I decided to come to Suzhou on the spur of the moment. I looked at the hotel reviews and was very satisfied. I forgot to take a photo of the room... Manager Xie at the front desk saw that we were bringing children and elders, and the room was upgraded to a king bed room with a view for free. The room was large and the experience was great. The service staff was very polite. The breakfast was rich and everything was available. It's almost gone. Add it immediately. I will stay here again next time. By the way, the hotel has an outdoor swimming pool. I forgot to bring a swimsuit for my child...

I came to Suzhou Huqiu Wedding Dress City to buy a wedding dress. I chose the Shihao International Hotel for the night and booked a room for 4 people. The room was very large, with two independent rooms, separate bathrooms, and both had large beds. The toiletries are from L'Occitane, there is a cloakroom, a living room, kitchen and bathroom microwaves, and drinks in the refrigerator are all free. The bedding was comfortable, it was quiet, and I slept well. Clean and tidy. The hotel has convenient transportation and many restaurants. Not far away is Huaihai Street, which is a Japanese food street. Eating is convenient. The hotel breakfast is a bit simple, proportional to the price, and overall highly recommended!

Swimmingpool open 7:00am till about 22:40pm,just be polite and give them 20minutes to clean and tidy up,though they said open till 11:00am. Breakfast have lots of choices. There are rice noodles and noodles,dimsum,spring rolls, fried dumplings,local cusine such as:青团;发糕, stir-fried dishes。Cold dishes and cereals and yourghts. Fesh fruits. They have soyal bean milk, as well as normal milk. about 4-5 different juices. Coffee made to orders. They will bring your choice of coffee to you. The service is about 6star. Especially little details such as if you need any extra towels ,you can just dial operator. They will immediately bring to your room. Surrounding by shopping center and malls, make eating out easier,plenty choices. Overall this is a cost-efficient, great five star hotel for families even with elderly.

My friends and I booked two twin bedrooms to stay for one night. The rooms and the bathroom were clean, most of the staff were friendly and the breakfast was good. The only issue we had was that a Chinese guest was taking photos of us (foreigners) in the swimming pool, even though we told her to stop. We reported her to the life guards since there's a rule that says 'No Photography'. They did absolutely nothing to the woman, who took many pictures of us in our swimsuits, and was even laughing with her. We complained to the manager who did absolutely nothing... no checking the cameras, no penalizing the guest. He simply believed the lady as if she was the only paying guest. If you're a foreigner, beware of the pool area.

Polite front desk clerk. Room was OK, kind of average but no complaint. Window glass was unbelievably dirty that you don't want open the curtain even sunshine was beautiful. What really surprised me was breakfast. Food was obviously not matching Shangri-La brand equity. Maybe it was due to weekend promotion but no idea. When we arrived the table was not ready. I waited for the table yo be cleaned. A young lady came with tablewares. Before she did any cleaning she dropped the tablewares on the table and then about to clean. I asked her why she did that before cleaning. She realized something and moved the tablewares to a chair (CHAIR!) which is another surprise. But the best part has yet to start. She used a mop to rub on the table. I could see some food residues turning into paste and spreading on the table. The rest was wiped off to carpet...! Can you believe? How did you guys train and qualify new staff before the start working? I complained to the manager. Fortunately He understood and and cleaned the carpet. Shangri-La was one of my favorites. Hope it will continue to be.

Temporarily consciously went to Hanshan Temple and chose this small and beautiful inn next to the scenic spot. The owner's family is kind, kind and attentive, and staying in the inn is like visiting a friend's house. The decoration of the inn is simple and elegant, with great care in small details, and you can see the boss's attitude towards life. The room we booked is near the temple. The room is big enough. The gables and roofs of Hanshan Temple outside the window are scattered. The room is clean and tidy. Walk barefoot on tatami mats without dirty feet. The floors are high and there is no dampness of the old house. It is cramped, and there is no strange smell of the sewer; morning and evening are very quiet, the bed pillows are also comfortable; the only drawback is that the bathroom is relatively small. When the inn goes out, turn left and enter the Fengqiao Scenic Area within 20 meters. You can stroll around. There are night scenes at night, and Hanshan Temple is through the alleys. When you go out, turn right and walk to the main road where there is a place to eat. Tired of shopping, the sofa in the lobby of the inn is very comfortable, looking for a book, eating ice cream made by the proprietress herself, you can grind it all night. There is an orange cat called ”milk tea” in the inn, which can perform live performances for guests to lie down. It's not because of the typhoon, I really want to stay one more night.

