Just after getting off the highway, I received a very polite reminder call from the hotel front desk staff when navigating to the hotel. After arriving at the hotel, the front desk staff upgraded the room type for free. Good environment, good service, rich and delicious breakfast. All the service staff have a good attitude, and I will stay again next time. (It’s just that I received a cute message, but it says Ms. Wen 😂 I think it should be Ms. Wen, in fact, I was really amused, haha, I hope the comrade who sent the message can check it before sending it, hahaha)

The room design is novel and very fashionable, suitable for young people to check in. Facilities: Very new Hygiene: Very clean Environment: Very close to Xiamen Street, just turn right when you go out. Many delicious foods are nearby. The basement is very bright, and there are security guards to guide parking during the day. Service: Super five-star service, KIKI at the front desk quickly helped us check in, the business is very skilled, and the service attitude is also very good, which deserves praise. The room service and management are also superb. The breakfast category is complete and very rich. It would be more perfect if we could bring some special foods from our Jilin City. When checking out, they also brought us iced mineral water. Next time I go to Jilin City, I will definitely choose this store.

I would like to call it the most cost-effective hotel in Songhua Lake 1. The front desk upgraded the room to a high floor for free 2. There is a free late-night cafeteria to satisfy foodies 3. The breakfast is rich and I want to use it in the sun room 4. Although it is not possible to delay check-out, it provides a shower room. I hope other hotels can learn from it 5. The car pick-up and drop-off is really great for this price 6. This service is even better than many five-star hotels I will stay here next time

Stayed for one night and experienced the small hot pot on the third floor and breakfast the next day. The room is clean, quiet and non-smoking, which is very suitable for people like me who have high requirements for the sleeping environment. The breakfast is rich, and I love corn, porridge and mixed cold dishes. The small hot pot is a group purchase, which is a bit wasteful but tastes good. Thumbs up. The waiters and the front desk are very warm and thoughtful, and parking is free.

They provided excellent recommendations for nearby attractions and eateries, and they went out of their way to guide us on how to get there. We especially appreciated their helpful directions to a well-known local restaurant. While the room itself was a bit smaller than we expected, it didn't detract from our overall experience. The coziness of the space actually added to the comfort of our stay, and we felt right at home. One of the highlights for me was the hotel slippers—they were incredibly soft, thick, and comfortable, offering a nice touch of luxury and relaxation. Another nice surprise was the hotel’s thoughtful gesture of providing free porridge in the evenings. After a long day of exploring, it was a warm and comforting treat to enjoy before bed. Additionally, the hotel is well-equipped with convenient amenities like washing machines and dryers, which is always a bonus when you're traveling for an extended period. For food lovers, it’s worth mentioning that the hotel is just a short walk from 新兴园饺子, a famous local dumpling restaurant. The proximity made it easy for us to enjoy some of the best dumplings in the area without having to travel far. Overall, the hotel provided a great balance of comfort, convenience, and service, making it a wonderful choice for anyone visiting the area.

I read extensive reviews before I booked this hotel a few months ago, and my experience staying 3 nights here did support those excellent reviews. The services were superior and the staff very friendly and helpful. Free breakfast was good and packed with sufficient proteins and nutrients to prepare for a full half day skiing. You can rent ski equipments ( even clothing) right at the basement conveniently after you are done eating. Ski passes and ski classes can be purchased right there, with the channel discount prices, so you avoid the hassle of doing these things at the Ski Service Center. There is a Tesla Model Y always ready to take you from hotel basement to the ski slopes (the ski-in and ski-out access was closed during my stay there but in most cases you could do it) and take you back to hotel whenever you call them a few minutes ahead of time). The hotel itself is located within walking distance to the ski lifts, so even without the transportation assistance, it is manageable by putting on ski boots and just walk back and forth with your skis. The room I booked has a bedroom with 2 twin beds and a living room with TV and dining table and a kitchen sink and stove ( but no utensils yet so don’t expect to cook meals there). Bottle waters and snacks were replenished daily for free. Besides its own dinning facilities and a small grocery store on the basement, there are plenty of options to eat and shop on the Main Street just down the road from the hotel. Overall, the New Story is a happy story and I look forward to returning in a year or two. (My advice for those who can afford flexible schedules, try to come here in slow season like now outside the Xmas and Chinese New Year windows, the snow is still quite good yet the crowds are not existent and you can get really good deals in staying, though the lift ticket is still not cheap, 430 RMB a or some $60-65 a day. Much more in busy season).

The location is very good. Beishan Park is next to it. There are many places to eat around. You can go to Beishan Park for a walk after dinner. The hotel facilities are relatively new. It is fun to take photos and check in in the lobby. There are also Manchu costumes that you can try on and take photos. There are also many kinds of breakfast and they are quite rich. The room is clean and sanitary. The service is also very good. They will say hello every time you go out. The housekeeper is also very enthusiastic. It can be the first choice for staying in a hotel in Jilin!

This is my second fantastic stay at this hotel! What a great experience I have had. The hotel is great and the people are awesome! They are doing what is beyond their duties to help my stay like home. I LOVE ❤️ 💕 this place! I would rate millions of stars if I could. During this stay, I ate at the restaurant a few times. The food and the service are fantastic! I have already decided to come back each year since this is just like my home! Thank you, all the hotel staff! You made my stay a memorable experience! I chose Zhanyun when I came to Songhua Lake for skiing for the first time. I drove alone on Friday because I was working overtime. I arrived late at night. Miss Guo Yixuan, who was on duty at the front desk, was very enthusiastic to help me check in and upgraded the room type for free. The resort-style cottage is very warm and comfortable, mainly because it is too close to the ski service center. You can change into ski clothes and go directly to the mountain. The facilities in the town are also relatively complete. In short, it is very cost-effective and five-star recommended.

The room is clean and bright, the hotel decoration is quite new, and the bedding is relatively clean. I booked the most basic room type and didn't sign up as a member until I got to the front desk. It would be more cost-effective to call the front desk directly and book a better room type at a discounted price. You should be able to get a better room type for the same price. The breakfast is very good. There are several delicious snacks, including freshly cooked noodles and wontons. There are also a lot of fruits. I came down late and there are not many fruits, but some are delicious. There is also coffee. Skim milk and yogurt are great value in my opinion. Eating out is not as clean as eating in a hotel. Sifangshun is a well-established hotel nearby. You can have a meal once in a while, but it is a bit greasy. I recommend Atour for breakfast. By the way, there is an activity area in the hotel lobby, where you can work and relax online. The Internet speed in the room is also good, so you can work and relax. The corridor was very quiet, and no one yelled in the morning or evening. I guess Shizune was doing a good job. I will choose Atour next time I come to Jilin, and I will give priority to Atour when traveling to Yunnan in September.
