"I booked a deluxe double room for just one night. We were very happy with our room, which was spacious, clean and well appointed. The bed was very comfortable as were the pillows. The welcome from Reception was warm and friendly. There is parking at the hotel but this is run by NCP and costs just under £10 for a 24 hour stay. Payment is via an APP so I suggest installing that on your phone before you arrive. There is not the option to pay by cash or card at the machine. The hotel itself is very charming, with individually decorated bedrooms and a host of period features and furniture in the public rooms. We were meeting my son for dinner in a nearby restaurant for dinner so cannot comment on the Dining Room and we opted out of breakfast as we had an early lunch arranged. We did enjoy some cocktails in Brazz, where the service and quality of the drinks were appreciated."

"This is a hotel with a British character, located just across the road from Taunton Railway Station, but not noisy. Although it is a long history, the painting and protection are excellent. Breakfast is English, the weight is very large, the taste, I personally like it. But, after all, it is an old house, there is no elevator, and it is very inconvenient to have a lot of luggage. Moreover, the faucet and shower are more difficult to adjust, and the water temperature may be hot! However, the heating is really good and it is also hot. The young lady who serves here is very beautiful and patient."

"I was really worried that I would have a room further away. Lucky we had took next to each other and a door in between each room. So we can be close but separate at the same time. Booked here as my children love the vhooxe of breakfast!"

"We stayed 1 night to break up a long journey. Excellent location right at Taunton Deane Services. Check in was quick and easy, room was large with double bed and single bed for our 9 year old. It was clean and warm perfect for us. Will definitely use again"
