Foshan Hotels with Pools

I called ahead before checking in. The room wasn't bad, and the hygiene met expectations. There were other tall buildings outside the window, so the river view was obstructed. The bidet in the toilet would spray water simultaneously when I pressed the warm air dry button, which caused splashing (／(ｴ)＼). The central air conditioning in the room only showed temperature, fan speed, and Celsius/Fahrenheit, and was adjustable. I felt these two facilities were a bit old. The hotel's internet speed was fast, and the room's curtains were blackout blinds, offering excellent light blocking. The hotel's gym, pool, and sauna were good and quite clean. I didn't eat at the restaurant; we went out to eat since we were in Shunde. The complimentary welcome drink at the River View Lobby Bar was a nice touch.

The room was nice. The location is a bit isolated, but there's a tram station just outside the building, so it wasn't a problem. The only real issue is that the rooms aren't exactly what's shown in the photos or described in the listing. I booked the Queen Business Room and got a regular room instead. When I asked about it, I was told that the pictures are ”for reference only” and that the listed amenities are just what you might get - assigned randomly - not what's actually guaranteed to be in your room. So my advice: book the basic room only. The premium rooms are exactly the same, just more expensive.

My first stay at the Crowne Plaza Foshan Nanhai Litao was absolutely perfect! The hotel is located by Wenhan Lake, with a design that incorporates Lingnan Kung Fu elements. The lobby is grand and elegant, creating a fantastic atmosphere. The room had panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows, offering a wide view of the lake. The room itself was clean and tidy, with soft and comfortable bedding. The bathroom had a wet and dry separation, and all amenities were complete, making for a very relaxing stay. The front desk service was professional and thoughtful, and check-in was efficient and smooth. The staff were gentle and polite, responding quickly to any requests. The breakfast buffet offered a rich variety, with a full selection of Chinese and Western dishes, as well as local specialties, all tasting great. The hotel facilities are excellent, with a heated swimming pool, gym, and children's playground, offering many leisure options. The location is superb, close to Guangzhou South Railway Station, making travel convenient. It's suitable for both business trips and family vacations. The quality of the InterContinental brand is evident, and overall I'm very satisfied. I will definitely choose this hotel again when I come to Foshan next time. Highly recommended.

My first time staying at this Sheraton, and while it's not brand new, it offers great value for money. The room had a small balcony, and the location is excellent! From the hotel, a taxi to Fengjian Water Town was about 46 RMB (a bit far), to Fisherman's Wharf was about 17 RMB, and it took only 9 minutes to get to Daliang Shunde Fisherman's Village for dim sum... As a stopover and resupply point, it's more than sufficient. Big shout-out to Gavin Zhao Peilin at the front desk! He was incredibly helpful with his detailed recommendations; clearly, he's a local who knows all the best places to eat and drink.

The room was great! Even though it had carpet, it was very well-maintained. The facilities were quite new. This is probably the best hotel in the area. The breakfast was quite rich! The only thing is that the croissants 🥐 weren't as flaky and soft as those at American brand hotels; they really need to find a better pastry supplier. Everything else was good! It was very dark and quiet at night, which was a huge plus! The front desk team provided excellent service! I would consider staying here again!

I had a very comfortable stay here. The staff were all very polite. I heard that the hotel's mooncakes are quite famous, not just locally but throughout the Pearl River Delta, so I bought a box to take back for my colleagues to try. A special shout-out to Front Desk Manager Ou!

Seriously blown away, it felt really good overall. Everything seemed pretty great, except for one small thing: the bathrobe wasn't replaced with a fresh one when the room was cleaned, even though I didn't use it, haha. But those are minor issues! I have to specifically mention that the room itself was excellent; the curtains were really blackout, and the bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable to sleep on. Seriously great!

This stay far exceeded my expectations – a definite five-star experience! Check-in at the front desk was super quick. They proactively informed me about my member benefits and breakfast times, and even arranged a quiet room on a high floor as requested. The room was spacious and bright, with soft bedding and pillows that offered different firmness levels. The soundproofing and blackout curtains were excellent, so I slept soundly until I woke up naturally. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, with strong hot water and quality toiletries. Breakfast offered a wide variety, both Chinese and Western options. The live noodle/rice noodle station served authentic flavors, and even the coffee was good quality. Public areas were clean, and the gym and pool were well-maintained. If there was an executive lounge, the afternoon tea and evening happy hour snacks and drinks were all on point. The staff were polite and approachable from start to finish; they were quick to assist with luggage, calling a taxi, or directions. This hotel is suitable for both business trips and leisure, and I'll definitely be staying at this Hilton again the next time I visit this city.

I took my child out for Children's Day. Facilities: To be honest, the play facilities are a bit old, but there are many food options inside, and the prices are cheaper than X-Long. We chose the stargazing room, and my child loved it, but I hope the cleanliness can be improved. Some hidden corners weren't cleaned properly, and there was a lot of dust in the room. The hotel package included access to the amusement park, but many facilities required additional payment, which felt a bit like a rip-off. What I did enjoy was the swimming and hot springs. It feels like Changlu really wants to be a resort, but perhaps due to the current economic downturn, it hasn't been able to maintain itself well. Overall, it was still an enjoyable trip. I hope Changlu improves!

It was okay. Price was still cheap, even during the holiday. First thing, if you want to find a reception of the hotel, you go to the given location, then look at the building to your right with the KFC and on the second floor, you can find the office / reception. You can climb up the stairs from behind the building. The stairs from the pedestrian street, not from the road. Then they will give you the location and the code of your room. The apartments are in the nearby buildings, 10 minutes walk from the reception. So the location of the hotel given here on trip.com is just the reception, the apartments are not exactly on the lake. Apartment was really nice, everything was clean. The bathroom is huge, it has a nice big shower. Beds were wide and soft. Balcony is also nice. You will have a problem if you are a light sleeper, since the main door of the apartment is not thick. There is a 1cm gap between the floor and the door, also on the sides. So all the noise in the hall is literally in your room. During this holiday a lot of families with kids were staying in the same building, so noises and cooking smells were all around. But I must say, inside the room everything was tidy and good.
