Shangri-La Hotel Tianjin Reviews

I had a wonderful stay - this was made so by the attentiveness and cheeriness of the staff. In particular, Ruby did a fantastic job at checkin and Maggie and her colleagues at Horizon Club were so welcoming. Definitely returning!

This hotel is good location and rooom is clean. Staff service is also perfect. If I travel to Tianjin again, I want to stay again.

The Shangri-La, Tianjin, is, and has always been our favorite Hotel to visit. This week was a special celebration for us, as we celebrated our 15th Wedding anniversary, as well as our 4th consecutive year in China. We relocated to another City / Province, about two years ago, and was unable to visit and enjoy our special Shangri-La. Prior to us moving from Tianjin, we used to celebrate all our special occasions and milestones, at this branch of Shangri-La. We would always spend our Christmas, New Years, and Chinese New Year's at Shangri-La. Now that we have returned to Heibei, we look forward to continuing this tradition. Things change over time, some familiar faces are no longer working there. However, the new team made us feel right at home again, and went out of their way to make our stay most memorable and special. As I mentioned to one of the team members, it's not the spectacular Lobby Lounge, nor the beautifully decorated features, that make the establishment, but rather the people. Without quality staff and superior service, no establishment can ever rely on reoccurring business. For as long as these values are in place, this Shangri-La can be certain of our patronage. All team members provided excellent service, from the bellhop, to the waitresses, from the front of house to the housekeeping and of course the management team. Special thanks to "Francis", the new General Manager, "Danny", the Food and Beverage Director, as well as "Billy", the "Food and Beverage" Manager. This trio of Management, ensured that we received the best service possible. Lastly, we would like to thank "Roger" whom assisted us with a Driver / Transportation, upon our early departure. No visit to Tianjin, would ever truly be complete, with visiting The Shangri-La. See you soon.

Luxurious hotel situated close to the river. Rooms are relatively small however the views are great. Room service food was delicious and the breakfast spread was lovely

I talked to shangri-La hotel stuff Mr.Omi about my desire to celebrate my wife's birthday in Shangri-La, and that guy was the best, he definitely was the right guy to talk to, he is a good listener and very assistive. My wife and I were amazed by what shangri-La hotel offered us and prepared for her birthday, I just can't thank the Shangri-La hotel staff and especially Mr.Omi enough for the amazing weekend we spent at Shangri-La, Tianjin.

Beautiful hotel and rooms. The view from my window was breathtaking . Breakfast service was amazing.

Great view! I stayed here for a night after a late flight into Tianjin Binhai Airport and I would highly recommend this place for a convenient location, delicious breakfast, clean room and nice amenities. Only 20-25 minutes from the airport and less than 5 minutes to Tianjin Train Station via car, I was able to catch my train even though I was running late. I would come back here if I ever need to stay the night in Tianjin.

Very short stay but was a great experience during Chinese New Year. Service was great and the room was perfect. Very nice view as well!

Stayed for spring festival, best decision I’ve made in a while!!! What an amazing view, and on top of that staff that is friendly and on top of their game. If you have the opportunity, do yourself a favor and book a stay. You won’t be sorry.
