Best location , just opposite zhuhai railways station fo travellers , just at the gongbei border for people to literally walk into Macau from the hotel , surrounded by restraunts and bars and 10 minutes drive to the view for the ocean 10-15 minute drive to downtown or bar street , the hotel as nice pool overlooking the city , it's good for weekend stay as it's very well connected

Best hotel in the area.Customer services and experience here is beyond expectations.It isclean, stylish, roomy and room itself was well equipped and comfortable. We had a wonderful weekend with the hotel. The breakfast is not bad though not much choices and cleanliness is little bit disappointing. And they have a Meituan** takeaway cabinet which is very convenient. I would recommend you to stay here if you are expecting a cozy night with friends/family.

Enjoy the room with outdoor hot tub. Having a taste of Onsen in Zhuhai. Overall impression is good but the service standard by F&B staffs could be enhanced. Thanks to the surprise arrangement by housekeeper after check-in. Overall speaking, the environment, hardware and food are great. 👍🏻

***ALWAYS MY FIRST CHOICE*** This is my second visit and the service still the best even in busy summer. As we are travelling with young kid and elderly, check in staff arrange room on the same floor and close to each other. Ben is very helpful, he helped me to arrange all transportation and recommend good place to go. Also arranged a cake and decorated the room for my husband’s birthday!!!The hotel located in a big shopping mall with many great activities, my families has a great time! Thank you and will definitely recommend to my friends.

Hengqin Bay Hotel is more premium, adult and tranquil than Chimelong's other more mass market and child-focused Penguin or Circus Hotels. My parents and I had a flawlessly wonderful time. We were kindly upgraded into an Executive Suite on 19/F, and were thus extremely well taken care of in-person by their Elite Club team on 18/F. The Elite Club team helped us personally with all dynamic trip bookings, including Ocean Kingdom park, Circus entertainment and daily restaurant (breakfast, dim sum lunch) bookings, even ordering our 7-seater transfers to and from both Macau and Hong Kong. Their Executive Suites offered incredible ocean views from their expansive balconies, and I could wake up to sunshine through their sheer curtains, as well as the sound of bird calls and dolphins echolocating from the downstairs lagoon, while waking up in the morning in a giant bed, with spacious bathrooms and tub, study desk and living room. The room was well stocked with Arpeggio coffee capsules and a Nespresso machine, assorted Dilmah teas, electric kettle, both Western + Chinese teaware and bottles of mineral water. We were able to also take transportation, e.g. wooden canal boats and golf carts, to explore both fellow Circus and Penguin Hotel restaurants, and daily activities, e.g. circus performances, penguin experience buffet dinner. Their breakfast buffet was in a restaurant filled with aquariums, with a huge selection of Western and Chinese hot and cold options, as well as fruit. For lunch, we had delicate and tasty novelty dim sum, such as sea urchin soup wontons, with sunny panoramic views overlooking the hotel and ocean. The swimming pool areas were most crowded and chaotic with noisy children and parents renting floaties and playing in the foam party sections, but if you are just looking for a shady, quiet cabana for rest and relaxation, you were able to find that too in the side sections. We also enjoyed free afternoon teas with sandwiches, fruit, panna cottas and cakes at the 18/F Elite Club. You were also able to buy a wide selection of Chimelong Ocean Kingdom souvenirs and swimwear at the Hotel's retail stores. Altogether a lovely stay and guest experience, that went off without a hitch!

Transportation: Depart from Xiangzhou Port Wharf and take a 50-minute boat ride to Dong'ao Island. Citizens of Zhuhai City have a 20% discount. After the discount, the adult round-trip ticket is 136RMB. In windy weather, the big waves will shake the boat more violently. Friends who suffer from motion sickness remember to bring motion sickness stickers. After landing on the island, the hotel will have a free shuttle bus, which is a battery car, and there will be one soon, so there is basically no need to wait for the bus. It takes about 10 minutes on the mountain road from the pier to the hotel. Accommodation: This time I booked three garden view rooms to celebrate my parents' 35th wedding anniversary. I would like to thank Ling Jianzhao, the little brother at the front desk, who thoughtfully helped us upgrade to a sea view room, specially arranged rooms connected together on the same floor, so that it is convenient to take care of the elderly and children traveling with us, and even gave us a cake. When checking out, they thoughtfully sent us a few motion sickness stickers. ❤️It is comparable to the service standard of Forbes Hotel! In addition, I also want to praise the staff in the concierge department, all of them are warm and polite. During my stay, I failed to open the lobby door by myself. Food: There is also a restaurant in the hotel, and we have a free dining coupon of 300RMB when we book a room. Went to the Chinese restaurant on the third floor. I ordered the siu mei platter, hot and sour lotus root with stir-fried fat beef, sea**** jade seed tofu mussels pot, fisherman steamed three treasures (dried fish with white rice, dried squid, dried salted fish in warehouse), fried Chinese kale, salt and pepper nine belly fish. After the discount, you will pay 255RMB yourself, for your reference. Environment, service and taste are still ok. It is highly recommended if you have a coupon. Thank you to all the staff of Gree Dong'ao Hotel for their warm hospitality. Our family had a wonderful holiday. Next time I come to Dong'ao Island, I will choose your hotel again.

Love Sheraton's friendly who upgraded us to a room with balcony that has a great view of the sea fronting the hotel. The indoor pool was great for my kids and they enjoyed it to the fullest. A big surprise was that there is a seafood wet market that are lined with restaurants that you can pick and choose to cook your basket of seafood purchase. The bill cost a couple of hundreds of rmb that would have more than a thousand dollars. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to zhuhai.

The staff at Charming are generally friendly and attentive throughout our stay. My husband was looking for hot Americano at 10pm last night but there wasn’t a single cafe around the area after walking round. When we approached the front desk for help, Mr Howard Zheng and his staff Diana/Dana (new foreigner staff whom I didn’t quite get her name) were ready to help. They personally took the initiative to lead my husband and I through the streets to an alley where there was still a cafe opened till 11pm and we enjoyed our cup of Americano. Mr Howard even gave us his contact before leaving and offered to come and guide us back to the hotel if we needed help. That’s what I called Superb service !

Nothing much to eat around but it's located near the beautiful beach. Rooms are clean without any bad /cigarette smells - which is rare in China. The room is spacious with double - double bed setting. The only thing that I don't like is the shower. Water pressure is low and the shower head could not be set at a steady position.

Before staying this hotel, I read some negative reviews on cleanliness and service. Therefore, I am worried about it. However, the actual experience was totally different. The room was very clean and huge. The cleaner definitely did a great job. Not only that, the warm welcome especially from the bellboy staff were great. One of the night shift staff (Lionel) went to the extra mile to help us order food delivery because our overseas number cant do so. I hope they can keep up standard and hope to stay there again.
