Ningbo Hotels with Pools

Two days in advance, I added the housekeeper's WeChat and booked the meal and hot spring time. It is more convenient to drive there. After locating their parking lot, a housekeeper will pick us up to check in at the B&B. The room is still clean as a whole, with everything it should have. The welcome fruits and flowers are still very warm. There is only a window on the top to watch the starry sky. The glass is a little dirty after a long time, but it doesn't affect it at night. After that, we walked around. The content of the B&B is still very complete, with a large room for dinner, facilities for children to play, hot springs and swimming pools, and places to read and drink tea. Walking out of the B&B, the village is peaceful and quiet. Walk around and feel the environment and culture of Maoao Village. I made an appointment for dinner and hot springs in the evening at the B&B. Because it is a reservation system, it is equivalent to a private soup, which feels good. Half an hour is completely enough. The dinner tastes good, and the chef gives a good review. The above.

Facilities: The facilities are comprehensive, the room is spacious and comfortable. I especially loved the separate small room ✌️. The gym equipment is also good, quite large and sufficient. Hygiene: The room was cleaned very well. Stepping into the room felt like coming home. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Ningbo. Environment: There's construction across the street, but it didn't affect anything at all; there was no noise. The hotel even provides earplugs, which is a nice touch. It's also conveniently located right next to Banji. Service: Miya, my apartment manager, was incredibly dedicated and responsible – thumbs up! 👍 The breakfast at this hotel is also delicious, especially the scallion oil noodles 🍜. Overall, I'd give it 5 stars.

♥️Room We were upgraded to a standalone villa – it was new, very quiet, and spacious, with a small courtyard! The twin beds could be moved together. The toilet, shower, and sink were in a separate area, and there was a dressing table too! ♥️Breakfast Most of the items were Ningbo specialties! Tangyuan (glutinous rice balls), wontons, handmade noodles, pancakes, sticky rice balls, wheat rolls, youzanzi (fried dough twists), douhua (tofu pudding)... everything was really delicious! The restaurant itself was very unique, with multiple doorways leading through, and even a wall covered in greenery. ♥️Service I felt their dedication even before checking in! We unfortunately encountered a typhoon, so they swapped out our outdoor activities from the package. There was a dedicated shuttle for check-in, and we received a fruit platter! The butler was also available 24/7. Other hotels often try to get you to spend more, but not here – they were always very thoughtful in helping us solve problems! ♥️Facilities If you're traveling with kids like us, this hotel is perfect! It has an indoor playground, a swimming pool, and intangible cultural heritage craft activities! There were also tons of activities during the summer (details in the photos). Outside the hotel, within 1.5 km, there are many shops, so it's convenient for food, drinks, and other necessities! We also received a 3-day free parking pass upon check-in.

Choosing the Wyndham Grand Plaza Royale Ningbo for my recent trip to Ningbo was absolutely the right decision! It definitely deserves a five-star rating! Let's start with the hardware – the rooms are spacious, the carpets are soft, making for a very comfortable stay. The bathroom, paved with white marble, feels very luxurious, and the addition of a smart toilet and a large bathtub is fantastic! Now, for the 'software' – the service – which truly deserves a special mention. I've stayed in many five-star hotels, and the service here is by far the best! When we checked in, the gentleman who assisted us was incredibly polite and well-mannered, and he even managed to upgrade our room when possible. The other staff members were seamlessly coordinated, whether it was helping with luggage storage or directing us to the elevators. Every time we left, the doormen and lobby concierges were so friendly and always waved goodbye, making us feel truly at home. The breakfast was also superb, and I even got to try the famous Ningbo tangyuan (rice balls). Ningbo is a beautiful city that left a lasting impression. When our trip ended, the hotel even arranged a car to take us to the airport. All connections were smooth and convenient. Even at checkout, the 'bellhop' proactively offered assistance, telling us to simply hand her the room card. The driver who took us to the airport was also incredibly polite! If there were a six-star rating, they would definitely earn it. Too bad I didn't take many photos!

The panoramic terrace suite we booked this time was definitely the best room in the entire hotel. Apparently, there are only two such suites in total, one on the sixth floor and one on the seventh. We got the one on the seventh floor, which is the outermost top-floor position shown in the first picture. The great thing about this location is that it's far from the central area, making it very quiet (the pool area can get quite noisy with activities). The view towards the reservoir is completely open, filled with lush greenery, and the scenery is fantastic. The terrace on the seventh floor is smaller than the one on the sixth, but in exchange, the indoor space is an entire extra room larger. During this Dragon Boat Festival, it was hot and rainy, so having this extra air-conditioned room turned out to be even more practical than the terrace. I was quite satisfied with the room's facilities and layout. However, there was one issue: on both nights, large flying insects (beetles) somehow got into the room. It seems like there might be a gap somewhere that isn't properly sealed (I don't think we let them in when opening the door, as bugs this size would be very noticeable). I suggest the hotel checks this. The hotel offers a wealth of activities suitable for families. This time, we mainly enjoyed the lake boat ride, the swimming pool, and go-karts. My child loved it and had a great time, insisting I give a five-star review! Regarding dining, the breakfast quality doesn't quite match that of a typical five-star hotel, though the variety is decent. The hotel's Chinese restaurant offers average, run-of-the-mill lunch and dinner options, and the prices aren't too expensive. Driving half an hour to Zhenhai offers more choices. The hotel's butler service was quite attentive, and all the staff we encountered were very friendly. The small gift received upon check-out was also a nice touch. Overall, our experience this time was very good.

