"I brought my mom here for 5 nights and it has been a wonderful stay. 1) we lived on the 3rd floor facing the Kazbegi mountains and the view was stunning. It was lovely sitting on the balcony in the evening chatting and sipping wine or having coffee in the morning 2) The location is great, lots of trails for hiking. To do most of them you will need to go down the hill (about 600m) and then up the hill on the way back. Going up the hill might be a bit challenging for some people but you can always get a cab if needed! 3) Food in the restaurant is delicious. I’ve noticed that guests (including myself) would stay inside or take their food outside on the terrace and spend hours having breakfast in the morning, it’s that relaxing. I had dinner in the hotel restaurant a few times and it was great. And it wasn’t more expensive than the food in most local restaurants down at the hill. 4) I recommend going to the pool especially if you find time when there are not too many people (I went in the morning and evening sometimes and most of the time few people there) 5) Very helpful and friendly staff. Always smiling, always polite, being very professional and calm."

In the end, I chose a family hotel, which is a three-story building with about 8-10 rooms on the second and third floors, of which about 6 are mountain view rooms. Rooms is the best hotel in the village. If you have money, of course you can choose Rooms directly. The price of this hotel in winter is 280 yuan, which is 1000-1200 yuan cheaper than the cheapest Rooms during the same period. This money can be saved to enjoy dining in Rooms. I booked this mountain view room to avoid possible footsteps upstairs. But there are few guests and no noise. The room is large and clean, the sheets and quilts are also good, and it is comfortable to live in. The heating is very warm. The room faces the church and Mount Kazbek, and if you are lucky, you can take pictures of the golden mountain in the sun. The location is also very convenient, and you can walk to the supermarket in a few minutes. The store provides a breakfast for 25 yuan in local currency. I packed the bread and food from the previous night and heated them up in the kitchen on the first floor. Since I don't plan to hike in winter, staying in this village for one night is enough. "It wasn’t a bad hotel but with this price of staying I could find a nicer hotel. Facilities were quite old. Our bed was not in a good condition. The floor made of wood which make a lot of noise while walking. I can foot steps of hotel guests every time. However The view from the room was amazing and the breakfast was delicious."

When you walk in, there is no window in one room, and one wash basin is removed. I thought it was closed and abandoned~ I called to tell which room it was, and then I went in to get the key~ If you are worried about safety, it's better not to book it. It depends on luck whether the door lock is locked. We locked the door at night and found that it could be opened easily the next morning~ If you don't care about the above three points and don't have high requirements for accommodation conditions, the cabin is mainly cheap, with hot water and heating, right at the foot of the snow mountain, and the environment is still great~ Of course, the wooden cabins here are all very good. It is recommended to choose one close to the center~ Convenient transportation, food and drink~"

"Stayed at Luno Cottage for two nights, and it was great! The location is awesome with a nice view, plus you can cook and do laundry, which was super convenient. Just a heads up, make sure to message the host about check-in time. I used WhatsApp, and he met us right on time. Check-in and check-out were really easy. Would definitely recommend!"
