A True Hidden Gem!! My wife and I were looking for a place to unplug. A sanctuary place to forget the Hussle of life. This place is the perfect place to unwind, relax and smile a lot. Our cottage was charming and inviting. Flora everywhere bright and fragrant. Sculptured grounds and beach put you at ease. We were amazed at the amount of aquatic visitors! Manatees, nurse sharks, and dolphins out in the bay are some of the sea life you see. Both Steve and Sue's our hosts are warm natured, friendly and gracious. Like accidentally meeting your best friends on vacation 😁. This trip was sorely needed and way beyond our expectations. If your looking for a authentic above expectation Key Largo experience. Put yourself in Sue, Steve and the Island Bay Resort capable hands.

This place is a real gem,very clean,not crowded very relaxing.It was nice to use the kayaks on the bay. This resort is located just off route 1 but you would never know it, when you enter the resort there are palm trees and flowering plants to make this place special.

This place is so wonderful! The grounds are gorgeous! The room was so inviting and beds very comfortable. Beach was fun and very well maintained. Enjoying the sunset from the pier chairs was a plus. No problem setting out at nite without getting bitten by anything. Totally awesome place to stay!!!!

An exceptional experience! There isn't one thing is change. The resort is gorgeous. Beautifully manicured grounds. The beach is quiet and beautiful. They have kayaks, swim and snorkeling gear. I saw many beautiful tropical fish while snorkeling just off the beach. The room was very well appointed with everything you need and then some. A great outdoor sitting area. Friendly, family owned. Would love to go back!

An excellent boutique hotel. Charming rooms with a fully equipped kitchen The staff is attentive and professional. Even gave us a free jump start on our car. The place has its own private beach with all the water toys complimentary. A great place to watch the sunset

First time there. This place is absolutely the best. It has a great beach set up with a handful of people. Resort only has 10 units.. The grounds are something out of a tropical forest. Sue and Scott are great! Best sunsets ever! Soon as I can book for April of 25, I will, and the year after and so on……

Absolutely love this place! Very secluded very quiet very few people. The grounds are gorgeous. The staff is excellent. The accommodations are immaculate. Everything you could ask for in a private couples vacation. Can’t ask for anything more!

Immaculate. The grounds are beautiful with attention to detail. They have thought of everything. It is very quiet and peaceful. Tavernier is a great location to see the Keys. We went snorkeling, kayaking and drove to Key West. Would absolutely recommend!

Lauren and her team took care of us throughout our stay. The unit was very clean and had housekeeping available whenever we needed. They had a security gate that you needed a code to get into so very private. We went to the beach quite a bit and it was just so immaculate, beautiful surroundings, wonderful place to stay.