This hotel is nestled deep in the mountains, reached by winding roads. The natural forest environment is simply breathtaking – the air is fresh, and the trees, flowers, and insects all live in perfect harmony. The rooms are uniquely built into the mountainside. They're a bit on the smaller side and show some signs of age. Due to the high temperatures, it was incredibly hot when we checked in during the afternoon, and the small loft in the room felt like a sauna. However, it became quite comfortable once the temperature dropped in the evening. Waking up to the picturesque scenery and pleasant temperatures was lovely. I imagine spring and autumn would be even more ideal times to visit. The hotel has an outdoor pool, but it was too sunny to enjoy properly. A big shout-out to the butler, who was a definite plus – so warm, patient, and attentive. We had dinner at the hotel, which you need to book a day in advance. The food was decent, nothing spectacular but perfectly fine. Breakfast is served individually, with each person getting a portion of various main dishes. It was enough to eat and avoided any waste. There's a gentle rafting spot not far from the hotel, but we didn't have time to try it. We also found a stream for溯溪 (stream trekking) about 30 minutes away by car. The hotel's location is a bit remote, so exploring nearby attractions or finding other dining options is inconvenient. It's a good idea to bring some snacks or food with you. The hotel could consider developing more activities to attract additional guests. Another bonus: it's pet-friendly!

Wanted to go to the beach outside the hotel, but didn't have the right shoes. What to do? You can exit from the outdoor pool on the first floor of the Haitain Building. After registering, you can get a hand tag and change into a pair of slippers in the changing room. You can only exit to the beach; returning to the hotel requires a small detour. On the first day, the water looked a bit yellowish, which was a bit disappointing, but unexpectedly, the next day the sea color was much more normal. I wonder if it has something to do with the tides and waves? Plus, with the cloudy weather, it was perfect for photos! The food at both the buffet and the Chinese restaurant was good. The Chinese restaurant's dishes are made to order, so they're very fresh, and the prices are acceptable. For children over 1.5 meters, breakfast costs an additional 79 yuan.

Staying at the Marriott in Ningbo was a great choice for my trip. The high-ceilinged lobby immediately sets a wonderful atmosphere, but what really stood out was the incredibly warm service from Ayla at the front desk. Her check-in process wasn't rushed or robotic; she spoke softly and attentively, even kindly recommending a great spot to catch the beautiful Three Rivers night view in the evening. The whole check-in was seamless, and every detail showed genuine care. It added a comforting warmth to my journey. Overall, a fantastic stay!

Before coming here, I saw quite a few negative reviews about the Park Hyatt Ningbo on Xiaohongshu (a Chinese social media platform), and I was honestly a bit nervous. But after staying for two days, I have to say – you really can't trust all the online reviews; experiencing it yourself is key! This hotel is simply excellent! I was impressed from the moment we got out of the car. The bellboy was incredibly quick; as soon as our car stopped, he jogged over, promptly opened the door, greeted us warmly, and efficiently helped us carry all our luggage to the room. He was smiling the whole time, and that genuine service instantly put us at ease. Check-in at the front desk was also seamless. All the staff members were smiling and patiently introduced us to the hotel's facilities. Knowing we had a child, they thoughtfully recommended family-friendly routes. What touched me the most was the housekeeper on our floor; she knew our child drank a lot of water, so every day when cleaning the room, she would proactively replenish several extra bottles of mineral water. This kind of thoughtful attention felt genuinely warm, like family. And the breakfast? Simply outstanding. The variety was super rich, with authentic Ningbo specialties like Mianjie Tangmian (noodle knot soup) and handmade Tangyuan (glutinous rice balls). Both Chinese and Western pastries were abundant. Our whole family was incredibly satisfied. Let's talk about the environment. The entire hotel is transformed from an ancient village, with a Chinese garden where every step reveals a beautiful scene. The lake view facing Dongqian Lake is breathtakingly beautiful; every casual photo looks like a masterpiece. The Qianhu Fishing Port restaurant inside is also a Black Pearl restaurant (a prestigious Chinese dining guide), with both taste and service being excellent. After staying here for two days, from the concierge to the front desk, to the housekeeping, to the restaurant, every staff member was warm and attentive, completely unlike what some online reviews claimed. So, I really urge everyone not to be swayed by those one-sided reviews. Come and stay once, and you'll know how good it is. The next time I come to Ningbo, I will definitely choose this place again. Five-star highly recommended!

The family room is a two-bedroom apartment with a living room, and both bedrooms have TVs, which is very convenient. However, our room faced the road, not the Sanjiang River. I'm not sure if there are also parent-child rooms on the opposite side. The soundproofing is excellent, and we slept well. The room decor has an old-money style. The front desk service was very responsive and friendly. The parking lot is a bit old. The location is convenient; you can walk to Tianyi Square. The popular shops like Jimau Duitang and A Mao Restaurant are also within walking distance, and the food is quite good. It's easy to rent an electric scooter downstairs, and you can ride to the Old Bund, which is also not far if you prefer to walk.
