offering luggage pickup and drop-off services right from the bus station. It's a highly recommended place to stay.

This stay was absolutely fantastic! The hotel's location is perfect; it's super convenient for both nearby attractions and finding great food. The room was clean and cozy, and the bedding was so comfortable that I fell asleep the moment I hit the pillow. The bathroom was also completely odor-free. The front desk staff were warm and attentive, check-in was lightning fast, and they even thoughtfully recommended some fun places to visit nearby. Breakfast offered a wide variety of options, all nutritious and delicious. The value for money is outstanding, and I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in the area!

The service was very friendly, with a friendly lady helping to take our luggage to and from the parking lot. The lake-view room we booked had a view of the Moon Pond, and from the third-floor terrace, we could see the rooftops of Hongcun Village and the Moon Pond. It was very close to the Moon Pond, about a 100-meter walk. My family was also very satisfied.

The owner was a bit elusive, communicating entirely through WeChat, but they arranged for someone to pick us up and drop us off. The room was clean and had a small courtyard. It was very close to Moon Pond. We arrived around 6 PM, got settled, and then went out just in time to see the night view of Moon Pond. When we left, the owner took us to the roadside to catch a taxi and even helped us load our luggage into the Didi car.

Traveling with 2 of my friends on a fun girls trip! This was such an amazing location. We went from a sad and boring hotel in Beijing to this fantastic location and suddenly the whole trip was more fun and much more interesting. The host met us at the entrance to Hongcun and carried our luggage in the back of his little vehicle as we followed him around quaint buildings and through a narrow cobblestone walkway which was perfect for walking and pretty impressive to drive thru without scratching anything. After the beautiful walk we came through the most beautiful circle archway and into the cutest courtyard. We rented the room with a queen bed downstairs and 2 full beds up in the loft. The rooms were so cute we had to hide our luggage to do a full video tour to show our families before unpacking. The beds have mattress toppers which helped soften up the beds for us Americans. The host was very helpful and I would suggest getting WeChat to translate if you don’t speak Chinese. I don’t but it was easy to communicate. I would definitely stay at here again. Highly recommended!

The property is located in the heart of Hongcun, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the historic village on foot. As guests, you’re also entitled to discounted entrance tickets: just let the ticket office know you're staying here and they'll give you 50% off tickets. Room was exactly as in the photos, spacious, perfectly clean and featured a very comfortable bed and many accessories (bottled water, tv, haircomb, hairdrier, etc). The building’s traditional Chinese architecture was absolutely beautiful and on a rainy day, it created a wonderfully romantic atmosphere we will treasure forever in our memories. The staff were exceptionally helpful. They kindly met us to guide us to the hotel (since Apple Maps and AMaps can be a bit confusing in the area), provided umbrellas free of charge and even bring us back to the parking lot when we left. We had an excellent stay and highly recommend this accommodation to anyone visiting Hongcun!

A good sleep is very important when traveling. Only by having a good rest can you have a good time. The room is easy to sleep in, the soundproofing is good, the location is good, and the transportation is convenient. There are many barbecue restaurants nearby for late night snacks. It is very convenient to visit the ancient city right at the entrance of the ancient city. And when you arrive, the boss will come out to pick you up and help you carry your luggage with one hand👍🏻There are two dogs in the yard, Biga and Fifty, who are both invincible and cute. Biga will also invite you to play with toys😋I will stay here next time I come to Lijiang !

Pig's Inn is a charming little hotel in a beautiful original building - the spaces are just incredible and endlessly photogenic. The village of Bishan itself is very quaint, still inhabited by locals but with a few cafés and bars, design stores and a wonderful bookshop. The breakfast and dinner at the hotel are fabulous - we had dinner here twice. We stayed here for two nights in January, as most of the spaces are open, the hotel was a little chilly, but we were very cosy in front of the fireplace in the living area. Very happy we chose to stay in the small village of Bishan rather than the beautiful, but more touristy villages of Xidi or Hongcun. There are bikes and it was easy to get a Didi to visit the surrounding villages.
