"The location of the hotel is very close to the White House. Although the room is a bit small, it is clean and tidy. The view on the top floor is very good, there is a bar, and the service attitude of the staff is good. The only bad thing is that they call the front desk to get us cleaning supplies and they never show up , a little disappointed😞 Also, the bed is too soft, I can't rest well at night, and the coffee machine can't be used. Overall, I only agree that the location and hygiene here are very good. Others are not recommended"

"Lovely hotel right outside DuPont Circle. We took the train and/ or walked everywhere! While this isn’t a fault of the hotel, there were several large groups of teenagers (it was school vacation week), so it could get quite loud in the common areas. I couldn’t hear any noise from the other rooms in our room, but you could hear people running through the halls and slamming doors (which started pretty early in the morning).  We asked for extra towels one day, and the front desk said they’d be right up, but they never actually came. We asked the front desk for something else another day, and that also never happened. The complementary wine and cheese house was very enjoyable! We would consider staying here again."

"Before returning to China yesterday, I chose to stay at the Grand Hyatt Washington. The overall experience has highlights, but there are also some unsatisfactory aspects. When I walked into the hotel lobby, the first feeling was that it was open and bright, and the space was very spacious. There was no crowded feeling of people coming and going in other hotels. I felt comfortable and comfortable walking inside. The check-in speed was also very fast. The staff will kindly hand over an introduction paper, which clearly marked the hotel's various service facilities and precautions. It was convenient and practical, and the favorability was instantly full. However, when I walked into the assigned room, my mood suddenly dropped. This time I was arranged in a corner. The layout of the room was a bit strange, and the lighting was not ideal, giving people a sense of depression. The bathroom was even more ”disaster area”. The space was very small, and the sanitary conditions were worrying. There were still other people's hair in the washbasin, which instantly made me question the hotel's sanitation management. I thought that five-star hotels would achieve the ultimate in hygiene, but I didn't expect such a problem to occur. It was really disappointing. There are also some unhumane aspects in the check-in process. Other five-star hotels can check in by themselves as long as they can make a successful reservation on the Ctrip platform, but here, adults aged 21 and above must assist to complete the check-in procedure, which undoubtedly adds a lot of trouble for guests traveling alone or whose companions do not meet the age requirements. However, the hotel's porter service is remarkable. They are enthusiastic and quick, and they actively help to carry luggage and patiently answer my questions along the way. I can really feel the hotel's professional service quality from them, which is also one of the few warm moments in this imperfect stay experience. I hope the hotel can improve the room allocation, hygiene management and check-in process, and I believe this will bring guests a better accommodation experience."

"By far the worst JW Marriott 'experience' I've had. The elevator system was terrible, often times waiting for 20-30 mins for the elevator, and when it arrives, it's already full, having to wait for other elevators. This elevator system need to be reprogrammed. The fitness center was close and there was no notice anywhere that it was closed. I called the fitness center to ask if the fitness center has moved, the front desk responded I can go to the Westin Hotel fitness center, which was 1 mile away. One evening the fire system went off and we were told to evacuate the hotel, as we were walking down the stairs, they notified it was a false alarm. The location is great, but I will not stay here again."

"I’m pleased to say that everything was good and met expectations. Very well located. The friendly and accommodating staff were very helpful and genuinely dedicated. Well equipped fitness. Pricey breakfast and not too big, but certainly tasty. The room was clean, modern and elegantly decorated. There is a smart TV. Multiple charging outlets were available. There was a mini fridge and amenities were available upon request. Very handy information sheet provided upon check-in. I was able to store my luggage for some time before my departure. I was charged incorrectly, but this was promptly corrected. This is hotel is one of the few that can truly serve as an example to others."

"I really enjoyed my experience at The Morrow! The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming upon my arrival. My room was Beautiful with no issues and was very clean. Overall, the hotel itself is Beautiful. I wish they would have more of a variety for food choices but at the moment there is only one main French restaurant to dine at. However, a rooftop bar and lounge should be opening in the summer which will definitely draw more attention."

"Location is good, pretty close to the airport. No airport shuttle service though. Front desk people are nice and friendly. Room is clean. Love the neighborhood around the hotel. Many good restaurants within walking distance. It also takes about 15 minutes walking to the nearest metro station. My girls also loved the outdoor swimming pool. It’s pretty nice to swim in a pool with Washington Monument in the background. Definitely recommend this place to the families with kids."

"Room size are big, they have washer but no dryer in the room. The location is close to the metro and there are bus stops nearby that basically takes you to the Capitol Hill area etc. White House is just around 2 blocks away. Downside is there is no grocery nearby, the closest one is about 15 mins walk at least. There are plenty of decent restaurants in walking distance."

NNovax2 bedrooms and 1 living room. There are 2 large beds in the room. The sofa in the living room can be unfolded into a large bed. There is a mattress, but it is soft, so it is suitable for children. It is difficult to sleep with one big and one small. Turning over will make a creaking sound, so it is most suitable for big children who sleep soundly, so as not to affect the quality of sleep. There are 2 bathrooms. The kitchen is fully equipped, but there is no supermarket nearby, so buying ingredients is a problem. The hotel can buy them for you and charges a 30-dollar courier fee. There is a small supermarket in the hotel where you can buy snacks and water. Breakfast includes scrambled eggs, waffles, sausages, oatmeal and other hot foods, and drinks are all iced. Self-service coffee, hot water is provided in the self-service coffee area. The hotel has free water filling equipment, so bottled water is not provided. It will change slightly every day. The hotel parking fee is about 53 dollars. There are many parking lots around, but it is also quite expensive (I don’t remember the specific price). You can take the subway Silver Line to Dulles Airport, which is 6.75 one-way plus 2 yuan card fee. It takes about 1 hour to get to the airport. Walk to the national mall area, about 10-15 minutes walk

GGuest UserThe decoration looks like an old-fashioned hotel, so the facilities are a little bit worse. But the room is big enough, the health is good, there is a coffee machine, and the customer service staff are also very polite. It takes about ten minutes to get to the station.

GGuest UserThe first room had a very noisy fan. I was moved to another room which was much quieter. I noticed that there were several small issues with the room and relayed them to the front desk, where a manager (Keith) overheard me and said he would look into it. Nothing happened to correct it during the entire stay, not a note to say how or if it would be corrected. The issue was a ring of paint or epoxy in the bathtub, something that should have been cleaned up at the time of painting. The second issue was the very poor arrangement of lighting in the room. Lamps were confined to small areas, there was no overhead light and the bathroom was either overlit or underlit, while the closet area was dark unless it was daylight. Afterwards I noticed that there large holes in the sheer curtains in the room. Not tragic, but not in keeping with the tenor and tone of a Marriott Bonvoy. In the lobby there was only an ADA service elevator to go from the street to the lobby level. It was self operated, no instructions, no indication lights on either level and a bit noisy.

JJaylynn NazimIvy City Hotel was very clean. Its right on a busy main road, but it is easily assessable, if that makes any sense. The room smelled like **** (its legal), but was easily covered up by a lit candle. It easy very calm all throughout the day/night , especially for DC and the characters that come and go. All in all, its a good place to lay your head when you stay.
