A fantastic experience! The supermarket and laundromat are within walking distance, and the breakfast service was excellent. Breakfast included my favorite German and European pickles, scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, crispy fried bacon, various honeys, a wide selection of breads, four types of yogurt, and a variety of fruits to add to the yogurt, as well as fresh fruit. There were also many unique juice options, and iced and sparkling water choices. A quick greeting from the staff allows you to bring your own coffee or hot tea to the smoking area outside (but remember to return empty cups to the restaurant).

My stay at the Crowne Plaza Hamburg - City Alster was absolutely superb. From the moment I arrived, the elegant and professional atmosphere was noticeable. The room was spacious and beautifully appointed, with a incredibly comfortable bed and a fantastic view. The location is also ideal for both enjoying the beautiful Alster lake and accessing the city center. It’s the attentive service and premium amenities that set this hotel apart. I felt thoroughly pampered and would not hesitate to return for another luxurious stay.

This hotel is splendid! It's new, clean, and the rooms are spacious. The shower and all bathroom amenities, including soap, shampoo, and shower gel, are all from Rituals – absolutely fantastic! The location is superb; it's about a 5-minute walk to the train station, but not in a sketchy area; quite the opposite, it's very civilized. All the major tourist attractions are nearby! We were able to check in early, and the staff were incredibly kind, responsive, and professional. Check-out at 12:00 PM is also a huge plus, especially compared to many hotels that have an 11:00 AM check-out. I wish this hotel continued success and always happy guests!

Overall the rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable. Two points worth noting that guests should be aware of: 1. The curtain pocket (the part at the top that hides the curtain rail) is not deep enough, so plenty of light comes in around it. For people use to full blackout in bedrooms, this may be disturbing - especially when the sun rises in the morning. 2. As noted in some other reviews, the pillows are EXTREMELY low density. They are so low density, that there is close to zero support once lying on them and the weight of your head has compressed the filling (down I think). I fortunately brought my own pillow, however if I had not, this review score would be much lower as it would have made it difficult for me to sleep the pillows are so unusually soft/airy.

Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt im Hotel. Das Frühstück war fantastisch und das Familien-Zimmer war sehr geräumig. Leider gab es im Bad und im Zimmer wenig Abstellmöglichkeiten (z.B. einen Schrank oder Hocker) für unsere persönlichen Sachen. Für vier Personen wäre dies wünschenswert. Wir kommen aber gerne wieder.

Super friendly service at check-in and check-out. Very good breakfast buffet. Very clean room with a great view. Great bar. We'd love to come back again.

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a wonderful experience. The rooms were very clean and well-maintained, with everything feeling fresh and in great condition. Overall, it’s an excellent choice for anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and budget-friendly stay. I’d definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.

The service was ok and the staff went all out to bring me a new hairdryer when I feedback on the spoiled hairdryer in the room. However, the amenities are lacking. There’s not even a kettle to boil hot water in the room. Nor coffee and tea.

Location in front of the station and about 10 minutes walk from the center. Almost new structure and good cleaning of the room.

Hygiene: as always good. Environment: The location is as general as ever, and there are supermarket restaurants nearby. There is a fried fish restaurant, which is affordable and delicious. Service: as always good. Facilities: as always good.
