Great Location and Reliable Comfort in Hamburg! I stayed at the Hampton by Hilton Hamburg City Centre for two nights and had a wonderful experience. Location: Very convenient. Can take the city bus from the main train station (Hbf) and stop at Repsoldstraße which is directly infront of the hotel. Rooms: Clean, modern, and well-designed. The bed was comfortable, and the soundproofing was excellent despite being central. Breakfast: The complimentary breakfast had a great variety of hot and cold options. Staff: Friendly, welcoming, and quick with the check-in process.

I was very satisfied with the service and the staff. The location is ideal in terms of the subway and commuter rail connections.

Hotel is about an 8 min walk to the train station. There is construction nearby which meant we had to walk a short path in the dirt through a park area but not a big issue. Hotel was clean and beds were comfy. No toiletries or amenities though. Not much to eat around here though (nearest restaurant is near the train station). Easy and simple check in/check out procedure.

After a slight initial confusion during check-in – I'd never booked through a system like this before – I was genuinely thrilled with the quality of the rooms! Super comfortable beds, a fantastic accessible bathroom, and modern room design. We were extremely satisfied and will definitely become regular guests at Sleep Hotels and recommend them to others!

The unbeatable location near the main train and bus station is the only positive aspect of this property. While the customer service team was pleasant, the lines to speak with them were endless. The private bathroom is exceptionally cramped—similar to a boat cabin—making it nearly impossible to turn around. Furthermore, basic amenities were lacking: a hairdryer was only provided on the third night after three separate requests, housekeeping occurs only after five nights, and there is a 5-euro fee for towel replacements.

Сам отель удивил спокойным чистым но ером в дополнительно зданни с балконом во внутренний двор, но в номере нет ни холодильника ни столовых принадлежностей. Есть халаты и тапочки. В общем можно рекомендовать если район устраивает (15 минут пешком до главного ЖД вокзала).

ood location near to Hamburg main station. Check in was slow as there was only one old senior lady at the counter who kept talking to the guests in front of me and told me 5 times “just a moment…” The she left at 3pm and change shift to a young man who was much more efficient and friendly. My room was dark and smell funny but the bathroom is clean. Bed and pillows are very comfortable. Breakfast was same every day. Restaurant staffs are nice. Would recommend only if you need to be near the train station.

Hotel Hesse in Hamburg is set in a relatively quiet part of the city, which made it a comfortable base to return to after a day out. Nothing especially memorable, but everything worked as expected. It had that slightly dated charm you sometimes find in smaller city hotels, where comfort is there, just without any modern flair. What stood out most was how uncomplicated the whole stay felt. Check-in, check-out, coming and going—everything was easy and without fuss. It’s the kind of place you choose when you just need somewhere to rest, rather than somewhere to experience. Overall, Hotel Hesse was a practical and no-frills option in Hamburg. It may not leave a lasting impression, but it quietly does the job if you’re looking for a simple place to stay.

The hotel is quite expensive, but its location is excellent, right opposite the train station, making it very convenient for getting around. There are also many restaurants nearby, so dining is easy. The room itself is small and a bit cramped. When I checked in, parts of the hotel were still under renovation, and there was a lingering smell in the room, but it cleared up after opening the window for ventilation. The best part was having USB charging ports by the bed.
