なるくんThis was our second stay, and I truly believe it's the best hotel in the Seomyeon area. The building itself is brand new, so the common areas and guest rooms are incredibly clean and well-maintained.
There's another hotel in the same building, but HLB's rooms are on the upper floors, and it seems the elevators and front desk are shared. It's about a 5-minute walk from the station, and there's a bus stop right in front of the hotel, making access superb.
Also, on the first floor, there's a bakery and a 24-hour convenience store, which was incredibly useful for late-night snacks and essentials. The room was very spacious, equipped with a large refrigerator, induction hob, kettle, and washing machine. True to its ”Residence” name, you can really live comfortably and self-sufficiently in the room. The toilet is a bidet type, and flushing toilet paper was not an issue.
The power outlets by the bed are universal, so Japanese plugs can be used directly. However, other outlets are SE type, so if you plan to use multiple electronic devices, I recommend bringing a converter plug.
While the front desk staff doesn't speak Japanese, they are all fluent in English, so we had no trouble communicating.
The shower water pressure was fine, but the drainage in the bathroom was poor, causing water to accumulate easily. Also, I think it would be very helpful if they provided a washing machine guide in Korean and English (and Japanese, if possible) in the room. I would definitely like to stay here again on my next visit to Busan.

Anonymous UserThis is undoubtedly the top choice for luxury stays in Haeundae, Busan. Our entire experience was perfect, and traveling with kids here filled us with happiness!
The hotel building is an iconic sail-shaped glass structure. Stepping into the 30th-floor lobby, we were immediately captivated by the panoramic ocean views. The check-in staff were gentle and attentive, and their English communication was flawless. Upon learning we were traveling with children, they proactively offered kids' toiletries, a truly thoughtful detail.
We booked a sea-view room, with floor-to-ceiling windows directly facing the ocean and Gwangan Bridge. We enjoyed breathtaking sunrises, sunsets, and the stunning bridge nightscape. The room featured Park Hyatt's signature minimalist yet luxurious style, with hardwood floors and a spacious granite bathroom. The bathtub offered direct ocean views, making a soak while gazing at the sea the perfect cure for travel fatigue. The bedding was soft and quiet, and the soundproofing was excellent, ensuring our child's nap was undisturbed. The walk-in closet provided ample storage space for luggage and children's toys.
The breakfast view was spectacular, offering a wide variety of Chinese, Western, and Korean dishes. The Korean seafood porridge, freshly made omelets, and local pastries were all fresh and delicious. Dining by the window with ocean views created an amazing ambiance. The heated indoor pool was clean and uncrowded, with a comfortable water temperature, perfect for kids to enjoy. The gym was well-equipped, offering a relaxing way to unwind after a day of exploring.
The location is superb, right below the marina and yacht area. It's within walking distance to The Bay 101, and a short taxi ride to Haeundae Beach and Shinsegae Department Store, making it convenient for both shopping and beach visits. There are plenty of convenience stores and cafes downstairs, so daily necessities are never an issue.
For anniversaries or birthdays, they even offer a small cake and a handwritten card, showcasing their warm and meticulous service. The only minor drawback is that the room rates are higher during peak season, but the views, facilities, and service perfectly match the price. For those seeking high-quality sea-view accommodation and family vacations, I highly recommend Park Hyatt Busan. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit to Busan!

Excellent location for a new and clean hotel, living up to Lotte's standards, and being in Haeundae adds to the relaxed vacation vibe. The third floor offers ice buckets and wine glasses, creating a lovely holiday atmosphere. You can also grab a bite in the pantry if you like, but I appreciate that no food is allowed in the lobby – it would get too messy otherwise! Right outside, you're on Haeundae Beach, perfect for swimming, strolling, or shopping. The breakfast was more than satisfying for me!

Anonymous UserThe room was clean and tidy, and the staff were warm and attentive. It rained throughout my stay, so I didn't go out to explore and just stayed at the hotel. The hotel has direct access to Lotte Department Store, the underground shopping street, and the subway station, making shopping, dining, and getting around incredibly convenient.

