There is parking, our room was lovely and spacious and very clean with a sea view. Breakfast was lovely and you can have anything you like. Kevin is a great host and we will definitely be back wouldn't stay anywhere else

This hotel is superb, Location is great, yes its a walk back up the hill but its fine, or you can get a taxi. Our room was spacious and very clean, very comfy bed and brilliant shower. Breakfast was amazing you filled the form in day/night before and there was literally everything on it and you just choose what you wanted and the time you would be there and it was the best breakfast ever. There is Parking too which was great, the bar area with the old juke box just looks amazing, you can spend ages looking at the décor and all the pictures and even the lights, its one of the best BnB we have been in and I am not surprised it was the winner of 4 in a bed. We will be definitely visiting again and we would not stay anywhere else now.

We stayed here for 6 nights in October and I can honestly say it was one of the best breaks we’ve ever had, the room was stunning and as Kevin described it The OMG room and how right he was, the breakfast was faultless perfect every morning especially Kev’s big sausages lol, Kevin is an absolute character and both myself and my husband thought he was the perfect host, a lot of banter and certainly had our sense of humour, Julie is lovely and made us feel so welcome we made a comment on lush the homemade bread was and she went out of her way and baked us a fresh loaf to take home with us. I would recommend this little Gem to anyone we certainly can not to come back

We just spent a 4 night stay at The Albaston and had a lovely time. The room was immaculate and Kevin and Julie couldn’t have been more welcoming. Breakfast was lovely and the B&B was in a great spot. The bar was a good place to unwind after a busy day. Thanks to Kevin and Julie for a great stay!

Genuinely could not fault our stay at The Albaston. Everything was exceptional! Kevin and Julie are fantastic hosts and are lovely people. Breakfast was amazing and our room was perfect. The dogs were the main highlight for us though!

Room was lovely, stayed in the observatory room. Kevin and Julie were really friendly. Breakfast was great, especially the fruit bowl. Stayed a week, room not cleaned due to covid. Did ask for fresh bedding halfway into the holiday and this was done for us. Only 10 minutes from town but a bit of a climb uphill from the town.

What a great place to stay! Attention to detail is paramount at The Albaston both in the decor and facilities and the excellent breakfasts! Keith's breakfast fruit bowl was honestly the best I've ever had! And the full English is absolutely excellent!
We stayed in Valentino - quirky, special, and a large room on the first floor (there's no lift) and it was super! The restaurant is sunny & bright and the menu extensive. We loved the time we spent in Oscar's bar in the hotel, again a different, great place to be! We enjoyed the different art around the hotel (some of it painted by Julie!) and appreciated the quality of everything!
The hotel is in a good position in Torquay, everything's walkable! Every room is different so we'll be visiting again to try a diiferent one soon!

Decor was good. They’ve spent a lot of money on the place and take good care of the property. The breakfasts were extremely good.
The bar is only open from 8pm on Fri and Sat nights. Car park is tiny, but there’s ample free parking on the road.
