"Hotel was clean and somewhat remodeled. Room still had some areas that you could tell had not been updated... They basically did just enough to make it look good... It did remain noisy in the parking lot most of the night with people hollering and loud music playing.. bed was clean and comfortable.. Overall, for the price paid, it was a good choice of places to stay."
"Can't say the hotel was too bad. However I can say the location is somewhat sketchy. Directly outside of the hotel their is alot of activity going on which is needless to say very questionable. Possible drug deals, ************ and drug doing. There is a gas station/convenience store right there on the premises which too draws a large crowd. However the rooms were ok. I just didn't like that I felt my car would be unsafe in there parking area due to the amount of questionable traffic. So sad to say I never took my luggage out the car in fear someone standing by would notice a bag or two and come back later to check it out. I did choose to leave but not because of the lodging. I think if you can get past the outdoor activity it may make for a nice rest spot. "

"I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. It was really nice, the front desk was really nice and sociable. My only thing is cleanliness. Normally I’d check a hotel bed before lying in it but I hadn’t this time. Before I left to checkout, I was looking around to make sure I had all of my belongs and I noticed that there was vomit smeared on the side of the bedding and a little bit on the wall and nightstand. It looked as if someone had started to clean it but had forgotten to get back to it. I meant to mention it to the front desk but I was in a bit of a rush to leave. Overall though, I did love my stay. It’s a very nice affordable hotel, I can tell it had been renovated. "

Very Good
RRae FrykbergWe arrived around 2:30 ish pm and needed to get to our room, order LYFT and go to a meeting scheduled for 5:00 pm. The desk person said check in time is 4:00 but would ck to see if a room had been cleaned and ready for occupancy. He verified one was ready and allowed us to go to that room. We were appreciative of the cleaning staff and the desk person.
All the hotel employees were friendly and courteous. The desk personnel even helped me with getting a Lyft app set up on my phone. The breakfast buffet was really good and extensive. There was always a line to cook waffles which caused a back up and slow moving line. Maybe have more waffle irons available. I wanted to order food from a nearby Panera Bread but the desk personnel called and/or looked up on line to find it had closed. She suggested if I placed an order thru the Panera Bread app, the person who drives the shuttle could take me to a different Panera Bread a little further away to pick up the food. I accepted her offer, bought the driver a snack and gave her a tip. I was able to have a wonderful mid afternoon meal.
The beds were very comfortable. I like the bathroom door with ”cloudy” glass which allows light in for use of the bathroom overnight. I like the use of attached to the wall containers of bath soap, etc. which definitely cuts down on use of smaller containers partially used and thrown away.
One important thing we suggest is the street sign for Arrow Street be much larger. Not being locals, the area was unfamiliar with us, there is heavy traffic and the Arrow Street sign is very hard to see.
Otherwise, we were very happy staying in this hotel.

GGuest UserI recently had the pleasure of staying at a Wingate by Wyndham Garner/Raleigh South. From the moment I stepped into the lobby until the day of my departure, I was thoroughly impressed with the level of cleanliness and attention to detail throughout the entire establishment.
The first thing that struck me was the warm and welcoming atmosphere as I entered the hotel. The staff at the front desk greeted me with smiles and were helpful. In the room the linens were fresh, the surfaces were spotless, and the overall cleanliness was impeccable. It was evident that the hotel placed a high priority on maintaining a hygienic environment for its guests. Throughout my stay, I also explored the hotel's facilities. The dining area, fitness center, and lounges were all clean and well-organized. Whether you are traveling for business or pleasure, you can rest assured that your stay at this hotel will be an enjoyable and memorable one.
CChaLoveI enjoyed the pool and the A/C was very good in the room. I had a balcony that overlooked the road and shopping center. Balcony king room looks exactly as advertised. The room was quiet and the sheets and towels were clean. Appreciated the refrigerator and microwave in the room. The ceiling had an uneven plastering done, but it did not affect my stay. The balcony has a simple two chair and table set, nice to have a drink on during a warm night. However, there is not a great view as this hotel is right off the road toward the city. Breakfast ends at 9 am, I wish they would change it to 10. I did not bother to wake for breakfast the next morning so I don’t really know what they had except yogurt, coffee, and a pancake making machine. Overall was a great stay and the staff is kind.
NNiwaniI was placed on the ground floor which could be very noisy for some people. Room was closed to house keeping, vending machine and other hotel function rooms.
If you are a light sleeper, I recommend to specifically ask for top floors and quite wing.
Location is 6 mins to Terminal 2, making it very convenient to go in and out to the airport.
Jjuly-flyThe plane was delayed and stayed at the airport for one night. I found Wyndham. When I arrived at the hotel from the airport, I contacted the hotel to help you call uber. I will take you to the hotel. There is a shuttle bus when I go to the airport, but it takes half an hour or an hour. Go to the front desk in advance to say hello time. Free uber service is not provided when there is a shuttle bus. There are many restaurants on the road outside the hotel, burger Chinese food, Cuban food, of which Cuban food is a must, tried it is really good. No slippers, toothbrush, need to bring your own, breakfast is simple but the bread, egg, bacon in the American breakfast is available.
GGuest UserI had stayed at the hotel years ago when I first visited Raleigh. It was delightful. I have noticed there was no way to have food in the hotel which is a bummer if you come there and have to order food. There was a bar to have a drink. I am coming from out of town. It would have been nice to have a nightcap before tucking into bed. I noticed the pool was not up and running. I also notice that only 1 elevator was working. If you step inside, it dropped and would not always open level to the floor. This is a big hazard, especially for the vision impaired.
Breakfast choices were few. If you are going to serve a buffet, have had sanitizer available. Get a juice machine to offer guests different varieties of juice. Use napkins instead of paper towels. To prevent covid, allow guest to place their hands in a glove to help ensure no transmittal of germs. The front desk clerk is not a food attendant. Hire someone to be there to watch the food. The edges of the food had set in pan so long that the edges were hard and unable to chew.
My rest was appropriate. The room was clean. If I had the option to stay there again, I would refuse.
JJankeres...you get what you paid for...the location of the hotel is close to other hotel brands, a gas station and fast food, so the place is quiet at least when I visited...check in was not too busy and the lobby was small...I stayed at the first floor, which I did not like it because most of the time you can hear other room doors open and close...they should fix the doors because the springs in them are strong which cause them to slam. So I would avoid the first but I booked a king bed...the room I stayed in was okay but I did not like the bathroom...the fan was too loud when you turn the lights on...breakfast was okay nothing fancy I just did not like how some of the guess did not know how to manage their own kids...they keep touching the food and the only waffle machine.
