Graceland Khaolak Beach Resort Reviews

This was my second time staying here, and it was just as fantastic as the first! I brought my friends along this time and let them book with full confidence, and the hotel didn’t disappoint. The check-in was smooth, thanks to “Jar or Jag” and “Angel”, who were incredibly helpful and professional. Our room was ready on arrival, spotless, and comfortable. Breakfast felt like a royal experience, so much variety and great quality. Graceland Khaolak continues to exceed expectations. Highly recommended, and I’ll definitely be back again!

Very satisfied with that Hotel. Beautiful Location on the beach. Even have bowling. Clean and beautiful surrounding. Friendly and helpful staff.

Nicely maintaned environment and greeneries.. The rooms are dated but cleanly maintained. Average breakfast.

Some extra maintenance is needed for the overall facilities. The coffee service in the breakfast is not smooth (many years coming to this hotel and they still don´t solve it). Poor breakfast (in 10 days always the same fruits were served, there aren´t fresh juices, the bakery quality is not good...). The rest is amazing.

Got a great room upgrade which was lovely but they REALLY need to stop the guests from staking out sun beds and reserving them all day and hardly using them. Sign says not to do it and belongings will be removed but never saw it done, not even once. Also free shuttle bus was always booked out but come the day, nowhere near full. Just go along on the day and you’ll likely get a seat due to inconsiderates booking and then not using.

Was booked as a birthday treat. If you like organised activities and timetables then it's for you. On arrival they asked for passports, out to the car to get, then voucher, out to the car to get, then a copy of my credit card. Really was not happy with that and thought it unnecessary as they had details from booking as the room was paid for,it made me very uncomfortable. The main swimming pool was large but had only one place to get in so was a long walk. We ate outside the hotel at one of the many less expensive restaurants. Our view from our room in block 13 overlooked a dilapidated roof of the Thai themed restaurant, didn't compel us to eat there. The room itself was comfortable and clean and we loved the dressing gown, it's our thing. WiFi around the resort was good. Sunset memorable. A great place for families that like a package holiday. Not for us.

The hotel is excellent, gorgeous territory, large swimming pool, private beach, excellent breakfasts. Very friendly staff, clean well, wash floors every day and change towels and linen. The rooms are a little tired, but everything works. Large balcony with a table, bench and clothes dryer. We used the spa services, the prices are of course higher than in the salons on the street, but the massage is in a separate room, everything is clean and the quality of the massage is very high. The hotel has bowling, billiards, a gym. The territory is like a large garden - birds sing in the morning. The only minus is the lack of disposable slippers, but the floors are clean and we walked barefoot.

Good hotel. Excellent breakfasts. Well-kept territory. Large clean beach. Of the minuses - no children's pool. Everything else is great.

It was a very good vacation experience. Suitable for both family and lovers. The accommodation is comfortable. The breakfast is very good. I recommend it.

The hotel is large, beautiful, well-kept grounds, very good breakfast. I lowered the rating for the service because when checking in at 3 p.m., which is later than most hotels, the room was ready only at 4 p.m., I think this is unacceptable. Also, when checking in, they ask for $500, although the booking site says a deposit of 3,000 baht.

The hotel is generally very good. Large, luxurious, well-kept territory with its own pond, a sea of ​​greenery. Near each residential building there is a swimming pool and a large common pool. There are only 2 children's paddling pools, very small, 60 cm deep. There is a small children's playroom. The toys there are in good condition, not broken. Breakfast is a chic buffet with a large selection of dishes! A large variety of fruits. The children's area always included 4 different dishes, there was always rice porridge, the second porridge was different every day, but not always cooked well. A good tea and coffee area, but there was always a queue for coffee. There were no freshly squeezed juices, but there were 3 types of different juices like yuppie. The hotel has its own beach with sun loungers, the staff were always ready to help find and bring a sun lounger wherever you want, if there were not enough sun loungers, you could borrow a mat from the staff at the bar. For children, there was a box with sand molds. The beach itself is sandy with a large number of corals and shells of different sizes. There are especially many of them when entering the sea, and since the water itself is not transparent, you can’t see all this stuff, it’s not comfortable to go in without coral slippers. The beach is not convenient for staying with small children, the shore is already quite deep, especially during high tide, but bearable during low tide. If you’re unlucky with the weather and there are big waves, swimming will be impossible, it’s dangerous, the waves knock you off your feet, plus you can get abrasions on the corals. We were there in early December, it seemed like the height of the season, but the waves were terrible for 7 days out of 12. Near the hotel in the beach area on the left side outside the territory there is a tuktuk taxi every day, 2 pickups with fruits and coconuts, a pickup cafe where you can order freshly prepared popular Thai dishes at very nice prices, they leave in the evening. A little further on the same side there are several cafes where you can have dinner with a view of the sea. The hotel has several restaurants, but the prices there are much higher than average. There are also cafes and shops outside the area from the entrance, those close to the hotels with higher prices, those a little further with more reasonable prices. We found the cafe "Martini" on the recommendation of tourists. It is delicious, good prices, many compliments in the form of fruits: before meals, after meals, and when you leave. In general, all the necessary infrastructure is within walking distance, except for pharmacies. The hotel has a free shuttle to the center of Khao Lak and the night market, you need to sign up for the transfer at the reception well in advance of the trip. It happens that someone who signed up does not show up, and then you can leave on the same day. Departs at 15.30, goes back to the hotel at 18.30. The hotel also has a lot of entertainment, bowling, billiards, table tennis, tennis, badminton, archery, karaoke (but no Russian repertoire, which is surprising, given that there are always quite a lot of Russian guests), there is a good gym with a view of the garden, a crossfit room, a yoga room with mirrors. On the beach in good weather you can play volleyball every evening, in the morning on the beach near the bar from 10.00 they do exercises. Most of these entertainments are paid. Bowling 150 baht per person for 1 game, plus, if you do not have socks, you will have to buy them for 30 baht 1 pair. On Mondays at 15.00 for children by appointment there is free bowling 1 game. Of the free table tennis, badminton. For badminton and the gym you must have closed sports shoes, otherwise you will not be allowed in. If you need a late check-out from the hotel, you need to book it at least a day before check-in, it will not be possible to do it on the day of check-in. If you have a late flight and you have not booked a late check-out, you can leave your things at the reception, spend the day on the beach or on the hotel grounds, you are allowed to use the shower in the entertainment complex, where the gym is, there is everything you need, towels, shower, everything for a shower, a comfortable toilet. Upon check-in, they took a deposit of 500 bucks, which was an unpleasant surprise. The UP card from RSHB worked in the hotel. There were mosquitoes, they bit, especially after sunset. On the beach you can take a SUP, Kayak for a fee of course. Large parking lot.
