"Cheap location, very good room equipment, clean, friendly staff. You can park very cheaply in the deep garage. Check-in code you don't need as described here, also there is a reception that has opened up to 21:00. Unlike the description here, the accommodation does not offer breakfast, but you can get a breakfast in the nearby bakery."
"Sauberes Hotel direkt in der Fußgängerzone Stadtmitte. Hat uns gut gefallen. Vielleicht sollte B@B ein Check-Out einrichten, damit Zimmerservice und Putzkraft wissen wann die Gäste raus sind. Wurden nämlich am Check-Out Tag 2 mal klopfend von der Putzkolonne gestört und ziemlich früh sogar"
"The hotel is a bit far from the central city, nearly 3km, but the price/performance ratio is very high. There are also buses that go directly to the center of the old city, which is very convenient. There is a supermarket not far away, so you can buy some beer on the way out."
"Hotel is conveniently located next to the train station with 15020 minutes walking distance to old town. The staff were helpful and the breakfast was affordable. Definitely a good choice to stay as the hotel is good value for money."
"Old-fashioned villa bungalows, very close to the city center, walk to the festival theater of the Bayreuth Music Festival for about half an hour. Breakfast is OK, there is no one at the front desk, and the staff can be seen at breakfast, which is loose management."
"The hotel is charming , comfortable , the only thing they offer office cuisine and that area was somewhat dirty above the furniture
The rest very well"
"We spent 2 nights at Hotel Rheingold so we could visit the sights. This was our first stay in Bayreuth even though we have ridden the Main bike path two times earlier. The hotel lies one block from the downtown pedestrian zone and one block from the large shopping mall. There is just an easy stroll to the Opera house and to the Neu Schloss. It would be much more of a walk to the Ermitage. The train station is about a 15 minute walk. The hotel has a secure bike parking closet in the basement garage. For cars the €7 daily parking fee seems good compared to other hotels we've stayed at.
We were in room 302, a double room with king bed located on a corner of the building. When we arrived we were a bit concerned that the ac wasn't working. But within minutes the maintenance man showed up with the controller and got it up and running. He was evidentally checking the ac units in all the rooms on that floor. Otherwise the room would have been very hot.
The room was clean and a reasonable size. The bathroom was also a good size, clean, and there was good hot water. We would have preferred just a shower, no bathtub, but that's just our preference.
As others have noted the breakfast was great. There was hot eggs, bacon, sausage, a variety of fresh breads, cakes, and pastries, cereal, yogurts, fruits, etc. Hard to choose the best things to eat.
We were quite happy with our stay."

Great
SSowhat0614The largest room in Europe by far
Free mini bar in the house
The hotel is close to the business district, next to a church, pharmacy, perfume, clothing, it is very convenient to buy
AAbacool authentic hotel, kind people and friendly service. The location is perfect for exploring Bayreuth. Walking distance to lots of museum and the famous opera house. 5-10 min walk to train station if you want to explore other areas such as Nuremberg. I recommend the breakfast. It’s not buffet there is a menu and service so that felt luxurious for “included breakfast.” Very beautiful hotel and town!
SSteven SpielbergThe room is very spacious and bright, the surrounding is quiet, and the price is right. There is a local train station next to it. It is easy to find taxis next to the train station. There is a small restaurant called Pizza just a 3-minute walk away. Their fried noodles are more suitable for Chinese tastes. It is very convenient to stay here when you are on business or traveling.
GGuest UserVery nice hotel, just a few minutes from Bayreuth train station. Particularly noteworthy are the very friendly and helpful staff (Bienchen) and the first-class beds. I haven't slept so well in a long time. Absolutely perfect!
GGuest UserA short drive from the Autobahn, good price, excellent breakfast included, friendly helpful staff. Highly recommend a stop off there, I certainly will stop there again on my way south.
GGuest UserBecause the room will definitely be small or the facilities will definitely not be complete in the old city, this is psychologically prepared, breakfast seems to be 19, no breakfast choice, too much to eat in the city, parking 21 euros, because underground parking should have a certain difficulty, just parked in the opposite open-air parking lot, 15 euros a day, Overall, the location is good and the price is OK.