The location of this place I saw on the Internet is very good, the style of the room decoration is also what I like, the room booked one day in advance. The Soviet-style garden buildings and white walls and black tiles were in line with my imagination in Suzhou. Surrounded by green trees and flowers, it blends the essence of traditional Suzhou gardens. Every corner reveals a strong cultural atmosphere. In the afternoon, you can see the beautiful scenery of Jiangfeng Yuhuo by the pavilion. The environment is still very good! Breakfast is the characteristic Suzhou pasta of the Hanshan Building provided by the B&B, which is also very appetizing to me. If I have the opportunity to come to Suzhou again, I will definitely choose to stay at this homestay without hesitation.

The hotel is affordable and convenient to travel. It is about one kilometer away from Hanshan Temple. It is very nice. The room is warmly furnished. The decoration style is my favorite. The hotel provides hot water 24 hours a day. The room was very good and the hotel mattress was very comfortable. The Wi-Fi speed in the room is also super fast, and there is a smart speaker to help turn on the lights and pull the curtains. You don't need to get out of bed on such a cold day, praise! There is also a free large parking lot, and the front desk lady is very meticulous and enthusiastic. highly recommended!

Not knowing Suzhou at all, I thought I had chosen a hotel to suit my needs for exploring the history whilst still being near the modern. This hotel is ideal for both. With a metro station (line 3) Shajinqiao, within a 10 minute walk, literally, just round the corner, and a taxi ride to either end of where I wanted to be costing me under 30RMB, this was an absolute gem of a find. On arrival, the staff were very good and extremely helpful. I was checked in without any fuss, with the usual pandemic checks, travel codes, health codes and I showed both 48hr and 24hr covid tests. The room was cosy, with excellent air-conditioning, a very comfortable bed and very clean. The toilet was intelligent, electronic and quite a novelty. It even warmed my posterior whilst sitting on it! The hotel provides a kettle and 2 free bottles of water daily though there may at one time have been a mini fridge, it was not there on this visit. Breakfast is served at reasonable times with the last orders being done 10:30am. (11 am at weekends). It is a decent spread, predominantly Chinese food, rice, vegetables, meats with cooked-to-order eggs, porridge (Chinese rice style) and a cold buffet. There are delicious pastries, toast and fruit. Tea and coffee are available along with a varied selection of fruit juices. The restaurant is airy, bright and clean. Plenty of seating is available. Room lighting was bright and cheerful but could be set to 'mood' which dimmed and made for a more intimate atmosphere. On Didi App, the hotel does not come under Atour Hotel. You will need to search for Yi He Cha Can Yin Guan Li You Xian Gong Si. At the time of writing, Suzhou was low risk. However, the recommendation was for Suzhou citizens not to travel and if they had to, to show a 48hr covid test. I had a bit of trouble with getting the app to work and thanks very much, eternal gratitude, to the wonderfully patient and supportive reception staff who all contributed, made phone calls and tried their best to get the app to work. Eventually, we succeeded. That is service and that was fantastic. Highly recommend this hotel.

Did not meet expectations. Building has issues. -Rooms had temperature issues that the AC could not handle, Hotel tries to handle this with curtains and a paper notice (see picture. With the curtains closed Room was 35°C at check-in in winter because the room was on the sunny side). -Lack of hot water for the shower/bath in the evening, hotel said it has trouble handling peak hours (and they weren't even fully booked). -Shoehorn dropped in the middle of the night, waking us. Hanger is a double sided tape variety. -Other obvious maintenance issues like the electrical socket being misaligned, and the toilet seat having bad gearing in the smart toilet. -No decaf coffee available in the room, the staff said there is none (did not even know what it was). Normally with this brand of coffee the decaf is in blue packets. -Breakfast was mediocre at best. Pretty standard mainland fare. Line to the noodle stall was excessive, and for everything else the quality was lacking. On the positive side, the pool and the sauna were satisfactory. Good parking too. Firm bed for those who like it. Staff was fairly responsive despite, although Chinese is helpful. And for one of the 3 rooms booked we got an upgrade (although all of the negatives above still apply)

The customer service at the front desk was very considerate, warmly said hello for your hard work, checked in quickly, and took the initiative to upgrade the buffet breakfast! The room layout is unique, and the best thing is the restaurant on the first floor! Eating there is a gourmet experience!
