5-Star Hotels in Foshan

We came specifically for the pool, which has a unique design. The service across all departments was excellent. Because of the rain, we ended up having all our meals (brunch and dinner) at the hotel restaurants. The Chinese restaurant on the first floor had good food and a wide variety of dishes. A special thanks to the lady at the front desk who checked me in; her attention to detail was great, and she even upgraded our room. The only minor inconvenience was the lack of an underground parking garage. Our car couldn't fit into the mechanical parking system, and although staff members were on hand with umbrellas to escort us to and from our car in the surface lot, it still wasn't ideal in the rain.

Great stay at Oakwood. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our visit. We were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary upgrade to a studio room with a great view. The room was spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped. Highly recommended!

I was in Foshan for a business trip this time. My first two nights at the Marriott in Shunde were excellent, so I wanted to try the Marriott in Qiandeng Lake for the next two nights, but unfortunately, it was fully booked. So I decided to try Courtyard by Marriott, a brand under the same group. I found that the room I booked at Courtyard was also fantastic, despite not having a bathtub, which it wasn't supposed to have anyway! I was very satisfied with the room the front desk lady arranged for me! I could see the brightly lit night market and clusters of illuminated buildings of Qiandeng Lake at night. The room itself was clean, tidy, bright, and spacious. The location is great too; it's just a short walk to explore Qiandeng Lake in the evening. The breakfast was also pretty good; the chef was creative, offering not only common Chinese and Western dishes but also traditional Foshan dim sum to try! A special, special thank you goes to Shirley at the front desk. Her service was not only warm and enthusiastic, but her genuine smile was also lovely. When I was working in the lobby lounge, she would also check in on me and offer assistance at appropriate times, making me feel incredibly at home! Highly recommend it!! Out of the three hotels I stayed in on this business trip, Shirley's service left the deepest impression!! I hope Courtyard can properly commend her, and I wish friends who read this review that they'll also encounter Shirley when they stay at Courtyard.

The Hilton Shunde boasts an excellent location right next to a commercial district, making it super convenient for getting around and finding food. There are authentic Shunde delicacies everywhere nearby, so it's easy to try local favorites like offal hotpot and fish sashimi. The rooms are comfortable, making this my top choice for a Shunde food tour!

The hotel is a bit old, but the facilities are well-maintained. However, it is an older property, and some of the layouts feel outdated. I'd love to see some updates, especially with the windowpanes – they're either stained or worn, which affects the view. The service attitude and quality definitely live up to five-star standards; they're very responsive to requests and proactive in their service. The location is super convenient for visiting Zumiao Temple and Lingnan Tiandi, and there are plenty of dining and shopping options nearby. Both the Chinese restaurant and the buffet at the hotel are excellent.

The Wyndham Changhua Hotel is conveniently located, and the rooms on higher floors offer great views. The environment is clean and hygienic. Miya at the front desk is warm and attentive. Every stay here is very satisfying!

Thanks to the front desk for upgrading our room, but the service wasn't very enthusiastic. After checking in, they left my ID at the front desk. I tried calling the front desk multiple times and they didn't answer until after several attempts. I hope they improve their service. The location is great, right near Lingnan Tiandi, making it convenient to go shopping anywhere. I love this type of apartment hotel with a balcony, blending in with the surrounding ancient buildings and local houses. I'll choose to stay here again next time I'm in Foshan.

🏨 Foshan@Shunde Lesso Courtyard Hotel | Kids' room captivated my children! My two kids and I stayed in the Pleasant Goat and Big Big Wolf themed family room, and we were instantly amazed when we opened the door 🤩 It's simply a room designed for kids to burn off energy! The little tent was also Pleasant Goat themed 🐑, and the two brothers immediately dove in, chattering away. One moment they were pretending to have a meeting in Goat Village, the next they were plotting to catch Big Big Wolf. With the digital building blocks, they put their heads together to build a Goat Village castle 🥳. The room details were also incredibly thoughtful. The floor-to-ceiling windows had excellent sound insulation and fantastic natural light ☀️. When the sun shone in, the whole room was bright, bright, bright! The space was so generous that the kids could run around without feeling cramped at all. The family dinner set meal 🍱 could be delivered to the room – a godsend for lazy people, haha! They had both Chinese and Western dishes, and the taste was quite good. The hotel's breakfast buffet had a huge variety 🥐, including freshly made noodles 🍜, Cantonese dim sum 🥧, fresh fruits 🍉… Eating a good breakfast gave us more energy to play. The hotel facilities were absolutely top-notch 👍: It had its own ”Candy House Kids' Paradise 🎠” + pickleball court 🏀, where you could literally 'drop off' the kids to expend their energy. Do the adults want to relax? The gym 🏋️ and heated swimming pool 🏊 were available anytime. Downstairs was Yingshen Plaza, with a large supermarket and plenty of food options 🍜, making it super convenient for an evening stroll and finding a meal. 🌏 The newly opened B.Duck City Park was super fun, with new and clean facilities 🌺. There was Ultraman car driving, ball pit, crazy disco, flying diaries, trampoline, and marble games~

The weather has been rainy lately, so we wanted a well-equipped family-friendly hotel. We particularly liked the multi-zoned kids' club, and the pool's depth was suitable for younger children, with planned activities for them too. The large fish tank in the lobby gave a vacation vibe, and the bright, spacious lobby was very comfortable. The front desk and customer service staff were excellent, especially their proactive communication. Our three boys absolutely loved the room's decor – it was themed after Cars, which the younger ones adore, and they even fought over who got to sleep in the car-shaped bed. The only minor drawback was that the room lighting was a bit too dim; I'd suggest improving it, especially since most people use electronics nowadays. The breakfast buffet was decent, though the selection of hot Chinese dishes was somewhat limited. Overall, we were very satisfied. The kids didn't want to check out, and we'll definitely be back for another stay!
