"Our ryokanl booking came with sukiyaki dinner and breakfast. We enjoyed the dinner very much but had to skip the breakfast due to our tight schedule. The ryokan had a cosy atmosphere, almost as if like we were staying at a good friend's house. There were a few cute and friendly cats which were mostly hanging around the courtyard and reception area. Nice onsen private onsen baths. Wished that the ryokan had provided luggage stands for us to put our luggages instead of us having to place our luggages on the floor and on the sofa."

"Location - A bit far away from the Yufuin JR station, driving is recommended. Within walking distance of Kinrinko and Stained Glass Museum is a plus. Cleanliness - Clean room and common bath area. Service - Per booking confirmation check-in time is 1500-1900. Front desk staff was already gone when I arrived at around 1815. Took longer then expected for doing self check-in as the reservation number I have is different from what it is in the system, and the staff over phone barely speaks English so I have to use my broken Japanese to communicate. Facilities - Cannot ask for more for such a price. Free bicycle rental service is great for non-driving guess to travel around Yufuin."

The steps are cement gray. Although not high, they are easy to be ignored. 2. Although there is a glass partition door, the hot spring water and hot spring related equipment are quite loud at night. It is very uncomfortable to fall asleep on the first night. Guests with sleep problems can negotiate with the hotel to turn off the hot spring at night so that the water will not flow."

"まず温泉最高。画像以上に浴室は広く、大人2人がゆったり入れる湯舟でリラックス出来ました。 焼き肉は室内禁止なので備え付けのホットプレートで庭BBQ、これも意外とオツでした。 盆休みだったからかもですが、近くの〇コープのお肉もお寿司も上質で美味しかったです。 タオル・アメニティ・ドライヤー・お皿や調理器具・布巾にキッチンペーパー、洗濯機まで揃っていましたが、調味料と浴衣はないので持参しましょう。 敢えて難癖をつけるならば、外階段を上がって2階が玄関とリビングと和室とWC、そこから階段を下りて温泉と主寝室と和室・WCという作りなので、車いすの方は厳しいかもしれません。ただ、階段は急ではなく、手すりもしっかりしているので、手すりを持って階段を上り下りできる人（＝私）は大丈夫かと。 そして何よりも管理人さんのお人柄が◎　予約後何度か電話連絡させていただきましたが、本当に親切丁寧でした。この場をお借りしまして誠にありがとうございました。"
