The Premier Inn as whitewater Way Stockton On Tees, is an amazing place to stay. There is much to do in the surrounding area. There are shops, Cinemas and restaurants, the Barrage itself is outstanding. You can visit the Cleveland Hills, Ye so much to visit locally. The staff at the Hotel are very professional but go out of their way to help you. One person in particular, Sarah Burr the receptionist is a lovely person to deal with, she is so helpful and a asset to the company.
Premier Inn Stockton-on-Tees (Preston Farm)

Friendly welcome by staff. The room was clean and spacious. It would benefit from having USB ports to charge multiple devices. The bed was very comfortable and roomy. I had a good night's sleep. Breakfast was provided by Beefeater next-door. It was very disappointing. I ordered porridge, only to find out after receiving my order that there was no honey or syrup to go with it. Then when I went to get a bread barm, I was told they no longer serve them. So the only bread provided was sliced white and brown, crumpets, pancakes and croissants. No good for a sausage barm to go. This was the first time I've been disappointed with a Premier Inn breakfast.
The Stockton Arms Hotel

In the area for business and stayed at the Stockton arms for just one night. Room was very well presented and in great location for the local area. Great local park to walk after a days work in a nice area outside of the main town. The Stockton arms itself has a large bar with all sports channels available but is far from a sports pub with a smart/casual dress code making it a good spot to relax and enjoy a night. For food go around the corner to the Masham the sister pub, the food and service is excellent

Where to start with this place? I stayed here for 2 nights. My booking through work state 1 standard twin room. I wish this is what I received.... ROOM I was located in room 115....please if you are allocated this room LEAVE! This must be the worst room in the hotel. Its located at the top of the staircase so you hear people walking up them at all times. The doors to other corridors are opened and slammed shut constantly. It overlooks the entrance and the main road so you cant open the window without loud street noise. I walked into the room and it was boiling hot, id suggest leaving the heating off for future guests. Its easier to heat a room than to cool it down. Opening the window also didnt help because its just constant noise. The room contains a ceiling fan which is fantastic at blowing around hot air. My ”twin room” contained 1 single bed. No sockets near the bed , the TV cant get a volume above 40 so its impossible to hear if you're hard of hearing like myself. And dont say its to cut down on disturbing neighbouring rooms because they're disturbed more by street noise. The bathroom whilst nicely decorated has its issues. The hot water decided to cut off after about 5 minutes running when i was topping up my bath. The tea and coffee making facilities had milk pots that were 4 days out of date resulting in a rather sour coffee. The bed was a single bed and rock hard too. which disturbed my sleep. But you wont get much of that anyways as over my 2 nights the fire alarm went off 3 times. twice at 5.30AM!!!!!!!! RESTAURANT My only positive of this place is that the food, what you can get of it, is superb. I had the burger and the fish. Both were superb and the chips were incredible. So kudos to the chef. The rest of the restaurant staff however. Awful, a girl with blonde hair. Absolutely the worst waitress Ive come across. I would stand waiting to be seated for 10 minutes before she came out of the ktichen after chatting to her mates. At one point a woman in a black dress ( I think she may have been a manager) had to get her to come and seat me and other guests. Service on the food is slow but its worth the wait. My worst experience with this waitress was when i asked for a menu for dessert. 10 mins later she brought me the menu. I then sat for 25 minutes waiting for her to return to take my dessert order but she just never bothered. Instead playing on her phone or leaving the restaurant to speak to her mates in the kitchen! My 2nd night I learned my lesson and asked her for the brownie when she collected my plate. 15 minutes later she returned to tell me there were no brownies. Does it take 15 minutes to check the fridge? Truly terrible service!! RECEPTION I cant praise or fault reception staff. My only poor experience was waiting for 10 minutes to speak to someone but I think they may have been manning the bar as well which of course isnt their fault. OVERALL I can only reccomend that if you think this is an attractive opti

We booked bed/ breakfast for 2 nights. It was a buffet breakfast everything was on cereal fruit juice and hot food if you wanted anything extra the staff were only too willing to get it for you. Lovely room big fluffy towels in the bathroom and complimentary toiletries. The hotel is only 3 year old very modern and clean. I would stay in in again for my next trip. Marlene Glasgow

Set in one of the best areas of Stockton on Tees, this place is a disappointment. We went as a party for Sunday Lunch, OMG, the place is covered with televisions, there was even 2 in the Dining Room. The staff were exceptional, the food arrived just to say warm. The Sunday Tapas lunch was crazy, far too big tapas vegetable dishes of Cauliflower Cheese, and a Cabbage one, the portions would have been better shared between two people, what an absolute waste, the yorkshire pudding with the meat in was tiny. Very disappointing TV's everywhere, there is a lovely little room on the right as you go in, that would be ideal for non TV enthusiasts to dine in peace, but that had a TV in too. We were served by Carla who was really attentive, well doner.