Straight out of Busan Station, it's about 800 meters. Check-in was very smooth, the front desk lady had already arranged it. The room was very clean! It even had a clothes dryer, which was super cool and came with Chinese instructions. Downstairs, there are lots of places to eat, like soup and rice, grilled squid, and fried chicken.

서녕inThis feels like a luxury hotel, but the substance is lacking…
1. **No in-room phone.** If I wanted to call the front desk, I had to use my own phone to find the number in the booklet and dial it.
2. **Low floors are… well.** The 'ocean view' was useless. Some building's water tank and a Holly's coffee shop blocked most of it. I had to crawl on the floor, taking 5,000 photos, to get just one decent shot. So, if you're on a low floor, you'll have to crawl to see the ocean! Okay, maybe this is my fault for not paying more for a higher floor. BUT, the room photos in the introduction made it seem like there was an unobstructed ocean view, which feels like a scam. There weren't many hotel reviews, so I couldn't have known. I feel cheated.
3. **The biggest problem is privacy.** The toilet faces a window, and the jacuzzi and shower are also in front of full-length windows. Since it's a low floor, you can make eye contact with people in the cafe across the street. My bathroom breaks, showers, and jacuzzi use could all be public! I don't know if the windows are meant to be covered, but it felt very awkward. I had to keep the blinds fully down to use the bathroom and jacuzzi, which defeats the purpose of an 'ocean view' and felt very stifling. They told me not to close the jacuzzi window because of humidity, but the shower is right there, and I almost froze showering!
Seriously, you'd think they'd put more thought into the design, even beyond the ocean view…
4. **The room is so big, but there are no mirrors anywhere** you’d expect one! Only the bathroom mirror, which made doing makeup and getting dressed in the morning incredibly inconvenient.
5. **I used a barrier-free room, but as an able-bodied person, I didn't feel any consideration for disabled guests.** Even I, a seasoned traveler in my 20s, had trouble distinguishing between the shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. I almost ran out of hot water in the shower trying to figure it out. The labels are tiny and on the back somewhere, so you have to really search. Couldn't they use dedicated bottles or at least proper labeling?
6. **There's no room service or similar services, but other services are expensive.** Maybe I just couldn't find it, but usually, hotel F&B services are in the in-room booklet, aren't they? There was nothing. Okay, maybe because it's a lower-star hotel, it wouldn't have it. BUT, late check-out extension costs 33,000 won (which isn't cheaper than other luxury hotels). So, the standard doesn't reach luxury hotel levels, but the service fees feel comparable to one. Breakfast also felt similar, so I didn't use it.
Considering all of this, if you're just looking for a cost-effective place, it's okay.

Guest UserStaff is helpful, tried to understand our needs and gave us what we needed. In addition, the hotel made efforts to welcome the BTS Army, putting up welcome message in the lifts, creating relevant info sheets to let us know how to get around and also about places that could be of our interest. During breakfast, piano music of BTS songs was played and MVs were also screened. We enjoyed ourselves there despite being given a room which window does not have a view because there is a building right next to this hotel. The view that was bragged about was available to us only when we went up to the rooftop swimming pool.

Iana BernadinaIt was difficult to find the hotel; the address on Trip.com's map didn't match, confusing it with the building next door.
The reception staff were friendly. However, in the morning, when I wanted to have breakfast, the lady asked me to pay an extra 18,000 won for it, even though I had already paid. We had trouble understanding each other, and I had to pay again to eat. For that price, not even coffee was included with breakfast.
The pool was nice and warm.

Guest UserThis hotel boasts an incredibly convenient and prime location. It's super close to the subway station, roughly 200 meters away, and just across the street is the beach! Our room even had a sea view, and the room itself was very spacious and comfortable. Downstairs, it's bustling with lots of restaurants, convenience stores, and even a market street. It's a truly perfect place to stay, and I'll definitely be back here on my next trip to Busan.
